Umesh Reddy, the man who is famously known as the Beast of Bangalore, is a serial rapist, murderer who confessed to have brutally killed and raped 18 women. But, the police believes that Umesh raped at least 20 women in the states of Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujrat.

The policing system still works the same few months back police arranged compromise between thieves and victims, though thieves were red handedly caught by people. On 01-03-2023 two lack rupees of worth theft occurred. Policing system is the major problem in India.
We tell people that we will sue them in courts,but inside we know nothing gonna happen except wasting money.Indian judiciary is the weakest and needs to be changed.
The law of our country does not save anyone, no criminal is punished at the right time and appropriate punishment. No one cares about the rights of victims, human rights are only for criminals. A criminal gets the opportunity of human rights even after a hundred crimes, who has no remorse for his crimes, gets released and commits crimes again. Punishment is for the victim and his family because they have to live mentally and physically for the rest of their lives.

A law should be made where every rapist and killer will need to serve the judge and his family for at least one year after completing his punishment sentence. As I'm also a resident of Chitradurga, I know the actual story and by watching the interviews of the police who actually arrested him. I noticed that some of the information is missed in this video. Actually he escaped to gujarat after the lady recognised him in a police event and he attempted to do the same there and caught then he reached Bangalore after escaping from Gujarat.

Few months ago I watched movie Ratsasan, which is also based on (partially) true case. This case is very similar to that. And in both the cases police failed multiple times. Not sure what made him like this but law and order and police are also to be blamed for not being efficient enought to stop criminals like this.

One thing that I realised from this was I should have never kept quiet. Umesh's first on record assault should have been taken seriously and he should have been behind the bars. People around the victim should also support them morally so that they can raise their voice and shush these types of people forever. I was assaulted while coming from my classes. I took a sharing auto as usual and I was the first to sit in it while the rest followed. There were 3 men and all were much older than me while I was 16. I asked them to let me sit on the end since my stop was first but in reality I was not comfortable sitting inside but they refused and were a little arrogant with their tone I didn't say anything and sat quietly. The man beside me touched my thighs and I removed his hands and shrunk myself while he didn't stop and the very next moment he kept his hand on my shoulder and grabbed my bosom and I screamed and he immediately took his hand back. I got down in the middle and took a private auto that day and cried hell and didn't even tell my mom about it cuz I was so scared since everybody around me always preached girls to behave nicely when they are out instead of teaching the boys the same. I now think how many girls he must have assaulted and that he did that in broad daylight and when I walked out of auto he even winked at me while smirking when I was giving money. People and their mentality is also to be blamed towards these victims. I don't even remember his face it's just his smirk that's imprinted in my mind till now. I don't even want to imagine the horror people go through.
