    Great topic! Let’s not forget one way bridges and surprise speed bumps. I find the city driving in Costa Rica challenging, but the rural driving is not that bad.

      Oh ... the bridges, including one section of Highway 1 where it literally turns from 2 lanes to 1 each way UNDER an overpass, then immediately goes back. So weird. Thanks for the comment @leejeffries9796 - totally agree!

    The runs to the mountains and tourist parks are very narrow. It rains a lot in September, October, in the winter months, but it is rewarded by the beautiful landscapes.

    sounds like driving in CR is a cross between Scotland & Italy, so no problimo 🤣
