I feel honored to have been at this show, 8 hour drive, done in 6 hours, explored NYC no sleep, got drunk slept from 10pm till 8am, more NYsights, waited 3 hours in line to get a good spot, and did inside the first barricade, and 3 hours later, mind blown, then stood in the spot where my hero was slain at the Dakota in 1980, cried, got the best pizza ever drove all night back to canada. Amazing weekend. And i can relive the show whenever i want. It has become so iconic that i make newer fans jealous. Peace
I was there!! This show changed my soul! Please keep in mind this was 2 years after 9/11, in the middle of New York City.. The National Anthem was very fitting.. 120k people.. $20 tickets.. everything went to the NYC public schools.. The rain the day before was bananas.. they were not sure if the people in charge of Central Park were going to open the lawn to people.. they are VERY protective of their grass.. the great lawn is a big deal.. it was a full on sprint from one side of the lawn to where the stage was.. it has to be near 500-600 yards.. when this song ended I sobbed..
There is just something special about seeing you two react to this band. It’s so genuine! This is my favorite band and I just love seeing others get sucked in. Love your reactions!
I Love watching you two. I was at that show. I've been following Dave Matthews Band for 30 years. I've seen them 94 times live, I've never seen a bad show. Not one time.
This concert from Central Park is full of amazing performances. They were in their prime. I encourage you to review every single performance from this show. It is 1,000,000% guaranteed that you’ll enjoy every single performance- here’s hoping you do just that! :)
This is my favorite band of all time. I’m not sure if you guys have reacted to #41 from the Listener Supported album, but please make some time for that one. It is one of their greatest live performances. Have a great day and love your reactions!
Now these folks are real artist. It is a serious requirement that you’d be a great instrumentalist to be in the Dave Matthews Band. I can assure you they would never consider autotune, and also think it was an insult.
The fandom knows exactly what you're talking about! We've been there. They have so many good songs in their catalog. It's hard to suggest which way to guide you next. Dancing Nancies, 41, Grey Street, Say Goodbye, Crush, Crash, Rapunzel, Seek Up for starters lol
Great Song, lots of covers out there, love Dave Mason's studio version, Jeff Healey live from London and Bryan Ferry live in London, just to name a few. But like Jimi Hendrix version best. Probably my all time favorite rock song.
I've been lucky enough to see them around 50 times live and I've never seen them play without that passion you are noticing. I hope you get a chance to see them live someday. Enjoy your DMB journey!
I have listening to the Dave Matthew’s bands radio hits since all the way back in the early 90’s. But I never truly got into their music seriously until I saw them live at the Gorge in 2016 and all I can say is it was like a profound religious experience where you are converted by what you witness and you can’t go back… I have seen this band live many times since then and can honestly say I love their music in all platforms, record, CD, TH-cam videos, you name it if it’s Dave Matthews I will listen… but nothing matches seeing them live. I have never been disappointed with a live show yet! You should make a point of seeing them live if you can!
My band back in the mid-late '90s did many gigs with Dave Matthews Band and even filled in for them on one gig. I know them and we were one of their rivals coming up.
The Jimi Hedrix tribute at the start was fantastic. And then everything builds on top of that ever more fantastic. I love these extended songs where the band members get their own spotlight space to jam.
Hallo You two dear Souls 😊...I would like to recommend a very special artist to you....pleas, react to, bird's teardrops - estas tonne feat peia luzzi live ashland Oregon 2018...It will give you goosebumps all over your body😅...music is universal ❤

You are gonna love the live version of “Two Step”! 😎
Love how you 2 love discovering the music of this incredible band. I see others recommending the song “#41” & concur in that choice. I’ll also recommend a “HALLOWEEN”. Preferably LIVE versions of both. 😉👍🥂
Hello there guys! I love these videos and DMB so much!! If it helps I've been to 23 shows and been a fan for 15 years, a video reaction for "last stop" on live trax vol1 or any video form you can find with quality will shake you to the core. Cheers!
One of the best bands to see live. I've seen them over 100 times through the years live. Dave is a musical genius. The band are great musicians. They can jam with the best ot them.
PLEASE CREATE A DAVE MATTHEWS PLAYLIST!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤. I BEG YOU!! I love all your reactions but I want to find all of them in one place!!!!!!! Please PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 😊
do yourselves a favor and order the DVD and watch all of it, There isnt a bad song on it. For the channel, from the same concert watch 2 steps, you'll be amazed.
You actually don't know what you are gonna with DMB live, they change arrangements all the time but you can guarantee It's going to be great. Besides getting a great show they know how to bring you back this is why so many people see them many many times.
I know that you like Three Dog Night. Have you reacted to the song “Liar” yet? This is a cover of “Liar” by the Jay Sekulow Band which is made up of music legends from Kansas, Petra, and others. They do these just for the fun of honoring great music. It is EXCELLENT! “Liar” th-cam.com/video/G1E4NwD5_nE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Sf5CAY2Z35vsMtRy
Been to 7 DMB shows... I often find myself saying "just play the f'ing song" OR "just finish this incessant twanging". I love the music, but they take this 'jam band' crap way too far. 7 minute Intro is ridiculous.
Forget it for Jimi Hendrix owns this tune. No one comes close. Just ask Bob Dylan that wrote the tune. React to Hendrix "All Alone the Watchtower" and I'm sure you'll agree.
There’s a lot of people in the comments saying how good this version is and I wouldn’t like to get on the wrong side of fellow DMB but I don’t think it’s the best version. Once it gets going it’s amazing but the beginning is surplus I reckon. I’ve seen them play it live and it really is the best version in my opinion. But yeah I think until Dave starts it’s all a bit unnecessary.

This concert was held in Central Park after the events of 9/11. Which is why Stefan playing the national anthem on Bass Guitar hit so hard…
Come to America and I will buy you both tickets to a Dave Matthews Band concert.

What about Led Zeppelin??
💯
Their #1 live song of all time, without a doubt
Dave Matthews Band -The Last Stop (Live In Chicago '98)
Wow. Great reaction. Much love to you both.
I'm so glad you guys did this song and version. It's truly the best. 30+ year fan of this band. Thanks for the great review ❤
Love Dave Matthews Band, I've seen 30 times since 1998, just saw them in colorado last weekend. Yes, do #41, you will love!
#41 is great.. but 'Two Step' Live i love⭐
I’ve heard this quote before.
“All among the watchtower. Written by Dylan, made famous by jimi Hendrix, perfected by Dave matthews band”
Now these folks are real artist. It is a serious requirement that you’d be a great instrumentalist to be in the Dave Matthews Band. I can assure you they would never consider autotune, and also think it was an insult.
Great group!!! Great band!!! GREAT Concert!!! Great cover!!!
This is a great cover but I still love Jimi's. Thanks so much guys for reacting to this one - Dave Matthews is an incredible talent!

+ warehouse, two steps and many more

Dave Matthew's Band is all exceptional musicians and I promise you, you will have an amazing time if you get to see them live
Seen DMB live 7 times, they’re one of the best live acts.

This is a good cover, in its own way, but Dylan's original, gave it life, while Jimi Hendrix, gave it its soul!
Dave Mason did a stellar performance of this song in the 70s. And of course Bob Dylan wrote the song and perfoemed it first.
OMG! I’ve been WAITING for you to see this! I have not even hit play yet!!
Beautiful magic ✨✨💘🎉🎉
Excellent cover of Bob Dylans classic. Jimi Hendrix did a phenomenal cover as well.❤
Great reaction⭐
Saw them in the late 99s, fantastic
The Jimi Hedrix tribute at the start was fantastic. And then everything builds on top of that ever more fantastic. I love these extended songs where the band members get their own spotlight space to jam.
saw these guys at the Gorge on Saturday. They never stop being great!
Ty really

You are gonna love the live version of “Two Step”! 😎
The first time I saw DMB was in 1994 opening for Phish. For Phish’s encore, both bands played together this song.
Love how you 2 love discovering the music of this incredible band. I see others recommending the song “#41” & concur in that choice. I’ll also recommend a “HALLOWEEN”. Preferably LIVE versions of both. 😉👍🥂
You 2 should fly to Connecticut for their fall show at Mohegan Sun casino. The sound is incredible in that venue.
Oh yeah, by the way, you should watch this whole concert, by far the best live show I've ever seen
DMB Rock & Roll Hall of Fame bound next month!!
Awesome reaction ❤ juan Gabriel "si quieres" would love to see your reaction. Is a love song

🤘🤘
You guys should check out a DMB song called “you never know.” It’s a beautiful musical arrangement but I think you’ll really love the lyrics too
My Bob Dylan's fav song ever...! This song is covered 1000 times! Best versions Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen always!!! ❤❤
One of the best bands to see live. I've seen them over 100 times through the years live. Dave is a musical genius. The band are great musicians. They can jam with the best ot them.

Good job by Dave. For a great cover of this Bob Dylan song you might want to watch Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush play it live from 1979.
do yourselves a favor and order the DVD and watch all of it, There isnt a bad song on it. For the channel, from the same concert watch 2 steps, you'll be amazed.

DMB can throw down.
Jimi thing central park next. Their heads will explode 😂
Please do Ambrosia Holding on to Yesterday
Do a go fund me to see DMB next time they are in europe.
I believe this was two years after 9/11.
The best version of All Along the Watchtower is Dave Mason's version. Better than Hendrix, better than this, better than all of them.
I know that you like Three Dog Night. Have you reacted to the song “Liar” yet? This is a cover of “Liar” by the Jay Sekulow Band which is made up of music legends from Kansas, Petra, and others. They do these just for the fun of honoring great music. It is EXCELLENT!

Why do we always have to compare versions? Can’t several be good? It’s not a contest.
Been to 7 DMB shows... I often find myself saying "just play the f'ing song" OR "just finish this incessant twanging". I love the music, but they take this 'jam band' crap way too far. 7 minute Intro is ridiculous.
Jimmy Thing is the best song from that show
Forget it for Jimi Hendrix owns this tune. No one comes close. Just ask Bob Dylan that wrote the tune. React to Hendrix "All Alone the Watchtower" and I'm sure you'll agree.
I loved Jimi Hendrix's version back in the day, but no one brings the fire like Dave Matthews Band.
Hendrix is wildly overrated. Deal.
@@thelmctodaythelmctoday4037 Not with this tune.
@@crowsinging Dylan says Hendrix owns it. I'll go with Dylan.
This is version is better
Nothing against the DMB, but that sounds horrible!
There’s a lot of people in the comments saying how good this version is and I wouldn’t like to get on the wrong side of fellow DMB but I don’t think it’s the best version. Once it gets going it’s amazing but the beginning is surplus I reckon.

But yeah I think until Dave starts it’s all a bit unnecessary.
The intro was a mess, no need for the National Anthem. I'll pass after that.
🤮
I used to play this on repeat after seeing this!! ❤
