The chemistry between Ann-Margaret and Elvis was real; they had a relationship while making this movie. They stayed in contact until he died.

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, there's never been anyone more flattered than Elvis. He was a natural mover. An original. Gifted beyond the norm.

Elvis never, never, never practiced dance movements like professional dancers do. Just like his mother, Elvis moved as the music made him feel. There was a name for it.
When asked if he thought about and practiced dance moves, Elvis replied that he could not as he would forget all about the song. He just moved with the music.

At the time, Ann-Margret was hailed as the "Female Elvis" - during the movie and for a time thereafter they were romantically involved, as their palpable chemistry had them falling in love. To this day, she has nothing but praise about Elvis.. a truly classy act

I love your reactions to Elvis. thank you for showing him the respect that he deserved. I love him so much.
He’s the greatest, in my opinion, of singers and entertainers. Thank you for all of your reactions. I really loved what you said Travis, about how easy it is to criticize someone else, and it would be nice if people didn’t say so many bad things and keep it to themselves. There is no doubt Elvis was and always will be the best entertainer ever and the greatest singer. Again, thank you for your reactions to him. I really love the nice things you say about him. It makes me feel very good to hear that

Your reactions are Awesome! You two definitely have good taste in music! Elvis was the highest paid actor in the world at that time. Ann Margaret was at the top of her game. Both were young AND Jay Leno the comedian said - to this day - Elvis Presley is the ONLY Hollywood actor to NEVER - make a movie that lost money. 31 feature films and 1 documentary.

Elvis and Ann Margret fell hard for each other during the filming of Viva Las Vegas and she always said in several interviews over the years that he was the love of her life🎶💜 His movie "Tickle Me" has two really good movie clips doing the songs "Night Rider" and "Put The Blame On Me" and-was one of his best movies to me!!🎶🎸🎵💜

You said a lot of good truths!
There are a lot of artists that I don`t particularly like, and yet I can appreciate their talent, they just aren`t my piece of cake. It`s a question of taste, and you can`t argue about taste :))
Actually, I never considered Elvis a dancer. He moved his body to the music because he couldn`t stand still. And I love his moves because they are smooth and authentic.
Great reaction, guys, as always :)))

It was pure fun. Colonel Parker was afraid that Ann-Margret would get too much attention and detract from Elvis in the movie. But it turned out fine. In the movie Elvis does a beautiful song called "Today, Tomorrow And Forever. A-M is on the sidelines looking at Elvis. It's not featured in the movie, but they did the song together and it is wonderful. Also, not in the movie, but quite saucy is "Your The Boss" with them teaming up. It's special.

Thank you Matt for the sponsored request! Thank you Suzi and Travis for the great reaction! Ann-Magret was also a big star at this time. Colonel Parker attempted to keep her from sharing top billing with Elvis but eventually relented to the studio. It's been said multiple times and confirmed by many including Ann-Margret herself that their chemistry was real. To piggy back Travis's comments, She was definitely a studio dancer, though she injected lots of vivaciousness and flair, while Elvis was a street dancer, bot oh-so-smooth.

I'am 68 years old and have never heard the top billing BS ...... You just told ...... And that is because it is your BS ...... Because you read something on a post and BAM it's true to you without looking to find if it is true ..... ANN was a good performer ...... And yes she was a fairly big name then but so was ...... Many other women ...... Stella Stevens ...... Ursula Andress ...... Elsa Cárdenas ...... Debra Paget ..... Judy Tyler ..... Dolores Hart ...... Shelley Fabares ..... Vicky Tiu ...... Nancy Sinatra ..... Lots of people try to make her {Ann Margret }out to be { Including herself to be this Elvis female } ....... She was Not

While Elvis did create his own style of dance moves, he did admit to copying the dance moves of one of his friends and fellow entertainers , Jackie Wilson....Jackie was proud that Elvis liked and used his dance moves in the early days... You can see Jackie Wilson dancing to his song " Lonely Teardrops" and you might think that this guy dances like Elvis, but Elvis actually learned from him...
