They will turn to the truth some time after the church is removed and after the Antichrist comes on the scene, standing in the holy place and declaring he is God. (Read Revelation 7:4 & 14:3-5). Check out Chuck Smith; he was a really good Bible teacher.
It can't be the church; in those scriptures in Matthew, Jesus was obviously speaking to Jews, people who will be in Israel. He saw far into the future, knowing that the gospel will be read by Jews during the tribulation. The Lord is not done with His people Israel; He has not cast them off. Blindness in part has happened to them until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in, and then the church will be removed and the Spirit will again work among His people corporately. I believe there are Jews in every generation that come to the truth but as a whole they are blinded but God will again work among them.
But Jesus fulfilled the law of Moses. He left us with two commandments: love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. If you do these two things, you fulfill the whole law of Moses. If you love your neighbor, you're not going to steal from them, lie to them, etc. Being born again, one could more easily fulfill those commands by His spirit at work in us who believe. It is His life at work in us to will and to do what pleases Him. Yes, It is about relationship and not religion. If we genuinely love the Lord and are intimately intertwined with Him, engaging in a day-to-day love exchange with Him, it makes all the difference in the world. Loving Him changes us in every aspect of our lives, and in this, we become like the One we love and serve. Salvation came from the Jews (in Jesus' own words to the Samaritan woman at the well). We gentiles, are only grafted in by grace. God can do whatever He wants however He desires. Who are we but mere mortals to say God can't have a chosen people through whom He brings salvation? I wouldn't dare. God is almighty and does not think as we mortals do. It is better to humble oneself in faith than to bring God down to your own level and reasoning. What I say is not unbiblical. But none of this matters, because as long as your faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, then we are family.

@@snowymountain9305 The 144 thousand are not the church or a select group from the church; they are believing Jews during the Great Tribulation, all of whom are male virgin Jews marked by God. They will turn to the truth some time after the church is removed and after the Antichrist comes on the scene, standing in the holy place and declaring he is God. (Read Revelation 7:4 & 14:3-5). Check out Chuck Smith; he was a really good Bible teacher.
It can't be the church; in those scriptures in Matthew, Jesus was obviously speaking to Jews, people who will be in Israel. He saw far into the future, knowing that the gospel will be read by Jews during the tribulation. The Lord is not done with His people Israel; He has not cast them off. Blindness in part has happened to them until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in, and then the church will be removed and the Spirit will again work among His people corporately. I believe there are Jews in every generation that come to the truth but as a whole they are blinded but God will again work among them.
But Jesus fulfilled the law of Moses. He left us with two commandments: love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. If you do these two things, you fulfill the whole law of Moses. If you love your neighbor, you're not going to steal from them, lie to them, etc.
Being born again, one could more easily fulfill those commands by His spirit at work in us who believe. It is His life at work in us to will and to do what pleases Him. Yes, It is about relationship and not religion. If we genuinely love the Lord and are intimately intertwined with Him, engaging in a day-to-day love exchange with Him, it makes all the difference in the world. Loving Him changes us in every aspect of our lives, and in this, we become like the One we love and serve.
Salvation came from the Jews (in Jesus' own words to the Samaritan woman at the well). We gentiles, are only grafted in by grace. God can do whatever He wants however He desires. Who are we but mere mortals to say God can't have a chosen people through whom He brings salvation? I wouldn't dare. God is almighty and does not think as we mortals do. It is better to humble oneself in faith than to bring God down to your own level and reasoning. What I say is not unbiblical.
But none of this matters, because as long as your faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, then we are family.
Jesus will come a second time to rule and reign as King in glory and power and we who believe will rule and reign with Him in the kingdom age….
