Fizzy lemon is a nice colour for your Raleigh Chopper Mike. The fizzy lemon spray painted on your bike matches the yellow highlights over-sprayed on your hair. 😂 14:00 … That was a neat idea using a broomstick through the bike frames headset to help clamp it in place using your bike stand. Shame though you got some overspray on your bike stand. You should of used masking tape and newspaper to wrap round it once the bike frame was clamped in position. Regarding any excess dripping paint on the frame. You could use a 1000 grade sandpaper, very fine. Dipped in water and lightly sand over those drops of paint to flatten them out so you can spray over that part of the frame. But make sure metal is clean and dry beforehand. Well done mate.
Cheers for the positive constructive comment.. how on earth I managed to get paint in my hair is beyond me, I guess it's just another addition to my kack handed incompetence!!😕. If you can't have a laugh at yourself there's no hope.. luckily I don't take bike rest too seriously, if I did I think I would have given up by now... Edit... 3 showers later, still paint in my hair😧. I'm going over the frame again, will use your tips. Thank you
@@dealermike1331 Your welcome Mike. Just remember you want that sandpaper to be fine when using it with water. 1000/1200 grit. Have a feel of the paper before buying to make sure it’s smooth enough and not abrasive. I’m just like you, whenever I spray paint which is less nowadays, I get paint everywhere. 😂 I agree with you though, if you can’t laugh at yourself there’s no hope. 😂 I’m less reluctant to spray paint nowadays, unless I really have to because I don’t like breathing in those vapours and damaging my lungs, which triggers my OCD. Just make sure you ventilate your shed as well when spray painting Mike. 🍀

Yeah Ford signal yellow.. not finished yet, will need another coat and tidy up the edges, decals and clear lacquer... It is what it is bud, like I said a 6 out of ten, I had a go, it'll get built and it'll get ridden. That's all I ever set out to do. Thank you though as always for the positive comments
press the paintcan trigger and let the paint flow longer and short up and down say 12 inches up and then down the same and dont get to close basicalley keep ya hand movin and the hand on the paint trigger
That'll look the business once done! ❤ Always lacquer over decals as it stops them from peeling off on the corners. 👍 What's that RSW in the background? I'm losing track of what bikes you own and what videos you've made. 😊

spray loads of laquer 2 coats and dont get to close or thats how it runs dont get close keep can 6 inches from bike keep paint flowin even burstsup and down side to side easey
Cheers Dave. Nice collection. I wouldn't mind a MK3.. I think they go for affordable money. They enable people to get into the chopper scene who can't stretch to MK1, 2 or 4 money. Do you ride them much?
@davesmith7688 I did the Hemel Hempstead ride out past year, 8 miles on a MK2 along the canal path.. not the comfiest to say the least. I'm on that Facebook page for the chopper people. Any ride outs they always put up.
Cheers... The paint I used is ford signal yellow. 97% accurate apparently.. I genuinely couldn't tell you what the closest paint match to the red / orange grifter is. Your best bet is to join the grifter/ chopper/ BMX Facebook page (takes about 5 mins to join) and put a post out... Pretty certain someone will tell you within minutes... Plenty of knowledge on that group

Having a broom handle through the top is the only way I can see it getting done. Can you see any other methods ?
