If only everyone felt this way about health care. Thanks to Sadhguru, I walk around barefoot, which was not easy for me. I cannot stand wet grass on my bare feet. I do walk through the grass with the morning dew. I lay on the grass. Thank you Sadhguru, I couldn’t have gotten through the death of my husband without this wisdom. 💙

I suffered chronic pain in my mid 20’s and what he said is very true.
I did it without knowing I just changed my life because of an awakening I experienced while lost in the mountains solo.
    The transformation was instant.
I was no longer the same person and high on bliss. The pain and fear of pain melted off my body and I felt like I was reborn.
My lifelong allergies went away and started doing yoga again intensely to build my body’s foundation.
I eat far less 1-2x a day but am far more efficient of a human being.
Until your life is facing death you won’t take the leap.
When you have nothing left to lose that is when you will seek.

VERY similar experience for me as well. In the mountains, and it was instantaneous. It has not faded after months. Isn't this phenomenon so interesting?

I am happiest when I am barefoot, digging in the soil.
So simple! I do it everyday.
Rainy days are my favorite ones.
Walking on the beach comes in second. Of course barefoot.
    Life is so simple.

I had the fortune to have been born in a country without all the comforts of kids in the US. I remember running barefooted, playing with mud, playing in the rain, picking up creatures that scare the crap of most people now. Fast forward, I can not walk barefooted anymore, my feet are sensitive and a little rock digging will cause a lot discomfort. Now that I am about to retire, I am trying to reconnect with nature by taking camping trips and retraining myself to touch the earth by gardening in my days off. I've forgotten how relaxing this activities can be.

I really can support what he said about 'tremendous effect' of bathing in a river.
In the last years I often was tired early during the day and could hardly concentrate on my work.
But I discovered that bathing in a nearby sea really 'made a new person' out of me. I feel really rejuvenated. It is also very beautiful there, ducks are swimming, big trees, the wind makes a song with leaves...
It is best to not jump in the water and the hurry back to work, but much better if you decide to relax some minutes, enjoy the sunlight and beauty of nature there.

John Michael Saraceno I just dld that last week. Was in my head a little so I walked by the water barefoot on the beach next to the water listening to music and it felt so good. Children was digging in the sand and playing. Everyone looked so happy. It was refreshing. Something deep in my soul kept telling me to do just that. I was there for almost three hours and didn’t realize how long I was actually there. So glad I did it. 💫

I don't understand people, why shoes are so important in our societies. in french someone with nothing, no money, no house, someone you shouldn't make friend with is called "bare foot walker" (un va nus pieds). this says everything about how the shoes are seen in occidental culture.
