Good effort.
I cover this. He is a bit nasally. I know that’s his natural voice, but it just is. I can match pitch with Gerard McMahon, perfectly, so my own version, isn’t a far departure. I just ad a little more growl on the bass end, with an overtone technique. Makes it’s much more full spectrum, when mixed with just my acoustic.

I'm firmly in the camp that this is a sacred song that is not cover-able because the artist will jet screw it up. Then Manson did his, and I dare say it's better than the original by a slight margin. SSPU did an excellent job here as well. That acoustic bass was dialed in and sound f-ing amazing!

The issue I have with this cover is the lack of the haunting feel that this song needs.
great cover. However every cover so far gets the lyrics wrong. After blue masquerade 'deep in your veins I will not lie' should be 'deep in your veins I'll have 9 lives' Which makes more sense for a vampire centric song.
I'll go check Corey Feldman's cover. Surely he's gotten this right.
