V was one of my favorite shows as a child. The 2009 ish reboot strayed too far from the original . They should have brought Diana in the first few episodes. Hopefully they will try to reboot it again one day.
I would love if they tried to reboot it again and stay more faithful to the original! V still really feels like untapped potential and a missed opportunity to me, which is amazing to say (considering the success it had in the 80s.) It feels like in some alternate universe... some alternate Earth somewhere... V became a huge 80s franchise that it was meant to be and spawned movies, cartoons, and toys. Clearly something just went wrong on our Earth. 😄
I have to agree with you on the heat thing. I live in Minnesota, and do not like the cold winters. Just never left 🤷♂️. But the past couple years my wife and I (who also prefers the heat over cold) have been traveling each summer to different southern states looking for “the place”. We want to start a small hobby farm with a big garden, that’s the way I grew up. I hope this movie sticks, it could be so epic if done well. I’d be extremely excited if they did a side by side movie 🤞
A hobby farm? That's awesome! My great Aunt lived in Finesville NJ and she and my Uncle were all about the hobby farm. She had no livestock but she grew Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Strawberries, Raspberries, had a couple apple trees and boy it was a joy to eat there. Just her applesauce alone, wow, it was amazing to taste something so unprocessed! Good luck on finding that sweet spot! I don't think I'll ever get put of here. 😄 They definitely talked about filming two back-to-back movies at Netflix like Rebel Moon. I guess it wasn't meant to be. It's too bad, I actually had a friend employed in that production!!!

I did not like it what so ever 😢 and I was really looking forward to it. So I hope they don’t go too far off the normal, but I do understand some creativeness.
I must point out that in the article that announced Nicholas's casting it was stated that the plot of THIS movie is kept under wraps which confirms to me that this movie is NOT going to have the 10 year old Prince Adam going to earth story and that was simply a copy and paste from the story The Nee Brothers were going to make and the script for this one isn't finished yet, and as for if the movie will be filming this year i think what Nicholas meant was that the early stages getting filming will start late this year with principal photography actually beginning early next year

When they announced the MOTU Movie on May 1st, they released a press release (link below) that includes the young Prince Adam synopsis and "initial draft written by David Callaham, and Aaron and Adam Nee" which means writer Chris Butler is doing a re-write versus taking a crack at a brand new script. So because it is a re-write and they kept the synopsis intact versus providing a vague He-Man vs Skeletor general synopsis makes me believe they are keeping the original framework of that narrative. Great episode! Everytime you start singing I know you are going to make me crack up! 😆 I like V and aways felt Independence Day was overrated except for the special effects but even the special effects feel old now. Besides I can't watch Will Smith anymore after he so rudely slapped Chris Rock. 😡
