Quite some explanations may be handy where from her purity is coming, yet most important is the integrity, one can feel just by being exposed to the song. Sincerity. There is only one serious caveat that I could see - it's that Salvador set very similar mark of quality for ESC song year before.
What, Hungary has an amazing song. Sure it's not for everyone, but first of all the song is definitely not "just screaming" and second of all, screams have such an emotional charge.

As for pronunciations, it's understandable that you can't say all these foreign names correctly, since you are an English speaker and English probably has the most messed up pronunciations, at least in the West (Which doesn't mean that people from other countries will always say them correctly, it's just easier to get it right). And people probably think that you apologise too much, since you're clearly trying and often say the name correctly and still apologise for getting it wrong afterwards. But, Ieva should be something like this: ee-eh-va, with short vowels.

If you have problem admitting yourself, that you got it wrong somewhere, leave it wrong in your mind, no problem. Yet I would advise to not go around telling it like this.

The problem is that Eurovision is not about songs anymore, it's about politics. The message behind the song wins, doesn't matter how bad that song is.
