Not related to lovestruck, but I’d love a build newcrest series! Is that cliche? Idk. Whenever I play there, I usually build my own house and then fill the rest with your houses from curb appeal. I assign them to my relatives and pretend I don’t need non residential lots. It would be so much fun to see you build a whole world ❤ But lovestruck related, yeah, love hotel! But not as in residential rental, love hotel where we could take sims on all those different types of date.

Some ideas: - Moonwood Mill: a werewolf runaway home that has been pieced together over time by young werewolves out on their own who have found a safe place together - Brindleton Bay: a seaside pet-friendly hotel designed for people who want to sail/fish/etc. with their pets - Evergreen Harbour: a luxury neighbourhood built out of shipping containers - Chestnut Ridge: the ultimate getaway for horseriding champions to improve their skills with their horses (maybe each unit could have a small stable attached? That'd be cute) - Willow Creek: a Mardi Gras festival space with a decorated apartment building (maybe could take inspo from a real New Orleans apartment) - Selvadorada: a hostel where tourists, archeologists, etc. come for exploration - Granite Falls: a cute summer camp for kids with cute little cabins and outdoor activities - Newcrest: an apartment building full of units designed for new families (like, families with young kids, newly married couples, etc.) - Tomarang: a small community with a lot of luscious communal spaces; could be taken in either like a sweet village who work together and support each other way, or something like a spiritual retreat that celebrities go to for clout lol - San Myshuno: an absolute luxury apartment building with a gorgeous view and huge units and a gorgeous penthouse. Like, each unit would be super expensive but some could be decorated very tastefully (you'd hardly even know they make millions), some could be like old-money, and one could be new money that is so lux it's almost tacky
I agree with separating the paintings, posters, an decals. I think it would also be nice to separate the plants a bit too, have big plants in their own cadagory, and small or table plants in another. I always struggle to find a small plant for the dining table

I wonder if you'd be down to do a multi unit lot for chestnut ridge, but include a stall for a horse. Like each person that lives there owns a horse as well so they need a stall.
For moonwood mill it would be cool making an old factory building renovated into apartments. Maybe more run down ones though and not fancy renovations.
I would have loved a bunk bed desk combo for the top floor, cause it would have saved so much space. Love how everything worked out in the end tho! Glad to have you back ❤

Moonwood Mill should DEF be a runaway/criminal hideout, in a building that seems abandoned, but houses some of the most notorious folk with weird pasts and things to hide!!!
Hi Ash, series Idea… every room Isa different restaurant… it could reach from more normal like Japanese-, beach- or maybe romance restaurants, stuff like eco/bio restaurants, dinners, pizza place, high end restaurants or more chaotic things like a alien restaurant or maybe one in a cave or underwater… 😊
Omg choosing the vibes and color scheme of the room from one item sounds like a great plan for a new series :O Maybe you could pick one object, randomize a number and use it to build and furnish a room or a house
I really glad you are going back to this series!!! I have a little crazy suggestion: I believe Newcrest is with all the empty lots but you can make different types of for rent style in each lot. Like town houses, apartment complex on the edge of the lots and in the middle, etc.
Im late to the "party" but i really do love this series! One of my fave series here on your channel. 😊 And i second your frustration with the current catalogue. It really needs a rework, especially with how many packs and kits we have gotten. Its been 10 years of dlcs, i think its long enough to rework the catalogue! 😅 Within the paintings, there should be framed and posters/decals, but also a separate one for the dirt, mold, scratches and cobwebs. The kitchen 'bowl' icon has the most random items in it like bedroom dividers, which imo should have its own category in the 'bedroom' layout. And so many more odd choices... We can only hope they look into that soon 😢
I love these apartments! I lived in an incredibly cheap apt and we used to park next to our kitchen window and pass groceries in. My sister used to go in that way when she forgot her key 😂. Glad no one ever tried to rob us, would've been super easy
it would be really cool if for chestnut ridge you did a proper ranch and the different units are just actually the ranch hands housing, like in yellowstone!

I totally agree!!! It is time the Sims team went through and updated some categories. Posters are so different from framed art. There are so many other categories that need updated. We also need a favorite button...BAD!!!
If I remember the pac I filter in case I have every pack yes flex lol I never use to I can be stubborn to just helps if you are looking for specific but I understand
I would kill to get custom cathegories back! It was such a game changer to be able to sort the items according to our own needs! I will never understand why they removed that feature in the sims 4 😭😭
I want more stuff and more swatches! I just think they need more categories in the catalog, like wall decals/posters vs art and maybe more ways to sort on the side where the colors and styles are. Sad thing is, swatches and UI updates wont make EA more money and they are the ones in charge.
