      Honestly might be the best fit for him because he won’t have to be forced to play center early on. Looking at what Cleveland is doing with Mobley, having him play at the 4 while the bigger more physical Jarrett Allen plays at the 5 is helping Mobley big time this season.
      With Chet, on the Spurs he can play 4 with Jokob at the 5 until he fills out his frame. A starting five of Jakob-Chet-Keldon-Vassell-Murray next season would be interesting.

      @victorakwaowo7998 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jeremyking9442 Sure he’s listed in starting lineups at the 3, but it’s not something that has really worked too well.
      The 3 player lineups that includes Allen-Lauri-Mobley has a -2.4 Net Rating. The lineup that has Mobley playing at the 4 & Allen at the 5 has a +0.2 Net Rating (Not crazy but still better). It’s better when Mobley plays at the 4, even if he starts as a SF.
      My whole point is that you don’t want Chet playing at the 5 in his rookie season, because he’s not built for that physicality yet. So that’s why it’s important for him to play next to a big 5 who’s mobile.

      No, as a Houston fan I'm done with the Rockets until our owner is GONE. Chet deserves a better team than the Rockets! Tilman is a peasant NBA owner, and he lied about going into the luxury tax if Houston was a contender. We seriously would have at least one title if his bullshit ass actually resigned good role players and used the MLE extension.
      It's embarrassing, he's the ONLY owner who avoids the luxury, literally every other team besides OKC is in the luxury now, and that's only because OKC is all rookie contracts. Before that, they had the highest payroll in the NBA.

    I am most impressed by the shot blocking. Even if he never becomes a great offensive player or rebounder, teams can always use a very tall guy with long arms who is quick enough to cover both sides of the key in help defense. He also blocks a lot of jumpers adding bonus value on perimeter defense. That round the back move to a dunk after a pin block and recovery on the other end reminded me of Anthony Davis in college.

    MAY THE HOLMGREN V. WEMBENYAMA rivalry begin…
    It could revitalize the league.
    The best battle since Bird & Magic.
    So many implications… (black/white, East/west. 2022 class/2023 class, potential MVP candidates etc)
    Hope the league got their eyes close on these two…

    Not convinced. On Numerous occasions in High School wasn't the best player on the court. Will be schooled/broken at the NBA level. Doesn't have the speed.
