No joke! I did doubles for FedEx for about 2 years and only saw about 5 guys who could save time by doing that. I would always ask them for tips but never had the patience to practice but a few times. Jedi level skills
The guy that was looking down and not paying attention to the road said to his boss “hey boss do I get a new truck now?” The boss says “well now that depends, if the next company that you work for gives you one “.
The truck off the overpass was on I-84 at the 216 exit. A 4-wheeler ran the stop sign and the driver tried to miss it running over the top of the guardrail. He was life flighted and didn't make it. Idiot in the 4-wheeler said he didn't see him. Stupid
I pull doubles. I have almost 30 years under my belt. I can’t back em more than 30’ without losing control of the kite. That dude putting the kite into the dock is a beast.
The description on a steer tire blowout is extremely inaccurate... The absolute worst speed to have a steer blowout is about 45 to 55mph... The best way to control a steer blowout is to accelerate, or use the trailer only brake... This lifts some weight off the steer axle, and also serves to help straighten out the truck... Once control is accomplished, one can decelerate, using the trailer brakes moderately, ease onto the shoulder, and bring the truck to a stop... The key is to act quickly before total loss of control...
No the scariest damn thing in a truck is to be on a dry road and the next thing you know your freaking truck is MOVED OVER 1 lane due to a wind gust. This happened to me in Montana while running team I was sleeping at the time I literally felt the truck leave the ground and then land hard in the next lane. My dad with 32 years EXP was white as a freaking ghost both hands in a death grip on the wheel. I said find the next TS and let's get a bite to eat. We were weighing 79900 at the time.
That’s right you have more bosses than you can think of!! We opened a donut shop EASY JOB , never worked so hard in my life!!! My husband would go in at ten at night to make the doughnuts then I went in at four to get coffee made filling the jelly filled pastries make sausage rolls and fill the display case then at five turn the lights on . Work until twelve sweep and mop the floors, clean out the display case ,wash all the trays, clear out the register,go to the bank then to Sams to buy supplies cokes ,coffee, and other supplies we needed finely get home around four in the afternoon!! That’s what it was like to not have any bosses. I know they say to never say never but I’m saying it now NEVER AGAIN,!!
6:45 Trucking schools and Mega Carriers, should teach everyone how to jackknife and not be afraid of jackknifing. Makes no sense why they do not teach any of that. I taught myself how to jackknife on purpose in the snow in a rail yard. One day when I was driving down a snowy hill, my trailer accidentally jackknifed because it lost traction. I wasn’t in panic mood and easily took control of the situation in a calmly matter. I was tapping on the fuel pedal to get the trailer back on track, and it worked just fine.
5:00 - WRONG! Semi's **ARE** allowed to use the 'passing' lane when traffic is being narrowed that pushes all vehicles to the left. What they are NOT allowed to do is use it when THAT is the lane being blocked. (among the many other violations committed by the driver) And I see semis use the far left lane on 285 pretty regularly regardless of traffic.
0:40 Facts! When I was working for myself for 2 years straight with my own truck, I ended up becoming a slave to my own truck, I had a shitty truck and I suspected that the mechanic I was leasing it from, was squeezing me out of every dollar.
Huh mustve been going slow he still had the wheel on and the spindle didn't snap off wheres that keyboard warrior that went full stupid when I saw there were no skid marks from tire or wheel last truck claiming to blow a steer tire who claims if your steer blows your spindle snaps everytime and i mustve been parked when mine blew and didn't snap a spindle
Oregon is the only place i know of that people can walk around completely naked like on the side walk right in front of your kids in the front yard ....as long as they don't step on to your property...it legal.......an they decriminalized meth .... who the hell does that...
For the clip at about 8:40, if someone has the link to the original I would appreciate posting it. As for his question: In Oregon, the age of consent is 18 years old: Anyone under 18 is legally unable to consent to sexual activity Sexual contact with someone under 18 may be charged as statutory rape There are some exceptions and defenses to this rule, including: The "Romeo and Juliet" defense If two people are both at least 15 years old and within three years of each other in age, they can use this defense to rebut the assumption that consent is invalid. The defendant must still prove that the sexual activity was consensual. Most police and prosecutors won't even charge this are a crime if the ages are within three years and is pretty obvious the younger (usually the girl) was a willing participant. Dad, my question is did you raise her right? And, if she was a willing participant, WHY do we always blame the boy? WHY do we assume that she didn't want it as much as him?
The guy talking about steers....thats truth. Yet many governed trucks fail to see that you shouldn't run up against your governor for said reasons. You blow a steer, you want some pedal. Keep pegging that truck and you blow one, you'll wish you had some pedal. Morons
The guy who went off into the ditch won’t be driving a truck or a car for life. Subaru has a monitor for new drivers making sure they are looking at the road maybe trucking companies should get that installed. The more of these vids I watch the more I can understand why some startup compnies will be using self driving trucks near the start of the 2030s.

The last driver in the red semi was a REAL truck driver. Pleasure watching his/her ability.
Impressive backing.

He's great! If he was in the Titanic engine room when they called: "engage the reversing gear", he probably could have saved it.👍
The guy that was looking down and not paying attention to the road said to his boss “hey boss do I get a new truck now?” The boss says “well now that depends, if the next company that you work for gives you one “.
The videos where people help others make my day. It's too easy to be judgemental and negative troll.
I hate the new format with the crappy music. It's been a fun couple years. Hope the best for you in the future.
What is with portrait view, it is terrible to watch.
Wow for the double trailer!

0:27 Ohhhhh. Look at the Kenworth's green devil eyes. I likes this sees creepy and good.

1:52 There is either 4 inches of ice, or there is black ice, it isn't both. Do you see the ice? If the answer is yes then it isn't black ice.
There's black ice on top of the 4 inches of ice. NOW WHAT.

3:30 What's with that explosion?

Very nice clips.
I have been seeing more and more truckers driving in the “1” lane. I hope they step up enforcement.
What the heck is wrong with this video???
Ohhh, it's still happening bad work days.

LANDSCAPE MODE PEOPLE!!
I back the double like that one time it was all luck It looks like that guy knows what he’s doing
Why is the vision for last one mirrored?

Human vision is landscape.
Portrait is for aliens and Tik Tok.
Hope the guy at 9:16 doesn't have to take a dump.
Bet he s sorry he looked down
👍
3:93 no info on the trucker, just says he was flown to a hospital.
