I remember Husqvarna winning world championships in the 70's , going to shit in the 80's ,...for about 30yrs . Then came back ( or the name did 🤷♂️) and won a SX championship. Time rolls on , things change , and sometimes what goes around ... comes around 🤔
These bikes are more than modern and fast enough for any regular Guy for the weekend Vet /Novice . Let’s get real unless you are Jett or Deegs level these bikes are fine . Only wish they still made 2 strokes.
So cool suzuki is offering the cheapest bike in 450 & 250 class with a pro circuit exhaust and all those choices in awesome graphics that's cool if you ask me. Pro circuit is the best too 🔥
Ate the shocks broken in? Cant really judge them until broken in. I wouldnt really mind the kickstarter, as long as it doesnt behave like the older fourstrokes.
Wow another year that they still come oversprung. They refuse to listen. A choice that would cost them nothing. Oh well I’d have suspension done anyways.
I have an '18. Great bike for the money($6,900 out the door in '18) for the weekend warrior types. Not everybody needs a $13K dirt bike but I have to admit, just electric start for the 50th anniversary and keep it under $9K in 2025 woulda been nice.
@@psychosneighbor1509 the Suzuki is 9k and you need to spend 3k on it to get it to work properly for moto ,even for a weekend warrior it makes no sense , why bother when you can get a new Honda or Yamaha for 10k ? Suzuki is so far behind it's not even funny anymore ,and it's a shame because they would sell out if they made a new engine with e-start and a new frame .
@Ranger_Dog311 They might be asking 9K but I guarantee you can shop around and wheel one out for $7,500 in 2025. And I think you're missing the point of a "weekend warrior". It could be trails this weekend and desert the next, and maybe moto the weekend after that. If you're spending 3K to get it to work right for moto you're obviously serious about moto and wouldn't buy the Zook to begin with like you said. I've still put about 1K into mine just for trail riding but that's stuff you'd have to do to any bike for trail riding so $6.9K + $1K = way better than $11K +$1K for what I need it to do. And I've been on the track with it too and I'll just say that the bike was the least of the problems. Holy f^*k I'm outta shape lol. It's nice to have a quality and affordable option is what I'm saying.
@@Ranger_Dog311no Suzuki is 9K unless you got ripped off. You can get them for $5k once they sit on the dealer floor for 6 months. I see 2 dealers near me that have them around $5k. You can also get the 450 for $5.5K once they sit. I know someone who bought 2 for $11k.
Vintage bikes , why waste all of our time , you couldnt give me one . The only reason they come with a Pro circuit pipe is there are some many left over from the last 10 years .
most things in this "vintage" RMZ are decade ahead than example modern Triumph. Frame tech, suspension example. Great bikes, super reliable and superb platform for building pro bike with minimal investing. How expensive is it to build your own Ken RMZ250 replica? If you find bargain RMZ and have personal suspension guru then probably it cost for you ca 12K. Who offer better platform?
@@aivorebane3050 yup you are correct. The so called new bikes have hardly changed except for being less reliable. Frames break now swing arms breaking and motors not lasting for more than 50hrs. People complain its heavy yet its only a few pounds heavier than the kawi. The difference in weight between the kawi and husky ktm is way more than the difference between the zook and kawi. People that rag on the zook have never ridden one and are just bitching for the sake of thinking they know what they are talking about.
Congratulations Suzuki on 50 years RM anniversary nice dirt bikes 👍🇬🇧👏
Celebrating the kick starter for 50 years And the 15th year of the 2009 model!!!
Cool
😂😂😂
Dang, graphics package is it for the new anniversary model huh??? Wow I used to love a Suzuki bike.

I LOVE THE 80'S LOOK SINCE I HAD A 84 RM 250
Great video . Looks like everyone had fun. Suzuki has made solid bikes the whole 50 years and I hope they go another 50
My favorite race bike growing up was my '73 TM 125.!! Thank You Suzuki for the fond memories!!
My first zuki was a '77 RM100B
I laugh at the kick start comments, like change your tampon 🐱, when your battery dies I’ll kickstart mine and go

Always enjoyed my Zooks 💪👏👏✌️😉
I wish they would bring out that iconic yellow they had in the early days! 😩

The 250 has better suspension than the 450. I guess it’s too keep the 450 price down.
Agreed 100%
great bikes.the fact that Roczen's race bikes are using mostly stock parts, its telling. They have tremendous value and potential
bad value and zero potential ,9,300 for a new rm450 versus 10k for a new Honda
@@Ranger_Dog311if ur patient u can get then foe 5.5k. I know a guy who knows a guy who bought 2 for 11k @ Temecula Motorsports a year ago.
This video was paid for by Suzuki. Every shootout shows they are by far dead last compared to every other bike. They are years behind the competition.

I wish Suzuki would make a x version of the 450
They had a rmz x with light nd électric start😅
TESTING BNG!!
QUESTION WHY ZERO CHANGES SINCE 2018 NO BUDGET?
It’s a pity that Suzuki doesn’t sell them like that in the Netherlands. We still have the standard version.
They mail you the pipe and graphics after you buy the bike.

Cool...but, update your bikes Suzuki. They are way behind.
Can't believe people still buy this dinosaur Suzuki still living in 2009

They are setting msrp at 9300.but they offer them at the dealer much much cheaper. They have to set the msrp at a certain price

You've obviously either never rode one or you're a spoiled punk. Or both. There are starving kids in Temecula that would probably kill for one.
