25mm nerf for jet was completely uncalled for. This is a nerf to skilled pilots and promotes pod spamming. Pod nerf to infantry would've made so much more sense imo.
POD spamming is ridiculously powerful. It completely kills any vehicles, which is such bullshit since neither the little bird pods nor the anti vehicles rocket pods of helicopters do that much damage. Not to mention how easy it is.
I used to use vtol with the 25mm. If your doing it right you could spray down an entire squad and leave before anyone has a chance to aa, but now you can hardly kill one guy. And it's not like you can be extra precise as the bullets all have a spread the longer you fire...kinda pointless nerf...
"Lowered magnetic effect of the Pondhawk when near the ground" Literally one of the best changes. I died so many times because of that magnetic effect, especially after the Pondhawk got nerfed a bit, taking more damage when colliding with the ground
a missed opportunity from dice was to make the skin for an engineer class since isaac clark (the main character from dead space) was an engineer not a recon
Honestly I just want the camera bug to be fixed again, if you die in a vehicle theres a good chance when you respawn in a vehicle your camera is stuck under the map.
I think this night bird change is fantastic from the sounds of it. It’s virtually impossible to use the miniguns on console unless you lower your sensitivity down very low but obviously that’s not good. It’s so responsive and had to align your crosshairs with the target but now it might actually be useful (for ps and Xbox). I might actually give it a go when this comes out
Wow this game is so visually less than other BF titles. Been playing a lot of BF5 and BF1 lately and those games look so much cleaner. They really missed the mark on this game in terms of visuals

Just as the developers don't "suddenly" realize that a new weapon / vehicle / gadget available in the Battlepass is under or overpowered, they don't realize, driven by feedback, that it would be smarter to keep a learned button mapping (Draugr). We are in the pre-alpha swamp of the next title and have only been volunteer testers since Season 6.
Another patch and the wild cat remains untouched. At least nerf the missile lock on range on that thing. It’s so OP against every air vehicle. It’s always just one person in a corner of the map spamming it. So boring.
I actually think if the smoothness for jump sliding could be replicated in games like COD and Xdefiant, I would play them more. BF2042 did SOME THINGS good. The game is getting better for sure. Just went 33-9 in my first game back since like update 5.
Why can’t they fix the issue when you die in or near a bush and cannot be revived? Also, if you die while charging the defibs, your movement speed upon respawn is the speed you walk while charging the defibs still. Only thing that fixes it is pulling out the defibs and charge them again.
25mm nerf for the jet cannons was so stupid, the only people who can even use them to kill infantry are skilled people. It was perfectly balanced the way it was. DICE just seems to love hurting the actual skilled players of their game.
I am mainly a heli nightbird pilot and this buff doesnt hurt me at all. Actually its a really great buff that balances the game. I remember in older games piloting was a lot harder and it felt pretty damn satisfying when you got the kills.
Piloting the little bird in BF4 was so much easier lol this nerf was UNNECESSARY at all, the night bird is a fast paced heli, lemme say it again, FAST PACED HELI
I will definitely try the new mode, but it sounds to me like dice is trying to copy CoD again. Don't know who wants that though. Edit: I used the sraw a lot in bf2, but Lis' TV Missile is a lot better, at least for me
I don't understand what DICE is trying to do, but they change an existing mechanic over and over again with each patch. You have to get used to a familiar mechanic again after every patch. You say you've gotten used to something, and then DICE changes it with a new patch. I haven't played the game for about 3 weeks, but I'm sure if I enter it now, I will encounter a different gameplay. And with the new patch, we will encounter an even more changed gameplay. Some of them may be necessary and good changes, but you also have to get used to many familiar mechanics all over again.
Yeah I do find it weird that they change things so late down the line, but I suppose they're setting the game up for the way it's going to be for the remainder of it's life-span.
Make the air vehicle not auto repair and make them go to spawn to rearm. Ridiculous they get unlimited ammo and healing. Ground vehicles should not rearm unless they leave their spawn. The tank camping in their base is stupid. But they want this game to be a hero shooter not a class based fps. I just uninstalled this game Im done with BF Ill play Battlefront as that looks so much better and the gun play and hit detection works consistently. Last 3 BF have sucked overall with some nice features. I also cant tell if there are hackers when I returned to this game a week ago. There are things I cant tell if they are luck or wall hacks and aimbot. With the hit detection still feeling poor i am suspicious.
i for one play sundance, zain, boris and sometimes casper, but limiting it one character wow, barely anyones gonna play this stupid game mode anyways lol, and you all know the change to the liz reload system is because of a certain night/little bird streamer being chased around by them lol

In a few words, it's a night bird erase from the game patch. With these changes night bird will be so ez target VS TV and all other missiles. And VS attack heli?? Will be instand death. Another one patch by untalented dice idiots for noobs from reddit.
A good change would be remove the cooldown for ammo crates and medical crates after use, battlefield 3 and battlefield 4 doesn't have cooldown for them its annoying to get healed from medical crate just to get shot again and having to wait for the cooldown thats why i like the medical pouch there's no cooldown.
Yeah that's just not how it works out in practice unfortunately, much as I'd like that. Most people just watch via their recommended videos these days and will never sub (I know because this happens to me too). I can show you analytics from when I never used to say anything, to where I started reminding people and the change was actually 200-300% more subs. Pretty insane.
So let me get this straight... They nerfed G84s a while back because they were too effective against air support. Now they nerf air support more, making it easier for G84s to kill them. Make it make sense...

They did nothing to fix the DirectX errors that constantly tank the game on PC. Done with Dice and EA.

They need to fix the bipod deployment in the XCE BAR after death you must switch it out completely before it'll redeploy

The hitboxes on minibird has been broken for a long time and they do not address it. Ridiculous.
