    • @peanutjellyman

      @@peanutjellyman Eli never really smoked his clutch though in supercross tho, he never had a smoking bike in supercross that i can remember unless it was a rain race which is different tho. Eli only smoke the clutch like once in nationals and it didn’t smoke and all it did was make him have to use lower gears, but i remember eli dominating RedBud and then bam his back just blows up lol and the back wheel is completely seized. But other than that i can’t remember eli blowing up a bike or dnf because of him using the clutch it was almost always the teams fault or just a freak mechanical problem.
      Anyways this Anderson thing is 100% self inflicted, right after the kenny debacle he has a smoking bike lol. It’s clearly coolant or oil but def not a loose radiator cap that’s for sure, unless it popped off but i doubt that. If it was just loose he would still be able to jump, and do the triple.

    Not a massive Anderson fan (I don't dislike him, I'm just not going to be cheering him on). That being said,he's been riding really well these first few rounds,he looks comfortable on the Kawi, unfortunately he was a victim of a mechanical that Tomac was all to familiar with during his time at kawi. The KX450F seems to have had the smoking problem too regularly over the years,and it's a shame. I truly believe he could have latched onto the back of Sexton. Tomac looked better than he has done,but still doesn't look to be at his best. It's going to be a real interesting season I believe!

      To me, an old MX guy from back in the days when we dominated the world for 13 years straight, these tracks that keep everybody the same speed are like those old vibrating football table games, where the players just vibrated around on the cardboard ice with one getting lucky to cross into the end zone first. I really have no interest is seeing the tracks keep everybody at a fast average, where nobody can develop better talent. If you have seen one rhythm section, (that controls speed like a pissed off cop), you have seen every race since the FIM invaded our sport.

      May be if the "powers that be" at Kawasaki would listen to the riders that actually race their bikes, there wouldn't be so many failures. Constant bickering over suspension issues was the real reason why Tomac left Kawasaki. When Davi Millsaps left Kawasaki he said, " Man, I don't know what's going on with this team."

    • @claterrberseker9340
      @claterrberseker9340 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @MX MIKE it’s more than just that, Tomac had so many problems with upper management… The first year Webb won his chip was the year Tomac was like on strike with Kawi, and then a week later the guy he had issues with (RV’s old machanic now team manager) literally left and retired lol. If they can burn out RV i can only imagine what they expected from a dominant Tomac. It’s crazy Mitch Payton and all those guys are even still there, they find fast riders and suck the life outta them and then get mad when they lose for 4 years straight till they find a replacement.
      RV has said indirectly that he was not having fun because of the guys at Kawi, and that’s why he went to Yamaha to be an ambassador and still keep ties with monster energy.. I honestly think Tomac wanted a team that just didn’t care about winning more than what he can do at the time, and he can keep his sponsors with like Oakley, ME, and A stars. Vs. Kawi who wanted him to probably win even the nights he got a 2nd or even 3rd place finish.
      PS. Wheelchair Mitch is a pos also, doesn’t help as much as they say they help their privateer riders. I’ve had springs break no replacement, had the carbon tip on PC exhaust fall off no replacement. All because of their shitty manufacturing also, everything was torqued correctly lol.

That is probably why he freaked out after bad start at Round 3. Go listen to the PulpMX PulpCast interview with JB10. LOL. He talks about how JB51 was just pinballing off everyone after a bad start. Barcia was just knocking everyone around, and Brayton was able to just follow Barcia through the carnage he created.
      The reality is, from a purely skill and physical ability stand point...Barcia probably could win a title. But he really is just a flawed and childish person. His character and lack of self awareness makes it impossible.
