Great interview. Kevin did a bit on a old comedy special where he imitates what women go thru when picking out a greeting card. Genius premise and still funny as hell.
I just finished binge watching The King of queens with my teenage daughter. She'd never really seen it and while I had I was happy to re watch the whole lot again. I really miss it. I've started watching The Crew.
Fuck the people in Texas, this is god punishing them for wanting to secede. Jk that's what a republican would say if it was a Democratic state, In reality I feel bad for Texas residents but they also are the ones who voted these incompetent fuck wads into office. Texas has been told since 1985 they need protect their power grid from winter storms and they refuse to do so to save money and now Texas residents are fucked.
Nextflix should pick up Lights Out as a 4 day a week , 60 minute show ( with more Tight 5's, or longer interviews on occasion) - It was becoming the new Carson's Couch Call-Over when a stand-up appeared doing a quick set , then a few weeks later made the panel.
As someone who abhors sitcoms, this show is genuinely funny, full of heart and completely entertaining. It reminds me of that show, 'Wings'. I fuggin love it! I binge watched it yesterday and I have no regrets 🍿❤️
I'm surprised they didn't show Adam and Kevin doing the "Gentlemen, start your engines" command at Michigan International Speedway, when Kevin was talking about it. I bet David would've laughed his butt off at that!

I LOVE Kevin but I wish he would get away from sitcoms already! I tried watching his new show on Netflix and I really wanted to like it but I just cant. I cant handle the overly used laugh track that tells me when I'm supposed to laugh. It killed the show for me and I literally had to turn it off because of it.
I LOVE King of Queens so I watched an episode.. you need a real funny actress (who can act!) to work opposite you instead of some of these plastic bimbos. edit: 16:38 I remember that bit from King of Queens!
Leah Remeni is the PERFECT scene partner opposite him! They are adorable together! One of my fave exchanges is when they’ve had words, then she caps it off as she exits... “and shave that mustache, cuz you look like a motorcycle cop.”
i've been boycotting james because he launched into a rant about gluten free food, it's a medical issue for so many, not a fussy diet, but i do miss him, i usually exit comedians who say hurtful things, because children have this disease, is it ok to make fun of kids without legs, etc
Love Kevin James, but the show is way off kilter for NASCAR fans. You have to have at least one, of not many, racing fans to make it believable. KJ has said, right out of the gate, that he's clueless about the sport, but he didn't need to tell racing fans. They already knew.
Get him a real show... this Crew, is horrible. Worst TV pablum formula I've seen in a while. Kevin and his pal were doing actual funny art during COVID lockdowns. Get him some real work.

Hey, I love Wings & started buying series dvds of it when I find it! I'm not a fan of 30 minute sitcoms usually but some are great.
