They have also added something big in conquest mode. Red circles appear when on the defense showing the direction they are coming from before the arrows actually appear to show their attacking direction.
I think the small arms and mortars/artillery pieces sound really quite nice but damn they desperately need to work on the tank and cannon sounds, they sound like a massive downgrade for the most part compared to the previous sounds they had
I think it sounds pretty good but some vehicles do seem to have lost some personality (eg 88mm) but the differences are there it’s just a bit more harder to notice now. I think will just take some time to get used too
Okay ya, sorry it’s me again, there is a lot of lackluster with these sounds. Explosions don’t pop, they don’t give me any sense of shellshock whatsoever, some gun sounds don’t have that hefty pop, I would hear from a realistic gun of that era, and that some sounds are just plain getting cut off. The cause and effect are just not there, some gun sounds that I hear I would expect to be hit with a toy chicken, not a 45mm HE round.
@@mariobrkic4263 the SIG33 sounds cutoff, the impact from the SIG33 round sounds lackluster, the 45mm gun from the BT sounds lackluster, it’s about on par with rifle shots…
@@eajjoutlaw i had no idea but non the less i think they are gonna fix it, i have been playing this game for about 2 years and they have proved that if there is a bug or problem they are gonna fix it its just metter of time. But the new sound for atriliery, heavy tanks and 20mm guns are amazing
sherman has played this mission like 5 times on his channel :D Very Last german mission (Final offensive) would have been cool to see as that has a lot of tanks and cannon firing especially at the start. It's all the latewar goodness too!

The game improved its soundtrack with different distances or whether you are inside or outside a tank, but with the current update, the sound of many tanks sound less powerful, such as the panther, asusf panzers, etc; I think the previous gunshot sounds sounded great besides their engines that felt like they were deafening, which I really liked. greetings commanders =) El juego mejoró su banda sonora con diferentes distancias o si estás dentro o fuera de un tanque, pero con la actualización actual el sonido de muchos tanques suena menos potente, como el panther, asusf panzers, etc; Creo que los sonidos de los disparos anteriores sonaron geniales además de los motores que parecían ensordecedores, lo cual me gustó mucho. saludos comandantes =)
I'm not saying the new sounds are bad, but I can't really understand why the audio in this game has received so many revisions. It was great when it launched, and constantly changing it is just getting annoying when you have to relearn what weapons sound like what.
While AI is still dumb with targeting and your mortars / artillery drop on your own units if not micromanaged, there is a real disconnect between nice to have and needed badly with these devs. But at least when your own mortar drops one of your squads it will sound cool.
The small arms absolutely needed work. In the vanilla version it sounded like the very first CoD game. As for the heavy weapons, the community seems to be split between liking the new sounds or being disappointed. Personally I think the autocannons in particular sound much better now, and hearing the rounds actually flying through the air is great.

Cool sounds, although, the whistling of the rounds going through the air and coming back down feels wrong. You should only hear the whistling moments before it hits the ground, right? Not the entire time the round is going up and down, just a small detail that’s kinda eh. Every clip from Ukraine of artillery coming down it’s a split second of the whistling then the round is hitting the ground. Not “weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee BOOM” But “WEEE-BOOM”
Mmhh i have very mixed feelings about the second sound rework for the cannons and tanks :( They sound very underwhelming to be honest, now sounds lack punch like in CoH 3 in comparison to previous CoH games.
The new Mortar sounds when they land are awful. The old sounds were so much more punchy and realistic. and what the F, The Flack 88 DOES NOTHING. THE AUDIO IS GONE. What did they DO????? Just listen to it, ITS GONE!

Played a while yesterday and the changes are pretty awesome. The MG sounds bring me back to life as an 0331!
Ha I only fired some smaller stuff like M1 Garand, MP40 and an AK, cant imagine shooting a MG!

@@thescotsman9825 Dropping mortars on your own troops sounds like a leadership failure, probably shouldn't lob mortars where your troops are boss.
