With all the gardens and the animals and other things your doing do you ever find time to sleep and eat. It's wonderful watching and listening to everything you have going on. Thank you for brightening each day. ❤
What a relaxing and enjoyable experience to watch you give us a wonderful tour of your beautiful gardens and teach us so many new things about plants. ☺️🌻
I love the island garden the best...for now. The Azalea bush and the Rhododendron are definitely at their best. The candy corn flower is beautiful, too. So many varieties of Irises! I had fun watching Pup... I was wondering what he was up to myself. Poor baby, you work him so hard 😂. Stop saying ooooh geyser because you make me chuckle every time. I never knew what volunteer in gardening sense was. You've got a lot of them Heck, who wouldn't want to live in your gardens. I'd volunteer 🙋♀️ myself if I could ! Thanks, Cody and pup. I'm looking forward to those peonies...love them.
Lovely gardens indeed ..looks like u n ur family put a lot of thought in planning , and hard work in making them come alive great job !! mumbles, echo and all the other animals on the farm are living the dream !
I can't believe it's the May tour already!! You have so many blooms! Just gorgeous!! I love your hostas! You have so many kinds!! I'm just amazed at how all the names of the flowers just roll off your tongue!! 😯 You have a big variety! I was going to ask if you've ever kept bees for honey, but when would you have time!! 😂 You do work a full time job, also, right!? Thanks for the lovely tour! I enjoyed it! 💕
Everything is so beautiful. The greens, colors and trees are beautiful! Love the deep purple iris! The rhododendron are gorgeous. Thanks so much for the tour! ❤
WOW! Those gardens could be a full time job... glad you keep reminding yourself and us "It's a process". Love that you mention the geyser whenever it goes off. Makes me smile every time
The one iris you have by the vegetable garden on the outside is a leopard iris. I have some and they are purple with the cool leopard print on the inside. Beautiful gardens as always, Cody! 🌼🌷
you are right if you get the seeds before they get in the ground it will be so much simplier, but the seeds are what causes some of the problem with other plabnts because of the roots from the seeds, ive had the same issue with my five acres, and the yard had a seed i could not get out, and probably wont get out. i had that house for almost ten years and tried everything.. they are a pain
Great tour! I don't think I could pick a favorite, but I really liked the bright orange Iris. The dark purple/black Iris is beautiful as well. It's all lovely. Our clematis didn't bloom to its full potential this year. We found that it was being strangled by some kind of vining weed. We took care of it. I took am severely allergic to poison ivy so I know your pain...and hesitancy being anywhere near it. I always joke that I just have to look at poison ivy and I'll get it.
I'm a city girl. If I got to go to a farm with animals, the only time you would see me is to eat, get myself check for ticks and I'd be gone again. 😊😊😊😊😊
@@WhittAcres Not familiar with that so I just looked it up. Nasty stuff! It may be too dry to grow out here. Only the strong (plants) survive here on the high prairie!
Im in Washington state,,,, scotch broom is a invasive weed here,,,, the pollen is terrible in the spring... if you have allergies dont let that plant spread..... they will start growing all over your property from the amount of pollen they spread..... Just a heads up, Cody......

It all looks amazing.
Thanks!
The gander could be called BOSS maybe he'll protect the ducks and Mumbles
The garden is amazing i dont know how you get the time to keep on top of it all.. Its beautiful 👏🐥
Me neither really
Beautiful garden, Cody. Great job.🏆 The brownish issue might be bark beetle, hopefully not🤞
Awesome garden!

Neighbor's oak tree looks like a Q tip.
We had a mild winter in North Carolina too! No snow
Hey Cody, Chris from Wyoming here. I think the mystery weed at 7:45 might be a Milkweed... but maybe not. 😊 Monarch butterflies love them.
Unfortunately it's Indian hemp, I do have some butterfly weed in the side garden though it'll bloom later
@@WhittAcres Not familiar with that so I just looked it up. Nasty stuff! It may be too dry to grow out here. Only the strong (plants) survive here on the high prairie!
Cody, can you tell us when you got interested in Gardening and how? I love gardening but it’s not always easy.
I always plan to make some videos with some get to know me answers but so much other stuff comes up. I'll do what about that soon!
Looks great ... Do either of your parents like gardening???
My dad likes to when he has time and my mom just likes to look at them
Cody... what is the tree to the left of the wooden garden gate please?
(It kind of reminds me of a weeping willow)
Thanks 😊
It is a Weeping Alaskan Cedar

Thanks, we've had them for over 10 years and can't keep them alive let alone have them spreading
I'm going to retire now
