My God, You Are A Brainiac I Love It. To Have So Much Wisdom On Human Nature And Love For Flowers And Plants And God's Way Of Growing Them. Very Impressive Thank You For Sharing, I Am So Glad I Found You Here. Keep It Up You Are Much Appreciated,👋👍
I'm so curious about your educational background. Listening to you talk makes me think that you did not learn all you know from just "puttering" around the garden. Thank you and Pup so much for the tour!!🌽🥔🏵🌹🌻🥀
First of all I can’t believe the temperature, 90 degrees 😮. I can seriously see how much work you have to do there, but the way the flower beds and plants have been planted, or seeded themselves, looks so beautiful. The sunflowers are just amazing ! It’s so inspiring that you work in a way that allows nature to be at its best possible, both with your planting, your pond and your animals. Honestly Cody, what an inspiration you are. The world needs more people like you❤ Thank you ❤
@@WhittAcresHave you tried to let couple of chicken near the pumpkins for a few minutes so they may eat those beetles? I seen some farmers release their ducks in their tree farm to eat slugs. I love how they do this to lower the volume of pesticides.
I'm new to this channel (I have been following the homestead channel for awhile. I love the garden tours. It amazed me the amount of work that Cody does on the homestead and still works a day job! 🐖🐐🦃🐓🐔🦆🦢 and can't forget Echo pup!!
What a beautiful setup you have! Great variety. I am really impressed that you know the names of everything! ❤️ Lilies are my favorite. You are quite the inspiration, Cody!! I stumbled on your channels recently, and I love watching your videos - both the gardening and all the animals ❤
Everything is looking beautiful ❤ At the end, I thought "The Birds, the Bees, and the Pumpkin Pollinating." Sounds like a class I had to take in school😂
Wow, that was quite an educational tour of your garden. All those years of hardwork and dedication to gardening is paid off by how gorgeous your plants bloom. With your animals, your home is trully like a paradise❤ I think I lost track by how many kinds of plants and trees you have, but I definitely love the blue and purple blooms! Blue butterfly pea, torenia, aster, and petunias also have blue blooms that you might want to add on your garden
Beautiful garden! Thanks for the tour. I love when volunteers come up… I actually have a volunteer watermelon. It looks really healthy. Praying that you get some rain. We’re fortunate to be getting quite a bit here in the desert lately. You need a lot to fill up the pond.
I want to thank you for all the wild flowers and the Bees thank you 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 most important in the world thanks you for keeping the happy bees 🐝 The world 🌎🌕tonight July 21,2024 😊
Love all these ideas for perennials. I have that ground cover you indicated with the red/green striations and white flowers. It is a serious spreader in my sandy soil. When I tame them back it has a strange smell that I don’t appreciate. That said, it does look good and grows well so I leave it to its space. I grabbed a sprig from a friend so I don’t really know what it’s called.
I just got such pleasure from seeing your beautiful gardens. I been catching up on your animal videos. Now I will look forward to catching up on this channel!
Do you have a lilac bush? Anywhere? Honeysuckle, for your trellis on the porch? Have you ever grown cucamelons? I've never had them. People say that they taste like a cucumber with a hint of citrus. I can't eat them because I'm allergic to cucumbers. Everything is absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't expect anything less from you, Cody ❤️
Yes there are a bunch of lilac but they are getting enough sun to bloom well, I've grown the cucamelons and they were a nice snack in the garden during hot days
Loved the garden tour. Growing a giant pumpkin is a science. The pond bank looks great, I love the falls. The Pergola is growing well, and if that's one month ago, I hope that the gourds have grown somewhat and are filling out the Pergola. Seeing all the fruits and vegetables that you're growing, adding the eggs and meat, I'd say you do have a paradise growing. Thanks Cody, It was a pleasure to watch.
You taught me the name of a plant my aunt gave my family, but we never knew what it actually was 😊 comes back faithfully every year. Our clematis got choked out by a vine weed so it didn't bloom well this year. But we got those vines our so hopefully it recovers for next year. Love hibiscus! I have a decent size ipper arm/shoulder tattoo showcasing the beautiful hibiscus and plumeria flowers ❤️ How amazing to see a tree grow from a seed ❤
I enjoy your garden tours! It's frustrating to not get enough rain.😢 Especially with as many plants as you have. They all look great right now tho! Sunflowers & Day Lillies are my favorites! Happy insects!! 🙂 It sure makes a difference where you plant things...I'm learning!! 😉 I've never heard so much about pumpkins!! 😂 I love it!! Your excitement makes me really interested! Thanks for a good garden tour! 💕
Does the toxicity of several asiatic lilies concern you with the animals? Love your videos, animals and gardens. Best wishes and much love from Texas to you and Echo. 🥰
I love the gardens i like to plant flowers and raise a veg garden. I just planted a snowball this year i hope it makes it, but im terrible with plant names lol I did pick my mulberry tree this year for the chickens :)
I'm not sure if they grow well in your area but have you tried Drift Rose's? They are a low growing ground cover that grow wild along roads and even highways, so very low maintenance needs! I've seen them in red, pink and white but I don't know if they have other colors. They are very easy to propagate and I have pulled the car over and pulled up a few shoots and long branches that I rooted out in cups of water. Morning Glories and Moon Flowers are really easy vines to start from seed and grow quickly. I like to plant them together so just as the morning Glories are closing for the day the Moon flowers are opening for the night. They will drop seed and reseed themselves until the frost kills them.
Yes but I have problems with roses all the time. And yes there are volunteers of MG still popping up in the front garden. Each year the gardens change though which makes it interesting.
Everything looks just great, even in this heat. I have chameleon ground cover and honestly it is taking over my property. Very hard to keep it under control. It spread to many of our flower beds. It is pretty when it blooms, though.
I am a maze this is the first time I watched the garden tour, you know a lot about plants and flowers I’m gonna rewatch this with close caption so I can learn too!! Polynesian having never heard of it nope the bees love it
They're so awesome for blueberry muffins ❤😊

That temperature isn't that much, it's the equivalent of 32⁰ celsius, 🤔🤔.
I love giant sunflowers. So majestic! Queens of the garden. Beauiful garden thanks for sharing.
Do you like Crepe Myrtles? They are such nice pretty trees.
Yes they're beautiful, I have three

My favourite, snapdragons, bees are always busy pollinating.
Sasafrass, can you make saspirilla with it?
Thirsty garden
Maybe, that's where it comes from!
I have chameleon ground cover and i love it. If you crush the leaves it smells like fruit punch.
Interesting!
