Just curious about your 966 what problem was you having has it been pretty reliable, is it running the D414 engine I am looking at one for myself so just curious with you view on that tractor ,I had good luck with the Dt436 engine I had in my hydro 100
When we bought it, it had a lot of issues. Just little things that kept coming up on it. The main problem though was scored main bearings. A previous owner had done some clutch work but messed up the alignments with some things when he put it back together and it affected some things in the engine. I did a whole video on the things we had done to it but the tractor runs great now! It has the d414. Great power and good running engine
Nice video! Being on fourth cutting is impressive. I hear you on all of those conundrums about weather and trying to dry the late season tricky hay. I don’t envy having alfalfa in the mix, adding leaf shatter risk to the equation sounds exhausting. Thanks for the warning about the thrower bearing! I’ve got the same #70 on my baler, good to watch out for!
Great video Jake.
