i woudnt worry about the rear main on the case unless it gets significantly worse on older engines you can replace the rear main and it will start leaking again a short time after. especially if that is a rope seal

I just started selling small square hay and straw next year i plan to purchase a tubeline bale acumulator and use grabs currently we are stacking on wagons and unloading by hand

Shut off the baler,go to a higher gear get your wagon and start again,now someone has to pick up those bales- and it probably not you

What is that you poured into that box on the back center of the baler?

Looks like to me the pickup slip clutch needs attention

Just make sure you get them picked up before the rain hits

If you don't mind, let's look in scripture in the Bible to see when the day of rest is. See Gen.2:2-3 The Lord rested on the seventh day of the week. And in the book of Ex.16:19-30 the Lord feed the children of Israel just enough for each day for five days, and then on the sixth day the Lord gave the children of Israel twice as much, so they wouldn't be out working on the seventh day of the week. And in the book of Ex.20:8-11 the Lord commanded to keep the Sabbath day and keep it Holy, for six days thou shalt work and rest the seventh day, because the seventh day was the only day the lord hollowed. See Lev.19:3; Lev.26:2. Now let's go to the book of Matthew 12:8-9 Jesus said, For the son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day. Notice Jesus does not mention anything about Sunday the first day of the week here. It says the same thing in Luke 6:5-6. See Mark 2:23-28; Luke 4:16 Jesus went to the synagogue on the Sabbath days as it was his custom. See Luke 23:54-56 They kept the Sabbath day before they went to the tomb were Jesus was buried on Sunday the first day of the week. And even in the book of Acts 13:41-44 even the Gentiles kept the Sabbath day in this passage. Now see Eze.20:13,16; Eze.23:30 in these Passages it talks about polluting the Sabbaths. And in the book of Matthew 12:5 Jesus said that the priest profane the Sabbath. So Jesus said that he was the Lord of the Sabbath day. So who is the lord of Sunday the first day of the week? And according to church history, it was Constantine who first changed the Sabbath day from the seventh day of the week, to Sunday the first day of the week. ( 321AD). And then in ( 630AD) the catholic church changed the Sabbath day, from the seventh day of the week, to Sunday the first day of the week. And the catholic church changed the Sabbath day again in the 1800s and then again in the 1920s, and again in 1967, and then again in 2015 when Barack Obama signed it into law along with the Affordable Care Act. And please, don't say that I am a seventh day Adventist, because then you would be wrong. Sense you brought up the day of rest.

My very first paying job in 73'. Watched a many pass out on the top teir in the barn at 98 degrees. I earned every bit of that $5 an hour.

Lots of wasted horsepower for a little baler doing straw. But a beautiful classic tractor. Great, Reliable machines if cared and serviced well.

Man, the frustration of hay you think is ready, only to find the bales coming out too high moisture. Such an exhausting feeling - I sympathize! Promised sun that turns cloudy is happening more than it used to, it seems…

'$5 a bale, nothing too crazy' How I wish I could move mine at that price right now. Around here, people have been flooding the market with hay priced at $2/bale. Most of what I've sold so far is some alfalfa/orchard grass mix that I priced at $2/bale only due to it getting an inch of rain 3 days after I mowed it.
