You’re right. Leave your worries behind. I went on a 2 day trip in June on new lo-an for fathers day. Nobody caught fish but I was still happy for the experience. I’m not giving up. This is fun! The people are great as deckhand captain and anglers.

I totally agree the star drag is better for the plunker bite. The bait just swims much easier than the star drag. I have the Torium 20 that I can switch the flouro leader fast. My MXL just didn’t cut it so I bought the Torium.

I’m hoping to get out next Wednesday. Hope the weather reports are accurate.

I was leaning towards the Talica but for the price of the Torium I could get a rod so I bought a Seeker SSR 8030. Not bad plunker bite set up I think and I caught fish. That nighttime jigging really puts the hurt on this 71 year old guy.

I like the you framed the Tail. Did you have someone do it for you ? I’d like to do the same for some tails I saved also. Thanks in advance 👍🏼

I was looking at this reel in a smaller size for my slow pitch setup

I like the star drag reels. What brand rod and size will you put that reel on?

  • @nolanoshiro2083

did you get rid of the trinidad 16n?? as a whole the baitcasters are only a great choice for poppers or school size (not bluefin schools up to over 50 lbs unless tranx 500).

Pare Andrew. Greetings. You think July 3-5 1.5 day next year is good days for tuna?
