Nugget was hand raised in a home with his original family. He was gifted to MaryCarl when Cog Hill looked around for a Emu. Pretty sure the old videos can still be seen. Nugget looked like a little fawn to me, & he was spotted if I remember correctly.
Yes we don't get to see much of her side of the place. But know she has a Paradise to enjoy her Life in too.. I hope after they get the back done with the Gazebo we would get some more views??
Brooke, this was such a fun video! Thank you! You have no idea how much all of the Cog Hill videos have helped me this year. Sending love and best wishes ❤.
Im 77 and have always loved frogs. The frogs have taken up residence in my porch pots. Come out dusk to dawn. Help's mosquito and bug population 👍 Thanks for sharing your beautiful pond life. 🙏🫶♥️🙏🫶
I had to laugh out loud at Brooke's reaction when that little frog nabbed a bug! LOL! It certainly is true that EVERY critter at Cog Hill Farm is appreciated, even the littlest frog! 🐸🐸🐸
I think the egret wants to live at Cog Hill Farm and receive the love that you and Jason show to every animal. All animals seem drawn to the love that lives at Cog Hill. Brooke the night walk was amazing looking at your beautiful pond and the wildlife that is making it home. That little frog waiting for his dinner brilliant. Be proud of making this pond Jason and Brooke you are both amazing people ❤
I was born and raised in NYC, but still think of things in my neighborhood that I used to do. Times have changed so I don't know how quiet the neighborhood is now.
The tree frogs are so darned cute!! I have fond memories of childhood in Vermont, hearing the tree frogs singing in the woods beyond the cow pastures, and the bullfrogs' deep croaking in the beaver pond way down the steep hillside in the swampland below. Thank you so much for giving this old lady a fond memory. xx
Hello Brooke, I love the video. Your content is always interesting with refreshing positivity. The harvest Moon over the lake illuminating the white ducks is beautiful and relaxing. Your Mom has a dreamy view from her porch. ❤️
The pond has become such a peaceful spot. It is totally cool that a snow egret has found a home. Thank you for a beautiful video. Nugget is a star. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I bet that egret senses the love security and care every animal receives on Cog Hill Farm and said to himself I think I need to stay here and be apart of this family ❤❤❤
At night 🌙 when the moon is bright and beautiful 😍. I love to just sit outside and enjoy the sound of frogs and crickets. I think that is a beautiful sound ❤❤❤😂
I had to giggle, when you were headed for the overgrowth, after petting Nugget, he was fixing his feathers…he was like she messed up my tail feathers 😂 so cute.
You could put the goats in there to clean it up. You should plant some native grasses around the pond or cover crops they will improve water retention.
I've always dreamed of owning my own farm machinery, and I recently bought three. Earn ing $ 32k biweekly has helped me in my farm and also give back to the local community and support charities.😊
After I raised up to 525k trading with her I bought a new House and a car here in the states 🇺🇸🇺🇸and also paid for my son's surgery (Oscar). Glory to God.shalom.
I've always wanted to be involved for a long time but the volatility in the price has been very confusing to me. Although I have watched a lot of TH-cam videos about it but I still find it hard to understand.
I think you should leave the overgrowth because it will help clear your pond. I wish it was growing on the dam. Your pond is beautiful. I have a smaller pond with lots of frogs too which attracts great blue herons, ducks, red winged black birds, wood ducks, etc. The trees and bushes really help with the erosion into the pond.
I loved seeing the baby ducks and especially the frogs. I love hearing frogs. The geese are so pretty and also the egret. Love you all and all your videos. God bless!
You are so blessed to have beautiful little frogs...When I moved to my home many, many years ago, I had so many of them on my patio door...and now that the small town has grown, the spraying of insecticides for bugs, the power towers, and the environment improvements, has caused them to disappear...I rarely ever see one frog anymore...and another thing that I am missing, are the precious little lizards...so sad!
I think Nugget is Nugget partly because he is who he is but mostly because of the love and attention you all share with him. Animals that get as much love as you all have for all your animals thrive and become special. They share the love right back with their humans. Your family makes them feel safe and loved and that is special.
Thank you Brooke for the walk a bout. I love seeing the Mom Mallard with all those cute babies. It is such a neat thing the frogs catching bugs under your Mom's light. It's super cool. The Harvest Moon reminds me of God's Glory. It is bright and lights up the night sky beautifully. You have a plus in your pond with the Snowy Egret to keep down the frog population. Thank you again. ❤❤❤
It appears the egret sensed a safe environment and happy animals. He decided to hang-out and enjoy the paradise Brooke and Jason created. Makes sense to me.
Thanks for sharing brooke! Its so neat to see the green frogs eating in person. I think they are the prettiest frogs of frogs 😂. Beautiful moon also it has been so bright the past few nights.
That was really nice, Brooke! Enjoyed seeing the night critters and the beautiful moonlit pond. The baby ducks are adorable skittering across the water.
Try some goats on that slope at the pond. You could train the new wethers to wear collars and let them trim on fence lines and pasture corners as well. Just stake them out and a give them water bucket. Gives them a job! Just a thought! :-)
Great educational video Brooke !! I love the love Nugget takes in from you and Jason , he just takes it all in ! Love seeing the geese and ducks on the pond , and the babies are adorable! I’m with Jason…. Brooke that hill is to steep to be on with a tractor, sideways or backwards… very dangerous!!! Get a blade for a weed eater would be safer ! The Egret is enjoying its buffet!! Lol
Your intro picture of night time and 'head light' led me to think that you might be going "frog gigging" at your pond ! Don't do that yet. Good 'frog legs' need several years to grow to reach maturity for food quality ! I did that up in Ochiltree County along Wolf Creek, when I was a kid. We would sit very quietly in two person row boats, wearing head lamps and holding "gigging spears " to catch the frogs. We would put the caught frogs into a gunny sack; the sack left in the refrigerator until morning when the frogs were dispatched, legs cleaned and fried 'n' served for breakfast with homemade biscuits and chicken gravy. (Thanks for stimulatin' that treasured memory !) Thank you for the " night time adventure/ exploration walk" ! I sat in my rockin' chair on my driveway two nights ago to watch the partial lunar eclipse. It had been cloudy, but the clouds parted to allow me to watch the 'partial eclipse'; it was a beautiful event. BLESSINGS to you 'n' your family.
😂 we used to go frog giggin' all the time as a kid. We'd go night fishin' for catfish too. Most times ended up falling asleep on the bank. So fun! And wonderful memories.
I can’t believe he didn’t peck your earrings!
I was thinking the same thing!
I was cautiously waiting for that, too
@@julieagain me too!
I was waiting!
Your egret is bellying up to the frog bar. 😂
Frogs and/or minnows!
Nugget is the way he is because of the gentleness and love you all give all your animals.
Yep, after all look how gentle Goldie is becoming with you too.

Frog and the lizards help keep pests at bay around my home.
I’m in my 70’s also and I’ve always loved frogs! Where I live I have mostly Alligator lizards which I also love. Sure wish I had more frogs!

Nugget is such a good counselor…..you can tell him all of your secrets and you will be safe.
Growing up in the country, you have many fond memories . Later in life you realize how blessed you were. Thank you mom and dad and especially God❤
I was born and raised in NYC, but still think of things in my neighborhood that I used to do. Times have changed so I don't know how quiet the neighborhood is now.
Loved the conversation with Nugget..he was listening 😊
I 100% loved this episode!!!
