    Alpina are NOT a tuning company they are an independent manufacturer!

      Poor choice of words by us, but you are correct. We talk more in-depth about Alpina in our full written review.

      “Alpina works closely with BMW and their processes are integrated into BMW's production lines, thus Alpina is recognized by the German Ministry of Transport as an automobile manufacturer, in contrast to other performance specialists which are aftermarket tuners. For instance, the Alpina B7 is produced at the same assembly line in Dingolfing, Germany (BMW Plant Dingolfing), as BMW's own 7 Series. The B7's twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 is assembled by hand at Alpina's facility in Buchloe, Germany, before being shipped to BMW for installation, and the assembled vehicle is then sent back to Alpina for finishing touches.”
      Still a decent review though.

      If it's an own manufacturing company why are they manufacturing cars that are from a different company ie BMW!!!!

    Alpina cars are also Limited Edition. Very Very Limited production numbers. Around 1000 to be exact.

      So why do they depreciate so bad?

    • @SamGamgee8012
      @SamGamgee8012 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@user-xw4vg1vy5e Nobody knows what they are and people think it just a aftermarket tuned BMW ... journalists calling it a "tuned BMW" don't help. Actually the depreciation isn't worse than a regular 7-series, but it should be a lot better considering how special they are.

    • @BMWPOWERoverboost
      @BMWPOWERoverboost 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      limited ONLY to the amount of people who are willing to buy. They don't put numbers on it they just call it out at the end of the year so its not a limited edition car…..

    • @ReginalBronson
      @ReginalBronson 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BMWPOWERoverboost not true. They only make Limited Numbers period. 800 to 1000. That's it.

    This is the best looking 7er ever and I’m not a fan of modern cars. It is beautiful and an Alpina which gives you BMW M but with genuine royal level of comfort and styling. This is RUF level of car but in BMW flavor. Only thing I’d change is interior color to a caramel from the E39 M5 or a tobacco dark brown. I’d like to see the iconic Alpina livery panted down the sides too in a semi stealth color to be there but not shout.

  • @MrJoe750li

    You just said that the Alpina cars depreciate fast you’re smoking crack no they do not !! They hold their value longer than a regular BMW and that’s a fact !!! 🙄🙄

      Most automakers are going to AWD because consumers want better 0-60 times and it helps sell to more markets.

      M5 has the option.. You can have it in XDrive or hit the button and straight rear wheel…. I drove the Competition and hitting that M button taking off the all wheel is insane. A total rocket ship!

    BMW's are too expensive to maintain, this car will be junked in 10 years or less due to tens of thousands in repair bills for over priced parts and under developed valve stem seals. Germany is bankrupt, BMW is over engineered crap that works for a while then falls apart like an British made car. You don't see old BMWs on the road.
