    Three friends and me used to drive from The West Midlands to camp most weekends in the farmers field about one hundred yards from the base of those falls way back in the early 70's when I was about eighteen. The only thing there then was a small car park and a grotty old toilet block that hadn't been cleaned in years. Back then you didn't pay for either. We used to pay the farmer 25 pence per tent, per night to set up our camp and over an entire weekend it would be unusual to see more that a couple of people. We used to go for a pint or two in The Three Tuns in the village of Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant and hang out with a couple of local girls who's names now escape me. Thanks for the video it sparked some wonderful memories from 50 years ago.

    Hi Brendan, That was just stunning! When you went close to the edge, I almost closed my eyes I can't handle heights either, but it truly is breathtaking! Loved the views from the bottom, really a majestic waterfall! This was an absolutely wonderful video! Nice to see Matt again. Thank you so much for sharing, take really good care, stay safe! Please give Mika a cuddle for me! 💖 Much love Kathy x

      Thank you Kathy and the edge got me feeling a bit of vertigo as well... I won't be doing that again in a hurry 😂. Beautiful spot thought and I'm glad you enjoyed watching. Thanks for your continued support 👍

    Incredible valley at the look off and a great looking hike. The waterfall was incredible, looked super steep at the top. 80m is a really big one. Great drone shots too, btw

    Love your videos Brendan, I broke my ankle walking along the river at Preston Boats so your walks have allowed me to see the wonderful countryside this summer. I haven’t visited Pistyll Rhaeadr so this one is definitely on my to do list once I have recovered!

      @BrendanExplores  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You could have done more research on line on your pronounciation before filming. It's not difficult to do a bit of space work first.

    • @BrendanExplores
      @BrendanExplores  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I could of... But I didn't. I think sometimes that's part of the fun 👍. Atleast it is for me. I don't profess to be factually accurate, just share a bit of positivity 🙂
