What type of timber are you using for the wall framing? Can you use foam board insulation glued to or attached to the curtain walls and then frame over the foam board, so that the insulation is continuous? If using 2x4 studs, can they be placed with the 4” side of the stud being against the wall instead of on its side? That way you are preserving more space inside.
