- Another Day in the Life of a Doctor vlog! Currently i'm on my rheumatology rotation, which means I do a combination of clinics (outpatient) and hospital work (inpatients). This video I'm vlogging in the hospital but I'll also try to show you what clinic is like this rotation!
I'm also going to show you the OTHER things I have to do in a day... like research, teaching medical students and studying! There's a lot more to a day in the life of a doctor than just in the hospital!

Especially loved this vlog. As a woman with several autoimmune diseases; yes, including lupus (SLE), it’s refreshing when others are educated about rheumatology and autoimmune diseases, in general.
My mother passed away last year from complications with Lupus. I wish people were more aware about what Lupus does to ones body. I enjoy watching your videos and thank you for sharing your experiences! :)
Another great video Siobhan! Love how you are involved in teaching medical students. Typical physician/residency day can be pretty mundane and you did a great job keeping us interested!
Your videos always give me that little bit of a boost and just the right amount of enthusiasm to keep me focused on studying for my law school finals!! I know law and medicine are very different and I am far too squeemish to ever be in medicine but I get so excited when I see you kicking butt as a resident! Someday it'll be me kicking butt in the courtroom! Thanks for the encouragement and making all these great videos!!!!!!

Siobhan, i just want to thank you! I'm in 2nd studying for my boards, i haven't gotten any clinic/hospital experience yet and im a very hands on kind of person, so it gets really tough just reading studying texts and doing questions, etc since its not actual hands on medicine. But watching your videos really help me get through these tough nights of studying because you show us clinical medicine, which is the reason why i joined medicine! Not to be stuck in a room studying all day, haha, so thank you so much!!!

Recently I’ve been dealing with autoimmune problems, lupus/RA and I have to go to a rheumatologist! I’ve always been very interested in health and medicine and these appointments got the ball rolling in me to see if medicine is a career I’d like to pursue. I also live in Canada and I found your channel and it is so interesting and helpful to see what being a doctor is like!! It is very inspiring!Thanks for uploading!!

As someone with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome & polyarthritis this vlog was interesting! I am currently under the care of rheumotology, endocrinology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, immunology, ENT & cardiology for multiple various issues so I find all of your vlogs intriguing even though I am not a doctor/training to be one. It amazes me how much I understand when you talk about some medical terms, ha!

Just wondering if you could do a video talking about your time in medical school; what it was like, times you felt like giving up, how you studied, what your favourite year was, all that good stuff! Was also hoping you could talk about what your rotations in other departments was like (i.e., psychiatry, surgery) and what it was that made you choose internal medicine for your residency.
