Ah, hi Ems! I almost scooted past your comment without seeing who it was. lol Anyway, naturally, you're very welcome. This might be a good one for us to do eh? x
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I am looking for a “play along” version of this song but I’m finding that very hard to get my hands on. Do you have that by any chance? Specifically I would like the original song (including vocals) but without the sax part so I can play that part :)
Hi Jamie, In one of your lesson's your taught us how not to keep noodle-ling while improvising, to give space and play as you are talking to yourself (Play Better Sax Solos - 3 Simple Tips (Includes FREE 15 Min Funky Jam Track) #25). In that video you played a very sweet lick as an example of what to do. Using that lick as my base, can you do a video that shows the different combinations of improvised notes using either 1 key signature in the Pentatonic scale or Blues scale or any scale. I'm trying to use different patterns and articulation to be creative when learning how to improvise. My goal is to use 1 key signature on the same back-and-track and come up with a variety of ways to play improvised notes. I hope what I wrote is clear! Thanks!!!
Not EXACTLY sure what you mean, as you're throwing terms like "key signature" around a bit strangely, but I think I get the message. I'll put it on my list as a video idea, thanks!
Hey amazing channel Is it possible to do break down for the amazing sax solo in progressive rock genre Porcupine tree - Don’t hate me,. The sax player is Theo Travis

Ta Jamie. Goes to show how important the basics are: tone, timing/rythm and just 'getting into it'.
Sure thing Pat.
