Loki yelling "Yes, that's how it feels!!!". Gets me every time. Very nice throwback to Avengers. Only second to the Grandmasters confusion when Thor proclaims that the Hulk is a friend from work....lol 😂
This movie really catapulted Taika Waititi from a fun indie comedy director to one of the biggest directors in Hollywood. He’s also the voice of Korg. Also, I’m pretty confident the “he’s a friend from work” line was improvised by a Make a Wish kid on set and they decided to use it in the movie.
Not only did we have Sam Neill and Matt Damon in the play at the beginning, but the guy playing Thor is Chris Hemsworth's brother, Luke. Wildly unrecognizable from his usual look, like when was in Westworld. And yes, Doctor Strange's house is on Bleecker Street in the comics since the very beginning.
One of my all time fave MCU movies. Chris Hemsworth just does comedy so perfect The score is so good too aswell and Chris’ chemistry with Mark Ruffalo is so good too

Yes, it was Chris Hemsworth's friend, Matt Damon, as Loki in the stage play. Luke Hemsworth played Thor in that. Seeing Sam Neil in the MCU was a pleasant surprise.
The design of Hela's costume (and that AWESOME head dress) comes straight from the original comics. All credit to the one and only legend himself Jack Kirby, the legendary artist who co-created most of the Marvel universe.
When Thor is fighting Hulk they had a 8 or 9 year old boy who was fighting cancer on set. He was a big Thor fan, he is the one that said, "It would be funny if when you see Hulk you say he's a friend from work". And they left it in for him.
I really enjoy the idea that big named actors are willing take roles that are so secendary/side characters like Matt Damon, Sam Neil, or even big brother Hemsworth as Thor during the reneactment...it just makes my lil' heart oh so so happy.
Sidenote: Every scene that has Karl Urban makes me smile...to me, the limelight is brighter when he is in the shot. I've been a fanof his ever since he was Caesar in Xena the Warrior Princess.
Dunno if someones said it/told you guys yet but the "he's a friend from work" line was suggested on the day of filming by a make-a-wish kid, Chris and Taika loved it so they used the line and that kid will go down in cinema history its pretty heartwarming
Far and away the best of the 'Thor' films, nicely paced, great humour, Cate Blanchette is fabulously outrageous and then we have Mr Jeff Goldblum being, well.....Jeff Goldblum!

A little Easteregg the horse faced statue we see of the four heads on the building was Beta Ray Bill an character who first appeared in Marvel comics in The Mighty Thor in 83 and was a character introduced worthy enough to lift Mjolnir that Odin had another hammer made for him equal to that of Mjolnir.

I do like this movie my only real problem I have with it is that they made Hela the sister of Thor. In the comics and traditional Hela is the daughter of Loki and I wish they kept that.

Also, The Norse mythology was first used and invented by the Germanic people.. The ancestors of the Vikings are the Germanic people. So Germanic and Norse mythology is the same thing

As for how hot Cate Blanchett is in this movie, as a 100% gay man, I can absolutely agree she is crazy hot as Hela. I mean, the lady is gorgeous anyway, but this look is off the charts.

This Thor’s movie is my favorite. Unlike Samson of the Bible, cutting Thor's hair has no negative effect on his strength...on the contrary.😁

You guys gotta try out the latest avengers game if you havnt. Playing as Thor feels just like it looks in the movies. It's so fun.. Same for the other heroes too.
