On the availability/rarity of vibranium: When Stark said that Cap's shield was all the vibranium they had, that was true. All that THEY (the Allies) had. Wakanda has that whole meteorite's worth, but they don't trade it to outsiders. All that's available outside of wakanda was smuggled out by the likes of Klaue and sold on the black market, which is where Stark had it from.
It's also worth noting that in the comics, the vibranium possessed by the allies was a gift from Wakanda's king to the president, for the USA's assistance in foiling a Nazi plot on the African continent.
Fun Fact, actor Atandwa Kani, who played the young King T'Chaka in the flashback scenes, is the son of actor John Kani, who played the older King T'Chaka in both "Civil War" and "Black Panther."
It was only considered rare in the 1940s because they didn't really know where it came from. Wakanda is very secretive and protective of their land and resources.
Black Panther was such a surprise. Like you, when I first watched it, I didn't know what to expect or who Black Panther is. I was blown away. Chadwick Boseman, God rest his soul, owned the role. And Michael B. Jordan is awesome as Kilmonger.
About Captain America and the question of a "code against killing" -- remember that Cap is first and foremost a soldier. He's undoubtedly killed a lot of people... mostly Nazi soldiers in Europe. Cap's "code" probably looks a lot like the international law of armed conflict: a lot of rules about when and how lethal violence is permitted, balanced by a practical understanding of battlefield reality. To me, that makes Cap's take on violence and killing more interesting and nuanced than a flat "no killing" rule.
I think that a code against killing is, frankly, extremely unrealistic for people who wreak destruction on the level of superheroes. Even if you don't WANT to kill, we've seen in this series that it's going to happen, and sometimes it's going to happen to innocent people. It was this honesty about the reality and the price of violence that made the MCU different, for me, than previous superhero projects. I have a lot of friends who are really into comic books, but I was never able to get on board with that stuff because I was looking at the destruction characters were causing and going '... that's someone's livelihood they're destroying, isn't anyone going to address this? Captain America fought in WW2 so he definitely has some bodies. As other have said, Spider-Man and Daredevil are the two with a no kill policy. I highly HIGHLY recommend watching the Daredevil series, it beats all the films in terms of quality for me and is the best thing Marvel has put out.

Batman has an obvious reason for his "no kill" policy. Witnessing the murder of his parents by a gun. Its his trauma that makes Bruce make such a ridiculous declaration. Black Panther is both King and protector of the secret nation Wakanda. These two characters couldn't be more different.
This one was very polarizing. Some people started calling it the greatest film ever made for dubious political reasons and since politics ruins everything other people started calling it the worst MCU movie ever. I think it falls firmly into the upper mid range. It's not one I rewatch unless I'm binge watching the story arc.
This is as non-spoilery as I can get: On the assumption you are going to watch the "What If...?" animated series for the MCU - Chadwick Boseman recorded dialogue for scenes while he was aware his cancer was terminal and that he did not have much longer to live... but he recorded his part in that show - so that's pretty awesome right there and you should be aware of it when you watch the series (if you react to it here on your channel or not).

I’m not sure those cats in the trees were panthers because panthers are the same as cougars/ mountain lions/ pumas and they are all normally tan in color. Typically big cats that are black are leopards or jaguars
Panther isn't a species, it's a common name, and it's used for several species. You're thinking of the Florida panther, which is a regional variety of cougar (Puma concolor). I've always (50+ years) heard both black leopards and black jaguars called black panthers. I've seen commenters say that all the members of the Pantherinae subfamily are panthers, but I haven't seen them called that outside of TH-cam comments. In Africa, a black panther would be a leopard. Daddy longlegs is a common name that's used for 3 species, and tuna is both a cactus and a fish.
Even Captain America is willing to kill, apart from innocents (such as not wanting to kill the policemen in Civil War). People are killed all the time in Marvel movies, they just don't really focus on it.
I'm here to tell you that the avengers will kill you and lose no sleep. Look at cap deliver a front snap kick to a terrorist on a boat and went overboard to the ocean. At night. Dead. Or when he threw a guy out of the airship in the first avenger. Dead. Iron man killed 6 men in one second when they held hostages in Iron man 1. Don't F with the avengers!
Ironically, you guys saying that he seems like marvels Batman he kind of is Innoway he’s extremely rich he’s actually the richest and all of comics between DC and Marvel because his wealth is somewhere around like $1.2 trillion so in that sense, he’s richer than Batman
I'm sure you mean well but when you say they're copying The Lion King it's the other way around. The Lion King is copying Africa. In the case of the Lion King South Africa.
The Story is kinda stupid with the Special Herb - why do all the Soldiers get some and why he have to fight for the right to be King without the Herb. There are many flaws in the Story. Michonne /Danai is awesome
That’s not a flaw in the story, if anything it’d be a flaw in their society. But I think there’s good reason not to pass out a super strength herb to every soldier. Look what happened to John Walker after taking super soldier serum.
@@nastynate692 sure. But they’ve been doing this for centuries and clearly it’s not been a huge issue or they would’ve changed it. Also, why would their army need all that super strength when they’ve been secret from the world for so long? The Vibranium is advantage enough.
It’s a good action/superhero film but was completely overhyped and overrated. The only reason it received Oscar nomination for Best Picture was the racial element during the initial big push for “diversity and inclusion” in Hollywood. A fun and enjoyable movie? Yes. Worthy of a Best Picture of the Year nomination? Absolutely not.

Umm marvels "Batman" is Ironman
The Story is kinda stupid with the Special Herb - why do all the Soldiers get some and why he have to fight for the right to be King without the Herb. There are many flaws in the Story. Michonne /Danai is awesome
That’s not a flaw in the story, if anything it’d be a flaw in their society. But I think there’s good reason not to pass out a super strength herb to every soldier. Look what happened to John Walker after taking super soldier serum.
@@Jabberwocky415 okay thats right with the society but its still a Part of the Story and the King could be a John Walker too
@@nastynate692 sure. But they’ve been doing this for centuries and clearly it’s not been a huge issue or they would’ve changed it.
Also, why would their army need all that super strength when they’ve been secret from the world for so long? The Vibranium is advantage enough.
@@Jabberwocky415 but the Movie is still overrated
Not one of my faves. I find the story not that interesting, but it is necessary to watch.
This is easily my least favorite Marvel movie. But it is very crucial to the overall story
