I don't know how to describe this feeling, but with the state of the world right now, it is relaxing to listen to scenarios in which the planet/society has collapsed. Almost as if finally reaching our end lifts a weight off our shoulders. I'm so tired of the tension of the last few years and this feeling of doom that I almost want a catastrophe to annihilate us once and for all. I mean, even during COVID we were expected to go on as if nothing was wrong, it just drives me nuts. Anyway, thanks for the awesome content! I love your channel
Aye, thats affirmative, shipmate🫡you summed it up perfectly, far as I'm concerned🎉 Loove the apocalypse, armageddon, doomsday, cyberpunk, abandoned outpost, black death beak face bunker vibe...when not aboard the Nostromo, that is, relaxing to the ship's engines and various bays as the Xenomorph and Queen hunt your doomed dinnerday ass😅
I was fine during covid. Trump somehow winning presidency hurts a lot more. but point being: I'm here for the same reason... I was trying to find a zombie apocalypse video, but this is basically the same :/
because we don’t have to search all over the place for all the latest life altering news stories. We instinctively know the jig is up, it’s why we spend so much time trying to compile all the facts. @@krachr1 I don't spend time teying to compile facts. I just continue to prep, so that I'm living comfortably, while everyone else is rolling around in the gutters, naked, fighting over the last few grains of uncooked rice.
I just discovered this channel. I really enjoy "stuffs phucked up and we's gonna die" content, but most of it is done by children and isn't good. This is awesome and I greatly look forward to listening to the rest.
I was very impressed. The woman and her cat moved me. The second to the last speaker is the kind of guy you could listen to for a long time. Amazing the power stayed on.
Listening to this not even a month after the back to back hurricane's hit Florida makes the "help we're trapped and water is rising" call waaaaay more chilling
I know its just a hypothetical video but love how you've integrated amateur radio, national weather service broadcasts into the one radio very life like if this did happen it would mean mutant cyclones in WA,NT and QLD as well as heatwaves/fire storms on steroids in NSW,VIC and SA
@@ambientescapade the tone and urgency of the ham radio operators looking at that ef5 tornado is likened to the chaos you'd hear on fire radio here in Australia if a big fire is running rampant
Cool, that's me doing that part. I'm not american but that's my best shot at the accent. Also, I did it while driving with the window open to add a more windy affect.
These are amazing, but no one in the United States calls it a “football pitch”. It’s a football field or a soccer field, they usually are separate things within communities.
Ambient Escapades....You do this shit better than all the rest. One quick thing though...record wind speeds on Earth are over 300mph. If you couple that with massive snow storms and snownados and then use the phrase "the possibility of death" instead of "kiss your ass goodbye" well...I'd say the NWS is surgar coating the situation a wee bit. 13:34 Please keep these coming!
I think this would be the worst way to go. There's at least a human element with many of the others to prevent, mitigate or isolate but when the whole planet is readjusting itself from a sudden severe tilt to its axis then there's nothing you can do but die in any number of ways along with everyone else. Survived the initial cataclysm? Congratulations! You've unlocked new game plus which includes an ice age and the difficulty slider moved so far to the right that it's gone in to your configuration file and changed it even further.
Dude, make a full fledged emergency alert scenario about this. It's basically this but with the added screens you would see on television, and often includes multiple countries like Mexico, Canada, Great Britain, and Australia.
It’s cheeky. But does anyone know any other channel just like this . I have listened to all of this guys videos they are brilliant, I’m hooked. I need more zombie/invasion radio
"Ah so verneshot event again? Damn welp! Time to pack bags and go back to my world! Research is being canceled due to unforeseen volcanic circumstances"
I’m currently writing this as a hurricane (Helene) is nearby, trees and objects are being blown around like crazy. Heavy rain too. PLEASE no Mach 0.9 wind. 😭
I am listening to this as I enjoy a hot bowl of soup ond a mocha laté by the light of a grease fueled dripless betty oil lamp on a pine table with white legs and matching tables as Hurricane Francine strikes the Gulf Coast.
I have to ask, are these voices actually your cast or did you get these like from generated voices? I can recognize them from every video and they're an absolute treat to listen to but man, I feel like they should really get voice acting careers, they've got serious talent.
I love these videos---but I can't describe why I do or why they are so popular. It's like those vids from a mall or a bathroom at a party. What is it? Is it just the cool feeling that you are alone? It's a weird, cozy feeling---but that's the best I can come up with. I get the same feeling from War Games when the whole planet is about to blow themselves up and the two teens are off on that secluded island. Or in The Fog when all that mayhem is happening all over town and that hot chic is tucked away in that lighthouse radio station.

Best bet is an emergency landing near a populated area. Without endangering that area. Tell people to make their way towards it.
