There is around $860 at the gas pump to collect. Every employee position/object that generates money has a place to collect it from and doesn't do it automatically... even the vending machines.
2- you can toggle on auto pay and it pays employee's overtime instead of them stopping or paying as you think of it.
3- take the product out of the boxes and place on warehouse shelves to access it from the rooms. Doesn't work for curtains etc.
4- double beds in every room is a good idea so you will always have a room for it when requested as it pays more. If renting a double bed as a single is fine and they will only use 1 bed.
5- the thief will appear near the gas reserve and steal from the warehouse. The game will alert you when its happening.
The expected room rate is per hour so it would be multiplied by how many hours customer wants room for. Also still love your videos!! Always great watching you play!
Handy tip if you don't know it. Put the toilet roll and other things like blankets ect on the shelf, then call them to you in the room without having to run back and to. Press f
tips / spoilers: your employees stop working when their unpaid salary hits 300, but you can set it up to auto pay them daily. Don't forget to take the money out of the pump she is servicing (same for the shop when you hire someone there). Consider making all your rooms two bedroom, they're more valuable and that way you don't need to worry about renting a room to someone that only wants a single (double the laundry though). also you have a cart next to your warehouse that you can put stuff on and push around. Last hint, you can change all of your prices... computer > management > pricing, with an option to change room and fuel prices as well
You could get an extra bedding set and towel so u can use instead waiting on them to wash, also it says how much the employees cost per hour on the top right when u click on employees.
Also to save you time buy a computer and table to put in the shop and maybe the warehouse since there is no tablet. This will save you from running around. The washing machines are stackable.
You are going to need those outlets for other things later. For example the tvs and ac. Hold on to those outlets.
Also put a trash can in the shop. It helps with the trash. I think if you put a laundry basket in the rooms supposedly the customer will put the dirty sheets in it.
One more thing buy extra sheets so you have stuff ready to go.
You should note that the employees are only like 5 or 6 dollars per hour, so if you do a bit of easy math you will realize that a single transaction at the gas pump will pay you employee for several hours while just one or two will transactions will cover the shop for the hour. I would suggest hiring both as they pay for themselves and it frees you up to clean, decorate, and hunt thieves. You should also put them on auto pay so that you won't forget. Having extra sheets and blankets could help you rent your rooms faster without needing to wait for the washer to finish.😁
You can sell empty cardboard boxes for $2.00 with the price gun in your radial menu.

I would love to have seen you army crawling at a run across the parking lot in that crouch mode. If I saw that as a customer, I’d run away screaming. 😅😂 I also wasn’t expecting the game to say the thieves will flat out kill your customers. I’d have been paranoid after that, too. Lol. But it’s awesome to see all the upgrades you’ve been able to do already, and I love the name for your motel. Also, this game really does have a lot of little details that I appreciate, and I like that the progress actually feels like progress. That hour just flew by, there’s always so much going on.
Also, for whatever it’s worth, I’d love to see a return to Pumping Simulator. I can’t imagine how they implemented a motel into that game, so it sounds fun.
Don’t forget to pick up the money from your workers lol, it’s on the gas pump, and also on the cash register.
Also, your car park is full because of that bugged lady, so no parking spots free.

When you collect the money at the pump, you'll have so much, lol. Also, can't wait until you have a thief. Then you'll see why there are police patrols. It's somehow horrifying and hilarious.
You mentioned supermarket sim, but look at your unorganized shop shelves. It hurts, lol. You can change the prices of everything in the shop through your computer, then you'd make more money, just make sure to save each section of items. The way they do the pricing is actually pretty nice.

Just a suggestion Grill get more shelves and designate each shelf for one item each just like in a grocery store
you probably can set the price for stuff in the shop to make more profit.. ive seen another game where you could set prices for every product in your shop..
thats probably why ur not making much money from it... also as soon as you got that staff house thing, you should get a cleaner and a shop assistant so you have
more time to do other things
I saw it on another persons playthrough of this game, The reason Cops come around in this game is because you can use the Shotgun to kill costumers, and if the cop finds a dead body you'll have to bribe the cop, EDIT i guess i miss read the instructions on the other TH-camrs playthrough, the dead costumers are because of thieves, but you'll still have to bribe the cop if they find a dead body

I know nothing is perfect but this game is darn close.
I'd say get different trash bins. It's the same price. But others are not so basic like the blue bin.
Can you buy a door for your room? Can you buy doors for for other buildings ( like store, warehouse, staff room and office)?

When I used to work for security it would be a worry if a person like that lady in her car were just to stay out in an area for long periods not doing anything. Such loitering would be seen as staking out a place to rob. And with that said, I wonder if she is the thief one must worry about and she hasn't done anything due to a bug or simply for not finding the right moment to take action.
