The whole album is soooo underrated!! One of my favorite albums by them.
Same. Great fun to play on rhythm guitar. The rhythm under the solo reminds me very much of Leper Messiah, which is a rhythm guitarists dream.

Death Magnetic is such an underrated album. SO many insane songs. So many heavy and fast riffs

Great song from the underrated Death Magnetic album. Recorded in an old Roman amphitheatre in the middle of Nimes! Rammstein recorded their live performance for the Völkerball dvd there too.

I think what they did on Death Magnetic is some of their best work, truly a riff heavy album with so many changing parts. mazing songs on that album, All nightmare Long and The day that never comes to name a few.
I agree 100% it is one of the best with tons of great songs.
They were force-fed to listen to their old albums by their producer after that Load and St. Anger shit so it was really not natural. The producer made them listen to Justice, Lightning and Puppets to try to find something similar.
This song is one of my fav of all time deserves more love
The last guitar solo was The Sails Of Charon by guitarist Uli Jon Roth when he was with Scorpions

Agreed with the crowd here. Great reaction to such an underrated song.
Death Magnetic as a whole was severely underrated. Mostly because it is widely considered one of the WORST produced albums of all time. The Riffs were brickwalled before they even got to mastering.
It was so bad, that when it was discovered that the unmastered DM tracks that were submitted to Guitar Hero were marginally better, people on the internet took to task of submitting their own remastered albums. It was quite amazing, and such a bad look for the professionals who created such a pile of shit out of such quality songs.
actually, St. Anger was their worst album yet, once Death Magnetic came out, it was sold out almost within a week, since Death Magnetic went back to the style of the early albums, but a lot of people will say that Death Magnetic is the Black album reborn
