The English version I read had XL saying that his cultivation path endorses abstinence in this scene. The Bili comic says it's promiscuity that's forbidden. Not sure which to follow (coz Bili comics does change things around to fit the panels) but if it's the latter then it doesn't mean XL can't have s#x. It just means his path endorses monogamy. But canon is that abstinence is the go.
Stich has such cute glasses! Still super behind in reading the novels, not at this part in book 2.... So what I think would be cool if it happens.... Is if Hua Cheng starts sing a song to Xie Lian after he lays down. Then Xie Lian recognizes the song and Hua Cheng says "Someone sung it to me when I was young." Then the song ends up being a song that Xie Lian sung to Hua Cheng the night he saved Hua Cheng as a child :)
