Hi Alex, how's it goin' my friend.? Hey Alex I don't wanna sound superb by no means but I humbly consider myself an advanced student because I've been to USA BUT let me tell ya I've learned a few new things about English with this video lesson you posted and I didn't have any idea of those facts, and I use those words all the time. Thanks for the video and for getting me out of my ignorance Alex.
Hello Teacher, how are you doing these days. I have a question for you :very much like and very can be used in this sentence: He has two very much like / very alike daughters. I would be glad if you could clarify it please
I have a question. One of the question in test is: Which sentence is correct? I very enjoyed much that. I enjoyed very much that. I very much enjoyed that. I picked --> I enjoyed very much that. But it seems i was wrong but why? The right answer is--> I very much enjoyed that. What is the gramatically reason for that? Thanks!
You can say “I enjoyed that very much” (put the object of your enjoyment after enjoy) or “I very much enjoyed that” (formal structure: place “very much” before the main verb in a sentence). I hope this helps!
Please Alex make a video for: It must have been. It should have been. It would have been. It might have been. It could have been. I still unsure how to use them correctly. I see native speakers use them them but I don’t know how to say and use it properly. Please make it clear here for your eager students. Many thanks in advance!
Hi Aziz, these are the past forms of: It must be It should be It would be It might be It could be Most of these are used to make guesses. Let's use your examples above and complete them with some different ideas: It must have been cold! (I think it was probably very cold...maybe you're telling me a story about how you were trapped in a freezer at a restaurant...I'm 90% sure it was cold!) It should have been Marco instead of Drake. (I think Marco should have gotten the promotion instead of Drake) It would have been great if you had been there! (This is the third conditional...You weren't there, but if you HAD BEEN there, it would have been great!) It might have been Melissa. (I think it's possible that it was Melissa. Maybe you're trying to guess who delivered a mystery package to your doorstep) I could have been better. (I saw a movie. I liked it, but I there were some problems with it. It was good, but it could have been better) I hope these examples help a bit! Google "Past speculation in English" and "Third conditional," and you should find what you're looking for. :)
Hello teacher Why can we use very much happy? I have seen "very much" should't use for feelings that don't have a passive meaning. I just want to clear I am basic.
Alex.. I was in a meeting with my manager and he was little absent and I said to him "chill out" he gets very angry on me 😅, you are teaching us wrongly

@@engvidAlex jummm then in the test my answer was not wrong! :P
Well, it was a bit wrong, but any English speaker will understand what you are saying.
I was in a taxi, then the driver said " I love my job. I am my own boss, nobody tells me what to do"
I then told him to turn right...
'He is very happy' and 'He is very much happy'. Are both of these correct? Can we use 'very' and 'very much' interchangeably?
Yes ayem veri gud
Hello, Teacher, which is correct : very much afraid, very afraid or much afraid.
I would be glad if you could clarify it please
Great

😁 with enemies..!!
Hell Teacher, can we say : I am very much tired.?
I would be glad if you could clarify it please.
Yes, that is a good sentence, but this structure is not very common.
@@engvidAlex so this, sentence is, grammatically correct?

Good example! We have to be careful with slang--some of it can sound inappropriate in certain situations. :)
Hey Alex why are you eating so much chicken again in this lockdown?
Thank you so much
