After having read this speech and having Googled some key figures mentioned, I was shocked to see that the various indictments and verdicts had very little news coverage. The US media has chosen to largely ignore the activities of the CCP, and it has caused the American people to be uninformed. I sincerely hope this isn't by isn't by design.

Whether it's Trump or his food friend Chi shouldn't matter. We need to dump both however and as soon as we're able.
Mr. Wray pointed out that CCP, as a totalitarian actor, has immense power against any private company. This is true. When any company encounters or does business (directly or indirectly) with China, they are not competing with a company; rather, they are competing the entire state power/apparatus. Former President of Republic of China (Taiwan), Chiang Ching-kuo, told officials who naively thought they could cooperate with CCP in 1980s that "any contact with CCP is suicidal". The reason was exactly as what Mr. Wray said today.

There needs to be a TV series made - probably by Netflix if they are able take a stand more strongly than other broadcasters - about the whole situation described in this talk. There are other aspects such as China's very negative influence, using bribery and threats, to dominate small nations around the globe, especially in the Pacific region, and their unilateral take over of international waters in the South China Sea. Really the list is very long of how extremely hostile and extremely dangerous China has become under the Chinese Communist Party. Everything needs exposing in detail. An 8 or 10 part TV series is called for urgently in my opinion.

Any nation needs money to run, to keep its people alive, to provide its army with latest technology and weaponry. @Judd Its been happening since Nixon Administration in the 70s. And it is Hypocrisy on America's part which fought a decades long cold war against Communism but has created a bat eating monster in Communist China. Just for your knowledge, America won't pull out its manufacturing from China and definitely not move it back to the US.
China is a Billion+ slave trade market with low wages and hardly any labour laws, something which suits American companies to get max profits. Manufacturing won't move to US since labour costs are extremely high and there are labour laws. I know that manufacturing units can't shift overnight, but I don't see them shifting at all. Businessmen will back the political opponent of anyone who even tries to act on this. And An average American doesn't give a shit about any of it. Americans get their toilet paper, China made Nike's etc, and they are content. Soon US will become a 2nd grade power by paying China out of its own pockets.
Have to tighten immigration laws and student visas or monitor individuals with CCP/ CCP institutional links on a tier 1 intelligence list but a problem is this theft is ideologically, economically and nationalistically driven by China in other words the people doing this i.e. sleeper agents (students/ workers/residents who are ideologically against the US and support China or have been indoctrinated prior to arrival to use subversion) from China are morally and ideologically driven to use subversion against US and steal property, Confucian institute is also another Chinese soft power institution created in an attempt to warp campuses and foreign students perceptions of China abroad and spread misinformation, disinformation and to monitor their own nationals, this is hard to stop especially in a democracy but you gotta do something as opposed to nothing at all. I appreciate the information but talking about it isn't going to stop this, it requires direct action in the form of tighter security screening and economic policy changes with possibly harder federal punishment under treason, this theft and subversion from China has already been going on for more than two decades
