  • After completing 5.5 years of MBBS from a private medical college , we have realised that most of the students here are lacking the confidence and have a major inferiority complex because of the society.
Even we have faced similar situations in our lives .
It’s high time to understand that everyone is going through the same in life and the opportunities offered are equal for everyone.
This video is to motivate every student to never give up on their dreams because life has much more to offer.

My point of view....... So it's the last option u opt for private medical college not a mistake but bro there is a lot of difference btw private and govt colleges not like they are saying that we got same life and problems..... So
      Reason one.....
Govt college provide u all the facilities and exposure that help u to become a good doctor .... Some private are also good at that but some only so just go through all the data of the college u are going to take and please opt for a college where u got clinical exposure better.....
2nd yeah neet pg is a challenge but here in my college if u ask someone ki bhai badi mushkil he rank lana then he will say rank 1 is difficult but fir bhi top 10 is achievable so that confidence and environment is different.......
3rd top Institute are different they are literally misleading.... It does matter the Institution u r persuing ..... Our sir tell us that if u want to do surgery get into it and get top Institute otherwise it doesn't matter u can be surgeon anyway.... So it really matter the Institution u r going in cause not apollo Or vedanta will choose a surgeon from any private college over a surgeon in top govt hospital cause they know they see 100 of patients daily......
So the conclusion is private college is last option cause it make differece and kitna bhi kehle it does matter and mene apne private college wale friends ki halat dekhi he to Dont get misleaded by amateurs...... But yeah if u decided to private then u should work hard cause I have seen some of them too cracking neet pg and getting ranks in aiims.....so if u have immense amount of money spend there..... But if u thinking of taking loan and then taking admission then it can be life changing for u so don't get misleaded by TH-cam.... Colleges does matter....
      Keep hustling guys🥰

Personally, I gave my third attempt (I didn't GIVE WITH 12) So it was my third drop and I couldn't clear it. Yeh I scored just above 500 and with basically only very less marks increment since the last attempt. I was disappointed but at the same time my parents couldn't afford the pvt mbbs seat(That's fine too!).
I'll be happily taking a good pvt dental college and have set my mind on it. No matter how inferior this scenario of mine, of me missing out three years and still not able to clear it people will make me feel, but I am going to think forward and pay no heed to any such person who has never cleared a single entrance in there life and give Gyan to others.
Own up to your mistakes, pls don't hide yourself in a shell, people will say what they have too, directly or indirectly, it's upto you, whom you choose to listen too. Just follow your guts and your heart.💜

For all those commenting about "paise",let me tell you about my state, Karnataka.
1)Here a govt seat in a govt college (irrespective of AIQ or state quota) costs around 66k per year. You can only get these colleges by marks.
    2) A govt seat in a private college costs around 1.2-1.4 lakhs per year (if you clear the cutoff for that particular college)
    3) then there are NRI, management and private seats which cost more than 9 lakhs per year
Here I didn't mention about deemed universities e.g: KMC Manipal
My elder brother is studying in JJMMC ,Davangere as a day scholar. More or less it costs 1.5 per year including the books. Even govt seats cost more (hostel, mess fees if you're a hosteller)
Most of the south indians don't mind if it's a private or a govt college because we're aware of this fact. If you guys can't afford 1.5 lakhs, you can go ahead and try govt colleges. But don't dare disrespecting medicos from private colleges. I've seen number of govt college students failing their first attempt and private doctors becoming exceptional in their field. At the end of the day they all have to score 50% in their exams. So peace ✌️

The main issue is that in today's cut-throat world, everyone is trying to bring someone else down to feel better about themselves. I've had a few incidents where kids from a top private college judged me for attending a tier 3 government medical college. It goes either way.
Anyway, if we are to keep fighting amongst ourselves, koi bhi patient ka attendant peet ke chala jayega. We've got to stay united. Our journeys are unique, even though we all are going to end up with the same MBBS degree, be it a top college kid, a tier 3 government college kid, private college kid or an FMG

Problem is not about what we are or where we r today. Biggest problem is in the "SOCH" yes me being a FMG had to face a lot of problems, deal with discrimination to ground levels during my internship becz ppl think that this guy couldn't get it in India had to go aboard and the fact is somewhat it's true that our society do discriminate us even many of my prof in gov college where I did my internship had discriminated me, like " u have to learn a lot, u need to grow as u r not like ur cointerns" on the other hand I got many seniors who were so helpful and motivated me a lot, never ever discriminated me.. Fact is where ever u go, u ppl find ppl to point at u, the best result is ur comeback.. So don't loose hope my Co FMGS and Co Private IMGS, we can do it. 👍🏼 There is famous saying " SUCCESS KA PHELA MITHAE (sweets) SABSE PHELE UNKO JINE LAGTA THA KI TUMSE NAHI HO PAYEGA". I am a private MBBS student. I have seen a lot of comments saying that drop year is the worst thing, dropping an year is uncertain, droppers never get success, even abroad MBBS is better than dropping a year and bla bla bla. So, to all those who say that dropping a year is the most uncertain thing decision and the worst blunder one can make, I have a few things to say:
    1. So, you were unable to cope up with NEET syllabus and get a government seat via the competition. How are you so sure that you will be able to cope up with the huge syllabus of MBBS? NEET syllabus is not even 10% of MBBS syllabus. Isn't it uncertain?
    2. If you belong to a middle class family or even an upper middle class family, most likely you will have to take loan to 'buy' a management seat. You will have to repay the loan with interest. Simple MBBS graduates earn 20- 50K monthly. Later on also, the salary doesn't increase like in other jobs. There is a very little increment. I have heard about students committing suicide due to this pressure. Just imagine, with that salary, how you will repay a loan of 70- 80 lakhs that too with interest. Isn't it uncertain?
    3. Majority of the private medical colleges are not at par with government medical colleges. Yes, it is nothing but the plain truth. In a lot of them, teaching is not up to the mark and clinical exposure is quite bad. It is true that very reputed medical colleges or top private medical colleges are better than most of the government medical colleges. But, generally an average government college is better than an average private medical college. What is the guarantee that you will become a competent doctor after graduating out of an average private medical college? Isn't it uncertain?
    4. Private medical college students are judged everywhere and almost by everyone. It is just a say that private medical college students and government medical college students are equal and there is no bias. The bias do exists. A lot of my friends and other people have commented on me that I am nothing but just a lucky guy with rich parents who bought the seat for me, I am a failure etc. Sometimes, even close near and dear ones say that I should have given a year and should have worked harder to crack the competition. I score good marks in MBBS but my government counterparts have seen and know about a lot more practical cases. They are a lot more confident. Even most of the hospitals prefer government medical college graduates over private medical graduates (unless they are not from top private medical colleges). So called educated people who know about the difference between private colleges and government colleges will directly judge you without considering the fact that why you did not get a government medical college despite scoring good marks (genera candidates don't get it even after scoring 570+/720). They will not consider the negatives like reservations, malpractices etc. They will just assume that you are just a rich brat who is good for nothing. What is the guarantee that you will not face bias? Isn't it uncertain?
    5. MBBS in today's world is basically nothing without PG. You were unable to crack NEET. What guarantee do you have that you will be able crack PG which is far, far tougher than NEET? Yes, there are students from private medical colleges who crack PG that too in their first attempt, but they are rare and generally, they are from top private medical colleges. Mind you, the total number of PG seats are lesser than 1/6 of the total number of MBBS seats. Also, there is more tussle to score higher marks in PG as higher marks are required to get top demanding branches like Radiology etc. unlike in NEET where if you score the cutoff marks of a government medical college or you score 720/720, you will get MBBS only. In PG, the competition gets to an unimaginable amount of height if you want a top branch or a very demanding branch like Radiology, derma etc. Also, in NEET only 30% aspirants are actually serious about cracking it which is very dissimilar to PG in which you are competing against everyone who is a doctor. So basically, you will be competing against doctors from all the colleges (even AIIMS Delhi, MAMC etc.). PG from private medical colleges costs crores of rupees. You were unable to crack an exam with just 3 subjects. How will you crack an exam with 19 subjects that too with far more severe competition and far lesser seats? Isn't it uncertain?
    6. The environment of majority of the private medical colleges is not studious. I have seen a lot of rich brats who are just coming for the sake of getting a degree and adding the prefix 'Dr.' before their name. They are not at all competitive. They know that their parents are rich and most likely will 'buy' them a PG seat too. Ultimately, you will not be pushed to perform better. How are you so sure that you will become competitive and do your best in such an environment? Isn't it uncertain?
    7. I know about some management students who don't even appear in the examinations ,yet manage to pass them. There is a strong rumor that many private colleges accept money from the students and pass them without even writing the exams. One of my juniors from another private medical college told me that his college intentionally fails the students so as to extract more money from them. What is the assurance that you will not come across such malpractices? Isn't it uncertain?
I never mean to degrade private medical colleges. As I said earlier, I myself is a student of a private medical college. I never said that private medical college students cannot get success. I just told about some negative things about average private colleges which I came across.
In my opinion, a drop year or even two is more worthy than spending almost a crore on a plain MBBS degree and carrying a 'management student' tag. If you are so rich that one crore rupees does not matter to you, or, you can afford to buy both MBBS and PG seats, then only think about it, or if you are from a family background of doctors so that you can start earning well right from the beginning and that you can be mentored by an established doctor. If you are from a middle class family or even an upper middle class family with no medical background, never make the mistake of selling everything or sinking into loans to buy an MBBS seat. Trust me, it is not worth it. I always suggest that the best strategy to follow if you think that drop year is a waste is to enroll in a different course and simultaneously prepare for NEET. It is a bit tough to manage but in that way, you can prepare for NEET while graduating in some other course, without wasting time.
I am sorry if my comment hurt anyone. Sorry for my grammatical errors too.

Your parents had the money or have paid through their nose( which is sad).
You did not belong to the right caste( really sad and unjust).
You wanted to be doctors" come what may".
Unfortunately private colleges survive because blind demand outstrips supply.
And there is that bottom group of students in every college ( pvt and govt) who should never have come to medicine. They are there simply by virtue of caste or moneypower.

And the fun fact: agr logo ko lgta h ki govt. Med college me pvt. Med college se jyada achi padhai hoti h to bhi to sabhi govt college k students Prepladder se padhte rehte h😂😂.
And just b/c it's an online platform to yahan se to pvt. Wale students bhi padhte h. So at last India ko more and more best doctors produce krna h na ki govt. college students. So just chill and go on ahead skillfully on your track.❤

    P. S. Not a critic but just don't want kids to get misleaded

You are absolutely right. People who have no idea even about 'M' of medical field simply say that private medical colleges are equal to government medical colleges in every sense. The sad reality is that this concept is only true for top private medical colleges and very reputed private medical colleges. They are even better than most of the government medical colleges. But an average government college is always better than an average private medical college. Majority of the students coming in private medical colleges are from rich families. They know that their families will most likely 'buy' them PG seats too, and thus are non- competitive. I know about some private medical colleges who take money from the students and pass them even without writing the exams. Most of the average and below average private medical colleges charge almost one crore for the entire course of MBBS but fail to provide good infrastructures and good teaching faculties. Other big problem with an average private medical college is the lack of clinical exposure, which is very much required for PG exam as with each passing year, it is becoming more and more clinical based. A lot of private medical college agents say that private MBBS students do better in PG exam, which is simply a lie. There are definitely good students in private medical colleges and they crack PG too, but they are actually rare.
