    11:00 no matter how long you leave something in boiling water, it will always be around 90-100 degrees. It will never get any warmer. Anyway crazy project, congrats!

    Really great to see your build. Every process details explained. Really helped me with my build. I got the cheapest w460 too here in indonesia. Parts rarity make the price skyrocketed🙃. Hope my build as good as u guys done

    Great way to have my sunday morning coffee. Your making good progress on the chassis. Not cutting any corners.
    That workshop looks really nice! It looks like a place where more people have there workplace, that is something there should be more of it! It's like a wrench centre where you have a drink together at the end of the day 😁

    Great viewing, been working my way through all the videos as bought an ex army 240GD in Singapore. Planned body work, some upgrades, adding electrics, led lights, winch etc....and now its turned into body off rebuild. Be great to connect for any advice, contacts for parts as nothing available over in Singapore.... When is the next video?

    This is a really good opportunity to add the military radius arm brackets to the frame if you plan on raising the truck at all.

    How are you not referring constantly to MB Service Manuals?! I would have no idea which part goes where.

    • @jonasfreitag
      @jonasfreitag  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a lot of logic to how things go back together, but we have been referring to the service manual more often recently.

    ¡Hi guys 👋-
    THE SHOP IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !!
    I’m taking notes so that when I soon retire I can set up a shop in the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴. AND…as I told our friend, Felix that If it becomes too difficult for me to restore my G on the island, I will put it on a ship (go visit friends and family in Hamburg) and then come see you guys…what do you think? I’m not opposed to the idea of having friends with a HEALTHY 🍻G-glass…
    I mean, GKlasse, in almost every country. ¡Think how much adventure Jonas!!! Climbing the highest peaks of the Caribbean islands ⛰🌴!!

    Hello, where is the best website to get parts for the W460?

  • @monunyabidness5949
    @monunyabidness5949 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm curious why you didn't go with an OM602 or OM605 engine. Lighter than their OM616 and OM617 equivalents, more powerful, more efficient, easier to wring more power out of, etc.

    Incorrect all bearing installation in this video.. I would newer give my car in workshop where for nuts or bearing change use hammer. Lets say it is - how you shouldn't do this =))

    • @jonasfreitag
      @jonasfreitag  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You're absolutely right. Though we have the official manual now and there is a hammer involved in the correct installation process ;-)
