@BorgWolf359 I am decent at BM Hunter but definitely not top tier but I do appreciate the comment! Being an engineer by trade I break things down so I can understand them and then try to pass that on to you all. 😊
Dang my dps almost doubled when I switched to your AOE build, thanks! Now I need to figure out which buttons to push. Edit: So I also just tried using the 1 button macro addon by GSE. GấuPanda makes a macro for BM. So my dps was 60k, went up to 105k with your talents, then the 1 button macro is at 162k. Nice thing is I just push shift 1 forever to do it, easy lol!
@Dahkeus3 Thanks! Yeah we tend to make it way more complicated than it needs to be sometimes. Unless you are running very high level M+ keys or high level raiding it can be a lot simpler. 😊
Great guide. I have also made myself weak auras to track the kill command buffs from the hero talents. It’s probably not necessary though as you’re basically spamming KC anyway.
Hi @TwoAngryFrogs! Related to Luxthos WA, I'm dying to know: How did you remove the spacing between the skills' icons and perfectly aligned with the resources bars? The small gap is killing my perfectionism! Also, thanks for the vid! :D
@licas1402 Thanks for the comment! So as far as spacing, the alignment and spacing should be the default. I do not change anything for those from the downloaded version. If you have spacing, you can go to Custom Options / Core Icons and set the Spacing setting to zero. I do Set the Height and Width for the Core Icons to 48 and for the Overflow Icons to 40. Making them square may have something to do with it as well.
@azneric Cleft hoofs are really good with the extra armor shield when they get low on health. The have nerfed Delves some. I have noticed pets stay alive a lot better in the last week or so. Was able to finish a Tier 9 but have not gone beyond that yet. Will try to get to Zekvir's lair this week I think.
Just getting back into wow! Stopped S1 of dragonflight. This is a great guide :) Im guessing dark ranger is no good for bm? Or is pack leader just the simpler of the 2 builds? :)
@Swornvulkan Thanks for the comment! Pack Leader is the simpler Spec. Our Dark Ranger guide will be out tomorrow. Dark Ranger is definitely the go to for Raid and Single Target and performs way above Pack Leader in those encounters. It is just a bit better in M+ but you can pretty much go either one.
(timestamp 3:50 you do not have multi taken) I could totally be missing something, please explain how you are proccing beast cleave without having multi shot talented? Or are you just after an effect somewhere else?
@starrskreamgaming Thanks for the comment! Yeah the Talents shown are for the Single Target rotation (so we do not take Multi-Shot in that case) but what is in the background looks like random gameplay from a dungeon so I have Multi-shot talented for the AoE. Angry Frog 2 will pick random video to show in the background when we have overlays that need the focus and they did not line up in this case.
have a cat, some times i think he thinks he is the pack leader :P great video looking for more tips an trix as i learning to play :D btw Dier beast do you macro it or how do you do ? :)
@_Garm_ Pets are awesome (when they are not sick and messing up your floors 5 times a day). My poor girl has had an upset belly. Been a long week ... lol. I just cast Dire Beast. Have it on my main action bar.
@eduardodias343 Hey thanks for the question! So it does not matter as much as it used to since the DPS gains from racials are very minor. But if you are looking to squeak out every bit of DPS, for Horde Orcs have Command which increases pet damage and Mag'har Orcs have Sympathetic Vigor which increases pet health. On the Alliance side, you will typically see Dwarves for their Stoneform ability.
@edmondprice6215 Correct I do not track it. Would be way too much brain power required for me to track that and figure out if I should change a cast priority based on increased Critical Strike damage. Also I am not sure it would make a large enough impact on DPS to put that much energy into trying to time something like that.
When you get a prock of furious assault it increases damage of barbed shot by 30% if you canst barbed shot again would it take away the damage buff so you should let that run most of its duration???
@edmondprice6215 Thanks for the comment! Furious Assault also resets the cool down for Barbed Shot so you should have a Barbed Shot cast available for the damage buff. If you are already at 3 stacks of Frenzy you can wait to cast it until your Frenzy stacks are about to expire. Kill Command will be tour top priority as that is our highest damage output but if you need to build Focus for Kill Command you can also cast the Barbed Shot for that reason.
@@TwoAngryFrogs It increases the DoT damage of your barbed shot. So it procks and you get a Barbed shot charge. you use it immediately and its doing extra ticking damage. Lets say you then get another barbed shot charge. If you use the new barbed shot charge does it then replace the Barbed shot dot with a lower damage barbed shot dot??? So basically you apply a strong barbed shot (30% damage buff) then you get another barbed shot charge. If you cast the new one will it take away the strong barbed shot and apply a regular barbed shot?
@@edmondprice6215 So had to test this out on a training dummy. From what I can tell with all the numbers flying in the combat log, it does overwrite it. Normal Barbed Shot ticks go for 45K and buffed go for 57K in my case. I would think it would have to be a very long fight for 12K to make any noticeable difference in overall DPS. You can track when the Furious Assault procs with a Weakaura which is what I did for this test, if you are trying to squeeze every tenth of a percent of DPS.
@gravecac9522 Hey thanks for the question! I run Delves solo as well. I use Pack Leader AoE until the last boss. For the last boss I switch my talents to Dark Ranger Single Target since it does significantly more damage in Single Target encounters. Finishing up Dark Ranger video stuff today so AngryFrog 2 can put everything together. Hope to have that out in the next couple of days at most.
@snacker0711 It is. For sure at lower level keys. You have a 2 minute burst window with Call of the Wild that does very high DPS as long as you have a decent number of enemies grouped up. As far as high level keys, unfortunately the meta starts to take over and getting invites can be more difficult.
@Akunza It is slightly better due to better priority damage for the bosses. But Pack leader is ahead on AoE so it is kind of a toss up since we don't have Tyrannical at lower levels of M+ anymore.
@@Akunza They have buffed us recently so overall BM is better for AoE. But from what I have seen in Patch Notes, Dark Ranger is getting the changes. No changes to Pack Leader at least for now.
It was nice to see at least one person straying from WoW Hitl-... Sylvanna mimicry. Concise and informative, kudos.
