The built-in battery is not replaceable. You can get an external battery bank to recharge it. I would recommend this large capacity one from Baseus, watch my review here th-cam.com/video/qUXZdVk-fSk/w-d-xo.html (I reviewed a lot of chargers and battery banks. Stay tuned.)
I love this! Bought a different one with 20,000 mah from wallmart. The trouble is the battery after only 2 hours of use says 75%. Should the battery run out of charge so quickly after charging it fully. When plugged in and charging how do I know it isfully charged. I ws going by no blinking lights only steady lights al the way across to100%.
Can it be used as a fan / light while it is getting charged itself? Thinking of scenarios where I do have electricity but need to use it without depleting battery too much / or topping it up.
It has a built-in rechargeable battery. You can bring power banks to recharge it. Or you can get some solar panels to recharge it. I've posted many solar related reviews, you can take a look at this setup th-cam.com/video/_KoPb4246HM/w-d-xo.html
Forgive my ignorance: What else do I need to buy to recharge battery? I know nothing about this stuff THANK YOU! how do I know if the charger will fit to recharge?
@@katherine2777 No problem. I recommend a fast charger to recharge the fan. The old 5W apple charger will do but it's too slow. See around 02:29 timestamp, it can take in 24W input power!
@@ToolsElectroDIYHola, in the event the event of a storm power outage. Could I recharge in the car? Or do I need to purchase something additional for rapid car charging?
I bought a Ryobi 40v 14in whisper fan since i already have the batteries. Plus it only takes less than 1 hour to charge my batteries and not 10 hours. Once your fan battery dies you have to buy a whole new unit?
@GingerDachshund I have one and it's barely noticeable as long as you are not just sitting there looking at it. I showed it too my father and even after pointing out the noise he did not notice it. I will say it might be a fan to fan type situation.
This was super easy to set up and hang up. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxclitHMewQyK8ao1RdWQ7Bt5ZZcLG0bWH Fairly quite considering it’s a fan. The versatility is great for me. It gets really warm in my bathroom and this keeps me cool while I’m getting ready in the mornings. When I need it to blow in a different direction I have no problems moving it around. Highly recommended!
Funny enough I would rather have the DeWalt because it's louder. I need white noise to sleep properly so I actually want something as loud as possible.
Great profesional review I was ask for a request if you could compare tdone fan VS flex jobsite fan instead thank you I will make me make a better decision
Hi brother, nice video , i am planning to buy this fan and was wondering which type of charger/adapter would be best to charge this with ? Would appreciate your suggestion thanks :)
The fan link is in the video description. For the charger, I recommend this one th-cam.com/video/SIBVw3SwkU0/w-d-xo.html which is the most affordable and is enough for charging this fan and you phone. Not to mention there are AC ports too.
When your battery runs out on the orange fan it’s useless. When the Dewalt battery runs down all the have to do is change the battery. I’m sticking with my DeWalt. I don’t need a light on my fan.
Good point, the DeWALT fan is great for home use, but when it comes to camping, there's additional weight to carry: two batteries, one 20V battery charger, while the camping fan can be charged using a solar panel, see my other reviews.
Okay video but all y'all keep excluding the most important aspect... How do we pull this fan to clean it when it's dirty? That's what's important to me...
Weeeoo weeoo weeoo weeoo... It sounds like poorly balanced construction or bad bearing? Isn't this sound annoying in the long run even though the decibel meter shows a lower value than Dewalt's model? Just my observation, maybe I missed something? Best regards
Hey, brah, brah..it's for those times away from your home. You know brah, like where your heavy ass A/C central heat and air unit resides?? Educate yourself brah..

I don’t think it takes 65 W. it’s been a year since I tested it. I don’t remember the exact number. You can find it in the video.
