You have to remember that her father didn't set a good example of what a man was supposed to be. She grew up with a weak father who allowed his wife to bully her/her mother. He let the wife kick them out of the house where they ended up living mouth to mouth while the rest of the family was living comfortably. Her father never once stood up for her. He never fought for her so her distrust is rooted in her experience with her father. He caused her to be so mistrustful of men. She trusted him but in the back of her mind she was always waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I have a question, what will happen with Siryl 's intial love for the Ou prince and then she gets maried in to the family. Is it possible to subtract from meeting a boyfriend outside? Love Hou ja is expensive a lot at the wife who lives freely who does not see marriage as the beautly of an Oriental girl.
@@travinhmyanh4227 Shiyi never had feelings for Mr. Ou it was always a one sided love. In her eyes he was just a friend. She told her teacher that she wanted to be like her...single her mother's death changed everything for her.

This drama is so good I watched this 5 times on viki so awesome but forgot the episode
My heart breaks for Lingyi. He loves her so much/to have her believe all the fabricated evidence against him so easily had to really hurt. I understand Shiyi's mistrustful nature when it comes to men because her father was worthless. He never once stood up for her. He let his evil wife banish her from the Luo manor to live in destitute. He was weak/had no backbone. She was always waiting for the other shoe to drop because every time she trusted her father....he always disappointed her. It is one of the main reasons she was always surprised when he defended her or went against his mother to protect her. She never experienced that kind of love and devotion before. It was all foreign to her.
Lingyi was absolutely right...she should've come to him the moment she started having doubts. It would've prevented his accident. It also would've given them the opportunity to work together. Her fears took control/she lost all common sense. They worked together to bring Lianfang to justice it should've made it easier for her to trust him with her mother's case. She knew that it was the Luo family that put a stop to the investigation. She made it harder on herself/Lingyi. My heart really breaks for him.
Agree with you But one point to note " " Marriage is a big deal , no joke " Right from the start she misunderstood and had a bad view of LinGy She always opened up to OU because she thought she could save her underwater .
@@HoaDieu-sn3se They both had a bad view of each other when they got married. He thought she plotted with his late wife against Lianfang. While she thought he was cheating on her sister with Lianfang. First impressions are often the hardest to overcome and their impressions of each other were not the best. It took him a minute to stop comparing her to Yuanniang. It took her a while to trust him. She was up against a lot from the very beginning especially where his mother was concerned. When they kicked her out of the Xu manor to live in a different location she was surprised that he disobeyed his mother's orders and brought her back. It took a minute for her to actually trust that he would have her back. Seriously with a useless father like hers it's not surprising that she would have some trust issues.
@@shontelagrone8713 In the first stage, when she was newly married, Hou ja still looked at Siril normally, didn't think badly of it wanted to move, but was denied. He still waited patiently The mistake is from Siryl , this girl is too young , has not received a good education from her father So think simply about marriage and love
@@HoaDieu-sn3se In the beginning he was trying to honor his late wife's last wishes regarding Shiyi. It wasn't until later on when he started looking at her with fresh eyes. He thought she was another schemer just like her sister. He compared her to Yuanniang on several different occasions which made things a bit awkward...lol Every time he took a step forward...he took ten steps backwards because he still believed that she helped Yuanniang set up Lianfang. Once he realized his mistake....then he started wanting more. He gave her time and space. Unfortunately her father was a piece of crap...he was such a wimp and he allowed his wife to kick his own daughter out of the house with no means to take care of herself. He didn't set the best example so Shiyi assumed that Lingyi would do the same thing. Every time he stood up for her...it was a surprise. She wasn't expecting him to fight for her because her father never did. It's one of the reasons it made it easy for her to believe the so-called evidence against him. Once she stopped comparing Lingyi to her useless father it made it easier for her to fully trust him. I agree that Shiyi was at fault. I'm just glad she learned from her mistake.
