  • Barbourula kalimantanensis is an endemic frog from West and Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. In this video, I cover their discovery, how rare they are, our pursuit of knowing more about them, and how they hold the title of the only lungless frog until recently.

    I love it when so calleed scientists "colect" endangered species. I remember one Ornithologist who "collected 23 Wood Storks on Long island, and then wrote, "They've never been seen here again, I collected the last of them."
