I will admit that this swatch video brought me to your channel. And I'm SOOOO glad I found you. Firstly, holy cow! Now that is a ColourPop collection! This video is incredibly helpful. I am always on their website looking for new things to buy, but it's hard with their SuperShock shadows because they usually translate very differently on the skin. And I can read a hundred reviews but everyone's opinion is so different. This video just took my ColourPop game up a notch. It's certainly the best ColourPop video I've personally ever watched, and I've watched a ton. You did such a great job with your swatches and labels. You did an outstanding job putting this together. Very well thought out and put together, IMO. Amazing job!!! I added this to my all time favorites EVER playlist. And girl, you have a new subbie! Now.......I must binge watch!!!
That is the definition of a Colourpop “metallic” eyeshadow. They’re extremely disappointing. My theory is that the girls who love them don’t have enough experience with better brands that can actually deliver super foiled finishes, glittery blinding results. I can’t explain why anyone would rave about them. Their mattes are bomb though. No complaints there. But all of the metallics/glitters/duochromes I’ve tried, I’m always let down. They’re very uneventful, generic, nothing special 🤷♀️ There’s indie brands that compete with Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath finishes. Now, those are STUNNING duochromes, metallics and glitters.
@@simplyrowen what indie brands would those be? I have some foiled and duochromed from Makeupgeek and I'm in love. But if I'm sleeping on other brands I've love to know. I feel the same about colourpop

I got Weenie, Elixir, Cornelious and Coconut. I think the last one wasn't in the video but I saw a few swatches and it looks sooo prettyyyy! It's my second time, I've fallen hard for their shadows! And this time around I got some ultra satin to test, the ultra mattes I'm scared of, I've read way to many reviews saying they're drying...

I'm a beginner I just now started buying Colourpop and I truly don't know why this wasn't the first brand I ever even started with. Super affordable and AMAZING color and pigment payoff. I have Sequin which is the most beautiful color I've ever owned, Keeper, Top Notch, and Butterfly which is a beautiful champagne highlighter with a little of silver and gold reflective. I also have Finders Keepers which is the prettiest lipgloss ever ❤️ I enjoyed this so much
Are these shadows a dry powder or are they more like a cream? The look very soft and I have never used anything from this brand before. Gorgeous collection!

Ropodog Well, its def a powder product. The shimmers go on better with a finger. If you buy one and you don't like it, it's only five dollars USD, so it's not the biggest loss.
This video was so helpful! I always have a hard time deciding what colors I want from colourpop because I'm afraid to end up with two that are similar. Usually similar shades aren't swatched side by side but here I was able to see which shades I preferred!

I have green eyes so a must for me is Drift for sure! I get tons of compliments on that shade every time in wear it.
