I always get a little sad when creators say they aren't going to swatch a product because we can't get it. I'm like, "thank you for thinking about us but my eyes need to see it please..." 😅 Swatches are so incredibly pleasing to the eyes and that way I can see if I have anything similar in my collection. So, thank you. 😊🥝💚🖤
You may be the type to get sad when that happens, but if you swatch something that is no longer available? People get toxically angry! And the spam and flame the creator, so it's best to avoid doing so it's best to avoid doing so
@@claudeyaz I get that but regardless of what you do, someone is bound to be upset. It's just baffling to me why ppl get so worked up over makeup; it's extremely subjective and not a life or death matter lol
Amanda, I will ALWAYS watch more wet eyeshadow/ best single shadow videos from you. You can post one every week and I'd still watch every single one :)
I would love to see these swatched by color rather than formula. A lot of these colors look exactly the same to me; I can’t see the differences if they’re not side my side. And it would be nice to look at a bunch of similar colors in different formulas so you can pick which formula suits your needs best.
To me they all look exactly the same too, except that green one and the blou one, but all the other ones you could not tell apart when worn on the eye.
would love to see a series on single shadows that you kept broken down by colour family! would be a great way for us to see subtle nuances in colour between similar shades.
You should categorize by color. There are basically 4 colors over and over… it will help you curate the collection-if you ever want to minimize them! They are very pretty though!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps my products as long as they still work..I would however suggest if you've had the supergoop for to long to get rid of those. The spf goes off and is not as useful even though the product may still feel good but the spf may not even be working anymore
I bought the Sephora Colourful Eyeshadow in Twinkle Twinkle on your recommendation and it is PERFECT. The smooth, small, and close together glitters with the sheerer tan base make it look even more like a TRUE wet look, as opposed to the wet glitteriness of Space Cowboy or Colourpop Ritz (both of which I also absolutely love)
Do you ever think of separating your eyeshadows by colour family and then decluttering that way? It seems like you have many shadows of similar colours, granted in different formulas. If you were to looks at colours more than company you might find that you have a more edited and considered collection. Not saying that you can’t keep different formulations but it might be interesting and might make one think before buying a shadow of the same colour to one that you already have.
@@ambergerhelper7852 yes its pretty dark on my fair/cool skin tone 😢 plus I find most Taupe shades pull a neutral/warm brown and not as grey/cool brown as I remember from high school when I used to wear nothing but Taupe browns and light pinks.
I’m about 18 minutes in and I can see you gravitate toward the same tones in every brand (champagne, copper, bronze, gold, gold/green). I am exactly the same but I go to all cool tones. I loved the Rituel de Fille Flora and Andromeda because they were more cool tones 😊 Thanks for showing all the different brands/formulas.
I love this video because I’m recently into the “one and done” shadow but I feel like we’ve been looking at the same 4 colors over and over again. Would really like to see a “one and done” favorites video. Which one out of all of these is your favorite brown. Which one out of all of these is your favorite green. And I like the way she compared the Tom Ford and Charlotte Tilbury. Maybe compare all of the similar colors and let us know which one is the prettiest, longest lasting and most affordable.
I totally agree. half way through I was like is there gonna be any other colors? Or have I gone colorblind suddenly and only see brown 💞🧐 Nope she just really like brown, copper, eyeshadows❤️ Which is totally fine but I just wish there would've been more color variety instead of 1:30:27 of the same shade with a few other colors throughout. I just felt like it was watching the same swatch on repeat... But here I am still watching it🤣
I have only one cream eyeshadow that i wanted for everyday wear one and done and looks like no makeup makeup is the revlon caramel shade. So happy you featured it , looks natural but pretty and you look instantly put together last all day doesnt crease and isnt super sparkly. Everyone should have this particular shade affordable too.
I’m living for this video! Thank you so much for making it! They’re always enjoyable to watch and very thorough. I bought Space Cowboy and Ritz based on your recommendations and I have to say they are real stunners - my absolute favourite! Take care Amanda! 💗Klaudia
Bronze, taupe, copper, and gold. Basically from the first shot of the top of the basket, they all looked like versions of these same 4 colors. I bet you could make all your same looks with a good selection of 4 of those singles and declutter the rest. But where's the fun in that?
You could make a swatch diary made of kraft paper so you can always reference colors that look similar! and swatch the ones you are decluttering too, for memories!
Sephora's Twinkle Twinkle is my MVP when it comes to toppers - it goes with so many palettes I own, as if it's the shimmer that's been missing in the palette! And I got it because you recommended these eyeshadows as an alternative to Urban Decay's single shadows! Sadly, Urban Decay isn't available in my country anymore (so I can't experience the Space Cowboy shadow lol), so thank you to the moon and back for recommending Sephora's single shadows! ❤
Thanks a lot for the video I love it!! Note: Danesa Myrick colour fix glaze formula are wet eyeshadow looks and long lasting. If you choose the clear shade you can transform any colour to wet look.
Yes! A one and done eyeshadows vídeo is what i need! I use them every day for a quick work look. Stick, cream pot or powder I always use them. The less time i spend doing my make up the more i can sleep 😊
I absolutely LOVE your single shadow videos. i think I've rewatched them at least a couple times, lol ETA: Warm shadows are my jam. I have very yellow-toned skin, so anything else looks ashy. I like that you include them for us.
I agree, the Sephora collection single shadows are such high quality! I’ve been buying them for about 5 years now and they’re worth it every time (I’ve tried and liked all the finishes expect for the mattes, if anyone is tempted).
Chantecaille's Cheetah is AMAZING. Wearing it today. I'm more of a sparkly light beige on the lid kinda gal and this fits the description perfectly. It's super, SUPER pretty.
I I like when you take the dried out eye shadows & use Micellar water to make them into a graphic eyeliner,or use inglot duraline to make an eyeliner that lasts! For recycling shades you may not like as a shadow...but can handle as a liner
I love the idea of owning just 3 single eyeshadows. Having a minimalist makeup collection is my goal for 2024 :) Also those hourglass shadows are gorgeous.
That's a collection of single shadows now. When you were talking about the one Sephora shadow called demanding, it reminded me of a nickname I used to have. Lol. My name is Amanda btw, and my aunts and uncles used to kinda pick on me and call me Demanda because I was kinda demanding I guess. Just a Ra memory I thought I would share.
All of your declutters are so captivating and helpful. Thank you! Just ordered kulfi bronze brocade as I've seen a few creators rave about it and looove how it looks swathed and on the eyes. Cannot wait!! 😍

I’ve never bought a single shadow in my life. I saw the title, thumbnail, and video length and idk why but I clicked it. I had so much fun watching this
We love the same types of shadows, so I love when you do these DEEP DIVES!! May I recommend 2 of my favorites-KIKO Milano Water Shadow in the shade 200 (there are others too) and Palladio Crushed Metallic Eyeshadow in Stellar (kinda hard to find). Thanks for all the effort and time that you put into these videos, I have purchased so many shadows that you have featured.
PLEASE do a updated one and done shadow, I keep refrencing your old video but you've recommended so many since then I can't keep up. Also, can you do a wedding guest/ special occasion makeup look, I have a couple of weddings this summer but am so lost as to what to wear.
Amazing, thank you for sharing. I like Stila Kitten and have loads of one-and-done cream eyeshadow sticks from Kiko, Beauty Pie, Vieve and Laura Mercier.

This was a terrific review of single shadows, Amanda! I found several that I definitely want to try!!! Thank you for taking the time to make this video!!!❤
I have used High Roller regularly for YEARS. It’s been a staple in my summers & will always stay. It’s an oldie but goodie! Beige Mitzah would be my number choice if I had to pick 1 for the rest of my life.
Mink from VB is my fav! glad you got charlotte tilbury pop shots. I have tried every where to try to get one in whatever color and can’t find anywhere.
I just received the Elf No Budge in Sand Dune and it is the exact formula and shade I have been searching for forever! And it was like $5. Thank you for this recommendation!
1:23:28 oh btw, I bought all of the inc.redible lippies that I could find during the sephora sale after you recommended them, and omg I love them so much. I’ve been using the hydration jelly as a lip mask in conjunction with the grande plumping lip mask every night and I love it so much. The jelly shots are really cool too. I’ve never tried a metallic lip product that I liked but it is so pretty. The only thing I would change is I wish they had a minty cooling effect. I almost exclusively use a plumper with everything or mix a plumper into a gloss if I love the color/ effect of a gloss that doesn’t have it. I mix in the derol lip plumper into my essence cranberry lip oil and it is perfect. I’ve gone through at least 3 tubes of that lip oil.
Hi Amanda, i love the olive green eyeshadow shades too and i see you have a lot of them, so please if you can add to your collection these two single eyeshadows too: *chantecaille luminescent eye shades in the shade 'rhinoceros' *auric cosmetics smoke reflect duo in the shade 'entice' and then i would love to see you swatching these shades side by side besides the other three shades that you already have: *victoria beckham beauty lid luster in the shade 'velvet' *hourglass cosmetics scattered light glitter in the shade 'vivid' *bodyography glitter pigments in the shade 'prism' as a color reference for me to decide which one i want to purchase, i would appreciate that very much and thank you so much 🙏🥰❤
I have the Chantecaille in the colour Crane. It is grungy burgundy with a pink shift. Sooo pretty. I wear it as a one and done or as a topper. I think you might like the rhino or lion one. But I you like burgundy, you should really try Crane. I wish these weren’t so expensive, I would love to add some extra hades to my collection. I think I would love the Zebra and rhino one.
Try Chantecaille in Giraffe (bronze brown) or Elephant (warmish taupe). I like Rhino also. It's like Elephant but cooler. I use these as one and done all the time.
I’ve tried MANY brands expensive high end to less expensive. My favorite is ColourPop. I love that they are high end quality without the high end price. They are vegan, cruelty free, stay put ( I live in high humidity Florida ), huge selection, extremely affordable & last forever without going bad. They have me hooked for life lol. 💖💖💖
These videos are so helpful! And I wish I got to purchase the pop shots. I didn’t know they existed until it was too late. They’re all discontinued now :/ it’s such an alluring product I wonder why they stopped producing it 🤷🏻♀️
@@AmandaZ that’s awesome Amanda! Thank you! And here is to hoping that Tom ford does a whole new line of their cream and powder duos 🤗🥳 I couldn’t get a hold of the duos but I ordered the cream shadow in sphinx 🙌🏻🤞🏻thanks for all your recommendations, I know you hear this a lot but your videos have given me some structure and a solid healthy foundation of what to look for in makeup🤗

Hi Amanda, i love the olive green eyeshadow shades too and i see you have a lot of them, so please if you can add to your collection these two single eyeshadows too:
*chantecaille luminescent eye shades in the shade 'rhinoceros'
*auric cosmetics smoke reflect duo in the shade 'entice'
and then i would love to see you swatching these shades side by side besides the other three shades that you already have:
*victoria beckham beauty lid luster in the shade 'velvet'
*hourglass cosmetics scattered light glitter in the shade 'vivid'
*bodyography glitter pigments in the shade 'prism'
as a color reference for me to decide which one i want to purchase, i would appreciate that very much and thank you so much 🙏🥰❤
Honestly this video is one of the longest but it's very informative and wasn't boring to watch ❤🎉
OH YES PERFECTION 🤌🏻
For the supergoop shades, try mixing daydream and the bronze color to see what happens. I'm curious.
Funny you don’t like Koosh. I’ve been waiting and waiting for it to come back. It’s exactly my cool-toned jam.
Tom Ford cream shadows were my favorite....so sad they are no longer making them.
Amanda, I can’t believe you don’t own Reflect from the Scattered Light line. It’s so gorgeous!!
Hourglass vivid is my favourite ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
SO GOOD
@@AmandaZ indeed 😻😻😻
I have the Chantecaille in the colour Crane. It is grungy burgundy with a pink shift. Sooo pretty. I wear it as a one and done or as a topper. I think you might like the rhino or lion one. But I you like burgundy, you should really try Crane. I wish these weren’t so expensive, I would love to add some extra hades to my collection. I think I would love the Zebra and rhino one.
Try Chantecaille in Giraffe (bronze brown) or Elephant (warmish taupe). I like Rhino also. It's like Elephant but cooler. I use these as one and done all the time.
You helped me with my 'one and done' shadow routine and i'll always remember you for it. Enjoying your videos as always ☺️
Amanda, your reviews are so delightful to watch. All the details! We are here for it. Thank you for doing all this work!!
Eyeshadows heaven!
I know I will end up buying at the end of this video 😍
I have close to 500 singles, I love videos like these. I dove into the world of indies, I hardly buy mainstream anymore.
I bought that dang hourglass ray because of you and I’m supposed to be on a no buy! 😂 I love it
I highly recommend Victoria Beckham lid luster in Honey.
That is the most satisfying thumbnail ❤ love your videos
I was very surprised with elf and their shades now am definitely trying them out
Whoa that’s a lot of single shadows! 😅 nd I feel overload with the 15 I got 😊
Omg you’re amazing and I love the thumbnail 👌
Thank you!!! hehe
These videos are so helpful! And I wish I got to purchase the pop shots. I didn’t know they existed until it was too late. They’re all discontinued now :/ it’s such an alluring product I wonder why they stopped producing it 🤷🏻♀️
honestly I am wondering the same thing!! I will say the scattered lights from hourglass are so similar
They were SO expensive though 😬 it was sad as they were so pretty 😩
@@Nanabanana219 they were! Haha apparently the packaging had Swarovski crystals on the lid!
Wonderful video! YES to wet look shadows. ❤
