This is a very fun project to learn in one day! I've been practicing for 2 hours now and i can play until 1:03 with both hands and on the correct tempo. I hope to finish this by supper because this is the favourite song of a girl i really like and i want to surprise her with it. Wish me luck :) Edit: grammar Edit 2: It's now day 2 and i can play the entire piece fluently without mistakes. Something came in between yesterday so i didn't have time to finish it but i'm glad i came back today to practice. I will see the girl i like on friday probably so i hope i can surprise her with this piece :)
How did I learn to play and how to memorize it, and do you have any advice for me? I have an electronic keyboard since 2020, but I cannot play fluently.
@@Myfoxisyourfox well you should first master your left hand very well. Try to play it over and over and over and then slowly try to add the right hand. At first it may seem very hard but when you do that long enough you begin to see a connection in your head. You gotta feel the rhytm. Also it helps just listening to the song a lot of times so that you know exactly how it should sound. And start sloooowly because if you master the song slowly you would have less trouble when you play it at full tempo. But the process is just mainly rinse and repeat. Once you have independence of your right and left hand this song will become very easy :)
@@sarichie6 i think you can one day! I've been playing piano for over 7 years now so you have to see those years as my "learning" experience to learn songs that fast. And i have to admit i learned this song faster because i want to play it to that girl i liked. Love has no boundaries :)

it’s 0:24am, November 14, 2021. I’m not feeling really well today. Physically nor mentally. When I play piano sometimes I forget about everything, and it makes me feel at peace. So I’m going to try to learn this new song:) being honest I’m a bit inconsistent but I truly want to set this goal and be able to play it. I’ll try to update! - Day 1: Today I wrote down the first piano notes on a notebook, and warmed up by playing Mariage D’amour which is the last song I learnt. Then I tried playing this song by guiding myself with the notebook but it’s a bit difficult -- 1:35am and I can slowly play until 0:23 Day 2: Today I re wrote the notes because tbh last night I made them messy. Yesterday I tried learning both hands at the same time but now I decided to only do the right hand first - Day 3: Nvm my notes are a mess again now lol but I’m still trying to coordinate both hands for the first part to the speed that the original song is since I do it too slow. I’m trying rlly hard to get used to it so I can start focusing on 0:42 which is my fav part of the song - Day 4: I play way much better the first part but still haven’t being able to start trying 0:42. Today I only practiced a bit. Didn’t have much time. - Day 5: Didn’t practice at all. Busy day:/ - Day 6,7,8…9? LOL YALL I’m so sorry but it was literally the busiest week of my life. for me, this is so relaxing song. i wouldn’t say easy, but as i play piano for more than 9 years, way more than half of my life, it’s kind of hard sometimes to find songs that are more easy (and not classical) but still sound pretty and not so easy. (i hope i dont sound proud, i just don’t know how to say it otherwise)
I've had a piano for quite a while now. I've never gotten to practicing it. But I might start. Day 1: I can play till 0:20 pretty well. This was way harder than I thought. Day 2: I have an exam tomorrow so I didnt have much time to practice butttttt i AM at 0:22 now Day 3: the exam went well :) and I only practiced for 15 minutes today. I’m at 0:29 now Day 4: HI, SORRY, ITS BEEN A WHILE. I've reached 0:39 now. Yeah, the progress is slow but hopefully fruitful at the end, fingers crossed.

I want to give you a hand, I have been playing the piano for a few years and I feel compelled to help you :). First, learn also the green part, then very slowly join both parts, the real advice is not to rush to go fast, the slower you join the parts with both hands, the faster you will play well. well I'm no expert but I'll give it a shot lol, i heard that if you practice the right hand, and then the left, and after play them together at once is easier. And something else is to just practice, practice is the biggest advice i could give anyone.

yeah i just found an electric keyboard at a garage sale - a yamaha one? idk if there model types but i bought it for around $15. ive replaced wiring and managed to get it working fully again so ive decided this is the song im going to play!! - Day 1: ive mainly got the hang of the left hand, but i struggle with the shift from the 'G' to 'G+B' notes, as well as the 'A' and 'A+C#' notes (ignore how ive written them bc ive only done piano for like 2 yrs when i was like 7 and i dont remember anything CANT EVEN READ SHEET MUSIC UGH) figured out most of the right hand kinda by guessing and hitting notes that sound similar and then playing the video to see if it matches and icl im so gassed that i got sm of it right - Day 2: ive tried to learn just the left hand but i feel like ive fucked up my progress by learning the left hand with both hands and now im struggling to hit the notes w only my left hand. keep hitting 'A' instead of 'G' for the first bit and i dont have a whiteboard pen to mark the notes so i used mascara (big mistake) i keep messing up one part of the right hand (i an doing it w ONLY right hand) but i think im getting the hang of it !! -
Just do bits at a time do one hand then the other hand for all the bits then after the separate hands are perfect put it together then go to another bit and do the same it’s what I do
Well, sometimes you have to improvise. If you have a High hand extension you have many tipes of "fingering" (i don't know how It's called in english, in italian It's "diteggiatura", It Is the way you put your fingers on the piano and the fingers you use to make certain passes.). If you have an High hand extension you have many passes you can do, but if you have a low hand extension, you have to look at the notes and Ask yourself what Is the best way you could play that part. If you have a low hand extension i suggest you to not make too much fingers turns, passes, you have to make It easy. But if you have an High hand extension you can play in many ways. You have to find your way to play It. Sorry if i don't talk english very well, i hope this helped😅
How I learned: Step one: play with only your right hand on .5 playback speed then again at .75 and then at regular speed. Step two: play the left hand side at .25 speed twice then .5 twice and finally regular speed twice. Step three: play both together at .25 speed and raise it as needed. This will take you a 2-3 days if you practice this method as a beginner to learn it
For me, it's easier to learn just small chunks, hands together at a time. Once I can play that section fluently I go to the next section Since the left hand is very repetitive this way might be easier for some people.
Day 1: 0:40 1 hour practice Day 2: I can play all the left hand but i still need to practice the right hand and the coordination Day 3: i cant play 0:42 smoothly but i am close to finishing the song until 1:20 Day 10, 4 days left till talent show

First, learn also the green part, then very slowly join both parts, the real advice is not to rush to go fast, the slower you join the parts with both hands, the faster you will play well. Have a good time

well I'm no expert but I'll give it a shot lol, i heard that if you practice the right hand, and then the left, and after play them together at once is easier. And something else is to just practice, practice is the biggest advice i could give anyone.

Thank you for your tutorial, I play this on my 88 key keyboard I sing but it's ruined because I get so emotional when. Playing such a depressing yet beautiful song . Hopefully the more I play the mess I cry xd

yeah i just found an electric keyboard at a garage sale - a yamaha one? idk if there model types but i bought it for around $15. ive replaced wiring and managed to get it working fully again so ive decided this is the song im going to play!!

Day 1:
ive mainly got the hang of the left hand, but i struggle with the shift from the 'G' to 'G+B' notes, as well as the 'A' and 'A+C#' notes (ignore how ive written them bc ive only done piano for like 2 yrs when i was like 7 and i dont remember anything CANT EVEN READ SHEET MUSIC UGH)
figured out most of the right hand kinda by guessing and hitting notes that sound similar and then playing the video to see if it matches and icl im so gassed that i got sm of it right

Day 2:
ive tried to learn just the left hand but i feel like ive fucked up my progress by learning the left hand with both hands and now im struggling to hit the notes w only my left hand. keep hitting 'A' instead of 'G' for the first bit and i dont have a whiteboard pen to mark the notes so i used mascara (big mistake)
i keep messing up one part of the right hand (i an doing it w ONLY right hand) but i think im getting the hang of it !!

I can’t just synchronize both hands
Just do bits at a time do one hand then the other hand for all the bits then after the separate hands are perfect put it together then go to another bit and do the same it’s what I do

Well, sometimes you have to improvise.
If you have a High hand extension you have many tipes of "fingering" (i don't know how It's called in english, in italian It's "diteggiatura", It Is the way you put your fingers on the piano and the fingers you use to make certain passes.).
If you have an High hand extension you have many passes you can do, but if you have a low hand extension, you have to look at the notes and Ask yourself what Is the best way you could play that part.
If you have a low hand extension i suggest you to not make too much fingers turns, passes, you have to make It easy. But if you have an High hand extension you can play in many ways. You have to find your way to play It.

I have had a busy day but have worked on it some, I have my left hand pretty well all the way to 0:30
How I learned:
Step one: play with only your right hand on .5 playback speed then again at .75 and then at regular speed.
Step two: play the left hand side at .25 speed twice then .5 twice and finally regular speed twice.
Step three: play both together at .25 speed and raise it as needed.
This will take you a 2-3 days if you practice this method as a beginner to learn it
On a way, I managed to learn this in one day (toooootally didn’t sit on the piano for a whole day 😅)

For me, it's easier to learn just small chunks, hands together at a time. Once I can play that section fluently I go to the next section
