      I would agree with that, roughly sixth.
      If they can make the drop off from first choice to second choice less, they'll be top 3/top 4.
      Add the kind of props they are known to produce every ten years or so, and this can be a team who can win a world cup.

    I expected the Pumas to win, just not by so much. Italy held onto the game for some 55 mins, and then they fell off the map. The Pumas simply had that extra gear when it mattered, I'd even say they have better aerobic fitness.
    But more importantly (setting aside the initial minutes, when the commentators were joking, that we're watching sevens rugby), Argentina played a much more complete, better thought through game. One stat at the end of the match underlined it all: Argentina kicked some 760m, while Italy 400-something. You can't win international rugby matches, when you're getting outclassed like this in tactical kicking. If the other team kick way better, you're constantly losing the territorial battle, and are forced to run uphill.
    Argentina are slowly turning into a bona fide complete team, that has mastered every facet of the game. We've already seen it in TRC. This newfound tactical kicking mastery has Contepomi written all over it. They are also starting to grow a much broader squad. No Matera, no Kremer, no Petti, no Lavanini, no Carreras (neither Matteo, nor Santiago), no Chocobares, no Boffeli, yet they still put Italy to the sword.
    If they could get their consistency sorted, they'd be a top 5 team. They can literally beat anyone.

    Argentina are deadly if they are allowed to get moving. Their handling and moves once motoring are impressive, really impressive, though not shown at its very best in this game. They could even beat Ireland if Ireland underestimate them. So good to see another SH team coming to the fore ….be afraid NH, Argentina joined the big boys club in the recent SH series. Was in Udine for this one! I was impressed by Italy’s forwards. They held their own for a majority of the match. It was definitely the backs and their inability to contend with the high balls and Argentine kicks that cost them. That and their players dropping like flies to injuries throughout the match.

      El marcador es el resultado de algunos factores fuera del campo. Argentina lleva 3 meses consecutivos jugando juntos y viene de un partido contra los All Blacks, por lo que todos los jugadores tienen tiempo de juego y la combinación del equipo es excelente.
      Para Italia este fue el primer partido juntos después del 6N y el día antes del partido muchos de los jugadores sufrieron problemas gastrointestinales (esto no es una excusa sino un hecho).
      Argentina claramente superior a Italia en juego, cohesión y velocidad (pero no en scrum), pero ese resultado es mentira, es resultado de las oportunidades y de los diferentes caminos de las dos selecciones, pertenecientes a dos hemisferios diferentes. Argentina todavía habría ganado, pero no por ese margen, teniendo los mismos minutos en las piernas y jugadores sin problemas físicamente.

    • @Severino_Radic
      @Severino_Radic หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@solinvictus1234Falso, los últimos partidos de Italia fueron en el 6N. Está claro que no jugamos contra la mejor Italia, contra Escocia, Gales y Francia mostraron otra cara, pero tampoco era facil hacerles 50 puntos en su casa sin tener a varios titulares clave. Veremos qué pasa la semana que viene cuando se nos venga Irlanda con la bronca del ultimo partido

    • @solinvictus1234
      @solinvictus1234 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Severino_Radic ¿Qué sería falso? De hecho, han liderado los últimos partidos del 6N, Argentina ha jugado mucho más recientemente que Italia y eso cuenta mucho en términos de amalgama de equipos y sobre todo de juego. Luego nunca dudé que Argentina era mejor, viendo como le ganaron a los Ab's etc. pero ciertamente esta diferencia de puntos no es real, sino resultado de muchos factores externos.

      Italians weren't in good shape also. The day before the match lots of players suffered of gastrointestinal issue. Plus this was the first game of the Italian team togheter after the 6N. Argentinians instear are playing togheter since three monts with also a game vs the Ab's. They had more cohesion as a team, more minutes on the legs and less mistakes made than the Italians.
      The result lie to us, this is not the real gap between the two team. Surely Argentinians are stronger, but not like this (and we seen an hint of it with the Italians beaten them in scrum).

      @@randomlyfactual1943 would you say that after Australia lost so badly to Argentina? Argentina performed amazing and Italy didnt, this "should Italy be in the six nations" shit is stupid, they obviously belong

      You should include Georgia instead of dropping Italy. Each team only plays each other once so it's not a big deal to add one more

    I was expecting an Arg win, but not as hefty. I was wishing Italy the best, for Quesada and the Italo-Argentinians in their team. To me it was a sloppy mediocre match. IRE don´t have much to fear against ARG.
