Years ago the question was asked "can a video game make you cry?" I always wanted to see it happen. Thanks. Also, "It felt so good killing' that 343 Guilty Dickhead!" Priceless.
Martin O'Donnell It takes a lot to get my tears flowing but damn this did it! Thank you for your incredible work and for gracing my channel with your presence. Is it really over?? Nah, I think we’re just getting started. ☘️
If you're reading this sir, I want you to know that your music not only helped me to succeed in the virtual world but in the real world many times. Couldn't thank you enough for the masterpiece of a franchise you made audible to millions.
Marty is the form god takes when speaking with us mortals. I will call this interpretation of the Bible “The covenant of Marty”. Our end goal is to wipe out the infidels by playing the Halo CE OST on gigantic stereos we have yet to find.
Dan Miller thank you for making one of the most iconic levels in history. I would always replay it as a kid! Thank you for your passion and dedication.
Man I miss Johnson. No character after Halo 3 really filled the role of the morale lifting commanding officer. He never talked down to his men. Rest In Peace Johnson, “folks need heroes” and you’re one of them.
51:55 The first time the aribiter meets chief. Johnson tells them to set their differences aside and to work together The arbiter with a gun at his face responds "Were it so easy". Saying that he does not trust the chief At the end of the game the same line is used. But instead of it being used negativly to chief. Its used to say that the arbiter chooses to not believe the Chief is dead Honestly this little character moment is what killed me with halo.
Arbiter was referring to Chief being able to kill him in that initial cutscene, as in if the Arbiter was not an ally Chief wouldnt have found it so easy to pull the gun on him.
@@psykology9299 Yep. Johnson initially says they have enough to worry about without the Chief and the Arbiter trying to kill each other, to which the Arbiter retorts "Were it so easy," in that it wouldn't be easy for the Chief to kill him. When Lord Hood tells him it's hard to believe the Chief is dead, the Arbiter says "Were it so easy," in that it's not easy to believe someone like Chief could be killed.
I replayed the halo games all over again back in December and finished in February (cause of work, so not much time to play and finish the games in one go) but the point is that even till this day this game still makes me cry not just for the story and graphics but because of all the great memories i had when life was alot more simpler alongside my little brother and my friends on late night friday nights of multiplayer and forge. 2007 was the best year for me. Thank you Bungie
41:06 and they said that when Marty wrote this piece, his pen shook, and the paper lit ablaze. And the greatest piece of music ever created, was born...
Halo CE flood encounter: run around screaming his head off, missed every other shot. Halo 3: controlled burst, switch b/t shotgun and melee. he's grown up. hehehe
Uhhhhh, have we been watching the same thing? He's been getting stuck on every Chieftain he encountered cause he couldn't keep continuously firing through their shields, he still misses the majority of his shots, screams his head off every other minute, and runs every single damn chance he gets instead of fighting....yes, he's far more familiar with the weapons now, but his aim hasn't improved much and his he hasn't really changed in how often he runs from a fight unless its required to clear some enemies out. He's also been slowly more and more just going with the flow rather than paying attention to what's going on with the story since Halo 2 as well, which is slightly irritating....needless to say, if he's planning on trying any level on Legendary, it'll eat him up and spit him out like nothing since he typically won't have the luxury of not going for headshots with precision weapons, running away while turning his back on his enemy without being immediately punished, or let alone rely on his allies to clear a room out for him with a Fuel Road Cannon....annnddddd 3 games later he's still mistaking the passenger seat of the Warthog for the driver's seat too lol
There’s a quote by another spartan I think her name is Kelly. Following the first death of a Spartan in combat she said this. “Spartans aren’t supposed to cry...so for once...i was glad for the helmet.” I think you know how that’s fitting
Spartan-087. Fastest of her kind. A ray of sunshine amongst her kin, relatively speaking. And yes she said that about her emotional response to the death of Sam-034.
When you started crying, I was like "Man, don't cry...please, don't cry, I'll cry too!" and well...I cried. Even if I've played HALO 3 recently, it's pretty heartbreaking to watch that ending, and emotional to see someone else having the same feelings for the story, characters and the game itself. You have to watch HALO: Forward Unto Dawn, before you play HALO 4.
“Lads I’m actually... In tears.” To go back, to feel this feeling and to do this over again, to feel how he feels. I would give so god damned much to feel that again. Thank you, for bringing that feeling back one more time. I think we all might have shed a tear with you.
Props to Dee also for not giving up and fighting his was like a true Spartan on heroic difficulty. We had our tuff moments(like when he kept getting killed by all those brutes on the ark lol) and some great and funny moments, and to say the least the ending of halo 3😪,but my boi FINISHED THE FIGHT! like a true spartan💪🏻 good job DEE 👍🏻 Thank you for this amazing experience all over again 🙂
Jake B sane. I went to two so I got 2 helmets signed, 2 halo consoles, Halseys journal, and a funko pop signed. Each time I met him he was the nicest guy, same with Jen Taylor. Hopefully outpost discovery returns in 2021
This Aussie is back at it again with telling the future, this video will be great and prove to all that he is a true halo player, he will finish one of the greatest trilogies ever and finally see why halo veterans are somber when reminiscing about our beloved Johnson, so why are you still reading this, go like the damn video already
Guys, let him be hyped. Dont ruin someone's experience by spamming how horrible it is because thats a self-fullfilling prophecy. There are plenty of people who loved halo 4, especially the campaign. Myself included. let him enjoy it.
True, peeps, let him go in with an optimistic and open mind. If he dislikes it, have fun ranting with him. If he loves it, have fun explaining why it actually sucked afterwards. But dont take someones enjoyment away just because YOU didnt like it...
Gotta say though, for all his faults, Guilty Spark was ultimately right. They were destroying their inheritance. Unknowingly of course. Also, he remains one of my favorite characters of this series since his narrative was expanded in in the Forerunner Trilogy. Also Geek did a great job struggling through Halo 3’s campaign on heroic. Great job pushing through! :)
I truly wanna hear his opinions on the Forerunner Trilogy, like seriously. If I had to pick a book for him to start giving his opinions on, Greg's novels would be among the first. It's hard not to feel at least a little sorry for the guy after hearing his side of things in that trilogy + Renegades. And yes he's growing so fast! After Halo 4 and 5 on Heroic, he'll be ready for Infinite's Legendary (Unless of course, he's up for tackling one of the current games on Legendary in the meantime? Spare him the misery of a LASO run though heh.)
Yeah, Dee only hated him rather than try to understand to bigger picture because he had a lot of shock, problems, fears, and obstacles with The Library and the flood, which Dee converted into anger and hate towards Spark every since Halo CE since he felt Spark was just inconveniencing him due to not really paying much attention to the story or why he had to do what he was doing....just take a look back on his CE playthrough where it began....anger towards Spark for betraying you can be understandable, but Dee took it further to demonize Spark out of his own confusion and fear...it gave him a convenient excuse to take all his problems out on the antagonist he felt betrayed by, so of course Dee wouldn't consider why Spark did what he did....basically he used Spark as an outlet to release his anger from the game due his own perceived inadequacies, which turned to a hatred that lingered even to Halo 3....even if that slowly changed for Dee from 2 to 3 when Spark wasn't an antagonist anymore....Guilty Spark is a really good, interesting character....but, I mean, Dee didn't even know why the Flood allied with Chief and Arbiter back when stopping Truth, let alone question it....so I don't doubt that any distrust to Spark that Dee had of him in Halo 3 was more due to his own emotions and projected hate towards the Library and any other difficulties he's had with Halo throughout this entire experience than out of actual consideration that Spark's betrayal was obvious due to how his motives and goals were shown to be completely different from the humans and Covenant to start with.
It's all cause the Flood honestly. If the forerunners had annihilated it, Humanity would've been gifted the Mantle of Responsibility. Friggin parasites.
sylxeria Oh definitely! If he doesn’t want to “read” them then he should get them on audiobook and listen to them over a weekend or something (it helps that I’ve heard that their audiobook renditions are excellent). More so than pretty much every other piece of media following Halo 3, Bear’s Forerunner Trilogy lays the groundwork for everything that is to come. Plus they’re collectively my favorite piece of expanded universe media hands down because of how different they are from everything else and how they’re so rich with lore. 😂 Also, he would cry tears of genuine rage and frustration if he tried any of the games on LASO. In particular Halo 2 & 3. Like I’ve seen other dedicated Halo channels try it out and most of them admit it just isn’t a fun way to play the game for most people. It’s pretty much just piling on difficulty for difficulty’s sake.
Imagine back in 07 though....not knowing there is a halo 4 coming 5 years later... Thinking the end of chiefs story is this.... Knowing bungie is leaving the series and being unsure of the franchise future past 2010.
that was me. I was so depressed after ending Halo 3, cause I knew that was the end of Master Chiefs story. a decade later and still think it should have ended with 3.
Not only did you get the voice of masterchief but you you also have the incredibly talented Martin O’Donnell watching and complimenting your videos. You have officially without a doubt become a full fledged halo fan!!!
My native language is Spanish so I'm sorry if the translator confuses any word: Halo 3 for me is the most special video game I have ever played, I have already completed it dozens of times and even today I am still crying and feeling an enormous emotion for the game For me it is the best video game in history and I am very happy that there are people like you who have experienced the same as me with Halo 3, you are already a Spartan and I welcome you.
I came across this series on instagram with a halo account talking about this playstation player playing halo and thought "Man, he'll probably talk bad about this game or be respectable" and now I get excited to watch these videos to see his reactions when he plays these games. I feel as much excitement as he does when watching these videos and I thankful I came across that post cause I wouldve never seen these videos.
@@lazyskull7949 halo 4 was originally supposed to be then end, and I think it should have stayed that way. Seemed like a good generational shift for chief as cortana died and chief realized he was only human.
Congrats Dee, you did it! You beat the Bungie games. I was curious seeing a "PlayStation Guy" try halo reach for the first time. Even gave you a tip about plasma weapons being good against shields on the second mission... Usually it's a one time thing for me, to go out of my way to watch a complete stranger just to play one of my favourite games... Gotta say man, I came for Halo, but stayed for the personality. You'll go far in TH-cam.
@@chrislaezur730 Hey i've seem you somewhere else.... The votes are a fraud right? let me break it to you, these votes are not fraudulent and you are stupid if you think so.
Johnson dying hits me everytime in the feels. The music is so beautiful yet sad at the same time. Besides Cortana he was arguably the closest friend Cheif had, this game is ahead of it's time in terms of storytelling and gameplay.
Well done brother for completing the first half of the Halo experience. The story is truly something amazing, but now you must prepare yourself for battle once more. Prepare for ... *Multiplayer*
Salsada01 Honestly! Playing multiplayer and actually being able to play multiplayer well after spending significant time in matches expanded my proficiency in the game like nothing else could. I’m a waayy better player after playing multiplayer then going back to the campaigns. (Legendary is still a challenge to me but Heroic is comfortable. Before I never really ventured higher than Normal.)
Welcome, DeeBeeGeek, to the Chief Club. You have done everything from watch the trailers, to playing through the games and listening to the lore. You have completed every Bungie era Halo game on Heroic and not only survived, but excelled. I thank you for this series. It showed me the reason why I loved Halo to begin with. I had almost forgotten because of Halo 5 being trash, and a general lack of enthusiasm. Now, with Halo Infinite coming out for both the next Xbox, and for Xbox one, I am super hyped for it and I have had my energy for the series renewed, thanks to your fresh perspective. I love this series, and will forever be grateful to you for it. On the topic of playing Infinite on Legendary, I say go for it. My dad, Uncle, and I all started off playing Halo on Legendary, even before we knew what it was about. Also, my mother has beaten every halo on Legendary difficulty. If she can do it, you can for sure, with flying colors. Anyhoo, love ya man, and once again, I truly appreciate everything you have done for me and for reigniting my love of Halo. Words cannot express how much these episodes and streams have meant to me. It's been an honor so far, sir, and I look forward to many more memories to be made!
No matter how many times Ive played these campaigns. It never really gets old watching them be played. I think I enjoy it so much too because you were the "playstation guy" And Ive always known that most playstation players haven't and never will have the chance to live the halo experience, and now, extremely satisfied with this moment in *g a m e r h i s t o r y* I can watch someone who never even thought they would start the fight, actually finish the fight...(on heroic too...props to you for that).
@@TheDeadzon3 but...hes never played before...So for someone with little experience it is challenging. just happy to see someone completing the game properly, considering that most new players wanna take it on easy or normal.
@@lethalkrab Regardless, headshots carry you through the game, (unless it's hunters the food or fucking chieftains). I'm in no way belittling his run, I'm just saying heroic isn't hard, even for newer players.
@@TheDeadzon3 *I think I recall him saying multiple times that heroic was, and I quote "extremely challenging" for him...but okay...no need to flex how good you are at halo...youre not the only one bud.*
I am so, so happy about your reactions to this series; as a veteran, seeing someone completely new to the series play through it for the first time is absolutely amazing!
I would recommend looking at the halo believe campaign. It’s on TH-cam around 11 mins long, and interviews veterans of the human-covenant war, around 50 years after the end of the conflict.
culam nguyen Yeup. And 343’s repeatedly said 5 is canon. I also disagreed with the direction the story took but I’m really interested to see how Infinite resolves that conflict while also expanding the story (and maybe bringing some elements of Halo Wars 2 in as well??).
Couple things for ya Definitely watch your radar at like all times. When you need to swing the energy sword fast use the melee button instead of the shoot button doing that swings the sword faster.] If ever fighting the flood in the future don't focus so much on the lil popcorn guys, unless they start to group up in big masses just ignore them and always stay moving they wont be able to bother you much. Good job on beating it on Heroic my dude!
h3 ending has to be one of the best endings to a game ever. its so simple really yet perfectly wraps up 3 games.the music is the icing on the cake. it never gets old no matter how many times i see it
I watched almost every stream if not live the archived videos after they where over I'm glad I could make it to this one though... while halo 4 and 5 weren't my favorite I'm ready for those streams and your lore streams even if I already know most of it
22:31 Just in case you didint know... That deep voice you've been hearing through the game is actually the VenusFlyTrap lookin ass from Halo2 aka the king of the flood in simple terms.
18:42 “I have walked the edge of the abyss... I have seen your future.. and I have learned..” She’s talking about Halo 4 and 5 :( Now we ALL have learned
The ending of the game still brings a tear to my eye; the music, the story wrapping up, and everything just ending so tidy; I couldn't ask for a better ending. If you want another great series (if you haven't played it) Mass Effect is also great but heavier on dialogue and is 3rd person. Halo, Mass Effect, and Zelda were the trifecta of my childhood.
I know this video was made nearly a year ago but I honestly cannot stop watching this video not only because Halo 3 was my favorite game but your reaction and emotions get me every time. Your excitement and you crying at the end literally reminded me when I was younger and playing this game, I honestly had the same reactions as you did
The way Bungie formed their stories and the way they portrayed their ideas is what makes Halo so beautiful and there wont be another studio that is capable of doing such things.
Too bad that's only true when it came to Halo. Destiny is suffering from no -> terrible story and more story locked behind paywalls. Bungie peaked early and haven't been able to reach that point again.
@@xMick3yC well, i think they are listening to the community. Halo infinite can be the perfect mix of the bungie style and 343 style. The only thing that can fuck infinite is how they develop the prometheans. They need a big twist. More than 343 doing bad games per se i think their problem is the prometheans. But hey, if they decide to do something like putting the flood back and we can fight a promethean infected by a flood, holy shit i drop money to their face. Also God God God please 343 put a guardian infected by a flood.
hey pensé que era el único mexicano que veía sus vídeos jaja , me recuerda tanto cuando lo jugué por primera vez el día de su estreno en septiembre de 2007, saludos spartans!
Listen up marines! Ign's channel under the "community" section has created a poll where they pit characters against each other and voters decide who go through. Now at the moment, those ps4 bastards that have never played halo have given Kratos the slight lead in the semi-finals where the top 2 in each poll go though meaning Chief is behind. We can't let that happen, so get over there finish the fight, and cast a vote for chief. Hoorah!
I would recommend watching Halo forward on to Dawn. It’s a live action halo movie that gives you backstory one of the characters in halo 4 and kind of leads into Halo 4
I just want to say thank you from a long time Halo fan since the first Halo. Watching you experience my favorite franchise has allowed me to re-experience the feeling I had when I played back as a kid for the first time all over again.
Halo 4's ending is gonna bring tears for sure. The overall experience is a bit of a hit or miss for most fans that's being seen in a better light these days in comparison to Halo 5's execution.
Halo 4 actually killed my interest in Halo for years. Then the MCC came to PC... I'm wondering if edgy teen me was too harsh about Halo 4 and its execution, so I'm gonna give it that second chance when it comes out.
@@DoomieGruntVentures I loved it from the moment I played but I can see where it lost people. All I say is to play it, explore the levels for the extra content and open yourself to a more personal story.
@@Vash_Carrison I'll be the voice of negativity, i felt Bungie halo had great AI combat, vehicular combat, well designed battle spaces, great pacing, great use of colour, sound effects and game feel. Halo 4 really dropped the ball with the gameplay, the covenant felt off and the prometheans were bland. The mantis isn't fun and classic vehicles didn't quite feel right. Promethean weapons were too powerful and didn't add a new dimension to gameplay and sidelined the existing weapons they replicated. Del rio, Palmer and Lasky didn't add anything to the story and were annoying at best. I would argue the multiplayer experience with all off the randomness and CoD elements stripped back is the most Halo thing 343 has done (aside from H2A).
@@theCelticDragon1 I can see your point and half agree. I cheated and saw the cinematics before even touching the controller so I knew what I was getting into and enjoyed my time with it. To each their own.
Quite sure someone might have already explained but the skulls are hidden in the levels and when picked up they unlock different add-ons (Called Skulls, with reason). Like dying resets the mission, your HUD disappears, enemies get double health, you can only recharge shields by melee. Stuff like that. Tho there are some that are for giggles, like headshoting a grunt will cause a burst of confetti. Completing the campaign with the Skulls active will unlock achievements. They're made to enhance the difficulty of the game. Even when playing in Legendary.
September 25, 2007 - Halo 3 was released. Millions of people were online. The population map was lit up showing the locations of everyone playing. January 13, 2022 - The Halo 3 Xbox 360 servers have been brought offline. The population map is finally dark. End of an era.
Steve in the intro, Marty in the comments the legends themselves grace us. As the arbiter once said "Even on my knees I do not belong in their presence."
I grew up playing these games with my older brother and when he left for the navy I couldn't play the halo games for almost 2 months without tearing up because it reminded my of him. But watching someone play and enjoy and love the games I grew up on is one of the greatest things ever so thank you for playing these series and I hope you do many more like it! :)
I remember back in the day, this was a big cliffhanger. Then we found out that Reach was going to be Bungie's last Halo game. Personally, I didn't like Reach compared to the original trilogy and after playing it again it's still not as good. I wasn't alone Reach was a polarizing game for most fans, I think most didn't like it though. Then news came out that 343 Studios was going to make a new trilogy continuing the story. I'm sure we were all hyped, but like 343 Guilty Spark, we should have known not to trust. Halo went on a downhill with 4 and especially 5. Halo 4 had some interesting ideas and concepts, but they were executed poorly. Probably the best character development we got in 4 were Cortana and Chief. Hopefully Infinite doesn't disappoint so far it seems they are learning from their mistakes *cough changing the art style to resemble a Halo game.
I'd recommend to truly train for Halo Infinite Legendary, to replay the campaigns on LASO, (Legendary all skulls on) it truly is a fun experience, not at all hard or rageful at all and the good thing about it is that it definitely improves your aim lol
@@elliotjohnson9415 lol. I think I actually posted this before I started LASO myself. It took me a whole year on and off but I finally finished every single Halo game on LASO 2 weeks ago. I mean to be fair I started and finished each of them as individual games within the same week but each time it took a bit of my soul with me so I needed a month or two’s rest every time
Fun Fact; Microsoft wanted Bungie to allude to a sequel after the original ending was finished so MS could carry on the Halo franchise when their contract was over. (The Legendary ending was basically a demand by MS, which is why it feels forced on and out of place) If MS never forced bungie to end the game in a way that would have hinted to further sequels, we wouldnt have that legendary ending. So in my head canon I see Halo through Bungies vision. Master Cheifs story ended here, the war with the covenant was over and the flood eradicated. The perfect end Bungie left Microsoft after Reach in 2010. Halo 4 is a new developers game (343 industries) and the Halos after 2010 are their new direction. Keep that in mind. Bungie has gone now
Bungie left Microsoft shortly after the release of Halo 3 and became independent. They were still partners for the next 3 years. From what I've studied though, Bungie did have a very basic draft of Halo 4's plot and it did touch some points with the actual released game, and I mean it was a very rough plot (Such as Requiem, Didact as the antagonist, and Cortana Rampancy) had they ever decided to go back to it. Though I highly doubt there were Spartan IV's, the Infinity, or heck, even the Storm Covenant aka 'Microsofting' it. I also think this partially why 4 had an okay plot, while 5 had a nonsensical one. I think once Bungie became independent in 07, they didn't exactly know what they wanted to do with the series, which is why it was left open to interpretation, similar to the ending of CE. I think they wanted to have that door open, just in case they ever decided to come back to it. Unfortunately, Microsoft didn't want any of that, so those bridges were quickly burned.
@@Cklert I'm not sure things would have objectively gone any better if Bungie kept going with Halo after Reach. Man, both Destiny games suck story-wise, they're on the same level as many pay to win mmorpgs from no-name developers. Just absolute garbage. Sure, it would still bear the name of the original studio, so fanboys wouldn't be nearly as critical, but you have to remember that since Reach everything Bungie touches becomes shit instead of gold. That studio's time is over.
As an OG Halo fan. I've loved watching you on your journey so far. Gamers who have never played through the Halo Campains truly don't know what they are missing. I happy you're half way there.
Dont worry about crying. I cried in 2007 at the ending too because this was going to be the end of Chiefs story (and was for Bungie because it was the last one they would make with Chief in it). after the credits there was even a message from Bungie thanking all the fans for making the series possible
Fun fact. The Legendary ending was pushed by Microsoft so the series could continue after Bungies contract. So bungie made a cool homage/reference to marathon at the end there. The planet at the end resembles that from marathon and the ship crashing into it is very much the same. But it was good enough for MS to be passed as a cliffhanger that opens the doors to many other halos (for better or for worse). But for bungie it was over. They gave marathon fans some love and they concluded Halo in the best way possible.
It's such a breath of fresh air to see someone genuinely enjoy these games like many of us grew up with. Your excitement, your fear, your sadness, your hystericals- all of those emotions you can legitimately see and hear. I'm so glad to see even years later this world stealing the hearts and imaginations of players!
I hate to say it, but don't count on Halo Infinite being their redemption. I'm just disappointed that they didn't decide to take the opportunity to patch the storyline the same way they did with multiplayer. From their prior efforts, I expect a buggy mess at launch, and an overly ambitious mess of a storyline taken straight out of the Star Wars sequels.
Here is another one. Can you move up? Man. If you think Halo has died after 343, why dont you then move to another franchise? Seems pretty childish to me. Thats like hating Disney SW and still consume SW, ridiculous, at the very least.
@@thyCarrot I don't know about the others, but personally I did move on to another franchise after Halo 3 + ODST + Wars + Reach. It was called...Mass Effect, I think. Halo 4 had some serious issues. Halo 5 was dead on arrival. And unless I miss my guess, these videos have so far been about Bungie's Halo series. Like DeeBeeGeek said, it's just not the same without Johnson. Oh, that reminds me; I've got to get back to Marathon, Starcraft, Homeworld, Resident Evil, and Half-Life at some point. But as for people consuming Disney or EA products, even though they hate them? It's called addiction and convenience. That's why people continue to eat at McDonald's, even though it's not good for you.
I enjoyed see him experience Halo from CE to 3 (didnt watch his reach playtrough). See him getting emotional did make me smile. It made.me think "Thats it, that is a true Halo fan".
Dee Bee Geek, I've been playing the H3, ODST, and Reach campaigns on Legendary for 10+ years now. Man thank you. I dont have anymore halo friends most of them have well gone off the grid and the ones who I knew in person either don't play video games anymore or have simply moved on. I can never get anyone new introduced to this game ive always wanted to share this with someone but either everyone I was friends with already have or didn't care much but seeing someone enjoying the story and not just the multiplayer fills that void. Thank you I look forward to seeing you in the fight when infinite comes around. I'm hoping infinite makes the comeback for halo. With customs games and forge on launch and a fun/memorable campaign like the original 3. no matter how it turns out I'm just glad I got to see someone enjoy the original trilogy!
That intro was legendary!!! I wish people could appreciate Halo like you do, and that you enter the 343 era with your mind clear, but reminescent of everything that Bungie has done, including the fantastic H3 terminals, lol.
This is the true Great Journey. I loved watching the driving section, "Oh, he's dead. Nope, he's not. Ah, this time he's dead. Or not? Oh OK." Overall nicely done, I'm pretty sure most of us have fallen for that Jebait at the end. I'm going to play all of the Halo games again myself before the release of Infinite, it'll be so fun.

Man I miss Johnson. No character after Halo 3 really filled the role of the morale lifting commanding officer. He never talked down to his men. Rest In Peace Johnson, “folks need heroes” and you’re one of them.
I miss him too he was the best
lets hope the pilot in the E# infinite trailer is a good enough replacement
The only original 343 character I really care about is Lasky, everyone else is pretty forgettable

The first time the aribiter meets chief. Johnson tells them to set their differences aside and to work together
The arbiter with a gun at his face responds "Were it so easy". Saying that he does not trust the chief
At the end of the game the same line is used. But instead of it being used negativly to chief. Its used to say that the arbiter chooses to not believe the Chief is dead
Honestly this little character moment is what killed me with halo.

Halo 4 trash as fuck

Cesare Martínez gotta say the truth

Dude, you're awesome! Thanks for playing the original trilogy, now you're one of us... Kappa. Looking forward to this premiere :P
No. No. No.

The perfect end
Bungie left Microsoft after Reach in 2010.
Dude, I've never never see Marter Chief's voice actor, is so awsome.
I didn't expect this to get emotional, but damn... This bring tears to my eyes.
As an OG Halo fan. I've loved watching you on your journey so far. Gamers who have never played through the Halo Campains truly don't know what they are missing. I happy you're half way there.
That cap Chief was wearing 0:00 I need that in my life 🔥
Dont worry about crying. I cried in 2007 at the ending too because this was going to be the end of Chiefs story (and was for Bungie because it was the last one they would make with Chief in it). after the credits there was even a message from Bungie thanking all the fans for making the series possible
Can't wait to see your reactions to the final 2 missions, because I always miss the streams and don't have a lot of free time to watch the VODs.
The fact that steve downes is in the beginning of this video is nuts
It's such a breath of fresh air to see someone genuinely enjoy these games like many of us grew up with. Your excitement, your fear, your sadness, your hystericals- all of those emotions you can legitimately see and hear. I'm so glad to see even years later this world stealing the hearts and imaginations of players!
“Trusting 343 was a bad idea”
Funny thing is, the same can be applied for the people behind Halo 5 😂
They better not mess up infinte. Halo is on its last legs as is.
I thought the same thing lol. H4 and H5 just weren't it.
One of the greatest games ever, I loved playing this game as a child and I still do now.
honestly, the greatest trilogy in gaming.
I cannot contain my excitement for you finally experiencing it for the first time.
I enjoyed see him experience Halo from CE to 3 (didnt watch his reach playtrough). See him getting emotional did make me smile. It made.me think "Thats it, that is a true Halo fan".
How the feck did you get Steve downs to do your Intro!? How ever it came to be, Good work man! Loved it! ❤️
Dee Bee Geek, I've been playing the H3, ODST, and Reach campaigns on Legendary for 10+ years now. I know tons of tricks, speed run tactics, and secrets/easter eggs for Legendary, but watching you noob your way through it all and enjoy every second is just lighting up my life! this fun and enjoyment is what the franchise is all about, and I'm glad that you have these opportunities!
That was the greatest intro ever
Well, I just learnt that hearts go away when editing a comment. Still very hyped for what's to come on your channel, including future Halo content.
Ive probably seen that ending more than a hundred times since I first played Halo 3 in 2008. It never fails to jerk some tears out of me.
God this is so heartwarming! My fav game franchise ever and it's still to this day hitting an emotional spot, thank you so much man for sharing your halo journey with us all
