I could be wrong but in neutral you may be able to punish Ashrah with certain things she does with meter burn down back 2 into down back 1 fan. Or you can probably catch Ashrah on a read. Her reach is very frustrating. The other thing would not be on the character but the player. Learning their habits on the fly and exploiting it. My first theory would have to be tested in the lab with Ashrah doing different stuff. See what works. I've punished people with that move who were out of range. Or l caught them with that move because they thought they were safe to press buttons believing they were out of range. The move is fast and un reactable, almost like Lui Kang's flying kick. But be careful because you can go over the person. If you go over the person you can use a Cameo that can hit them from behind like Cano. Hope this helps. i know you aren’t a fan but i’ve found more success using lao v ashrah than any of the other kameos. easier to keep her out & actually lets you play a mindgame around her attempting to armor projectiles
