The Golden Sands holiday chalet park was entirely to the east of Holmpton Road 50 years ago and it was enormous. Now there are less than half a dozen chalets there within 20 yds of the cliff. The park has since been completely re-sited west of Waxholme Rd in the arable lands beyond. These rock piles will slow the erosion, but they won't stop it, because the clay cliffs are so soft. Even the rain will wash them away. Meanwhile erosion will continue apace further south. This has been going on since the last ice age...

This is so sad we need to help the people!!!!!!!!
That would be a massive undertaking. Plus having to move the rocks a second time, further up the beach.
